my guy i don't even have npd and the way people talk about it is really getting on my nerves. like my god any true crime video in which someone involved was manipulative or abusive, or self obsessed, suddenly everyone in the comments is able to diagnose a complex personality disorder?
why the fuck are people equating a personality disorder with being abusive? this may shock some people, but being manipulative or abusive or self obsessed doesn't mean someone has any mental illnesses, and using those actions to "diagnose" a personality disorder is extremely fucking disgusting and none of you can say you care about destigmatising disorders when it's clear that it's selective.
you really need to deconstruct this stupid idea that npd = horrible awful abuser. narc abuse isn't a thing. your abuser didn't have narcissistic personality disorder just because they abused and manipulated you. you're just plain ableist.
