I got a job at a gas station across from a casino and a guy keeps coming in to buy whole cartons of cigarettes and talks in the third person calling himself "snake eyes pete" and every time I tell him his total hes like "tell ya what if old Pete rolls a snake eyes why dont you give it to him for free?" and he rolls the same set of loaded dice on the counter and it does not matter how many times he rolls snake eyes I will not give him the cartons for free he gets so mad
Snakeyes Pete is from Toronto he gave me a button once that said "Canadians have the best luck" and i said i thought that was the Irish and he said "I fucking hate the irish" and i said okay
there's a secret good sequel series that lives only in brain where finn and rey are force-sensitive foils to each other and they still spend movie #2 entirely apart but it's because they're exploring parallel and at time opposite relationships with the force and their place in the universe
and in my secret good version. okay hear me out. the han-leia kid is a hot lady. okay. are we following. and she DOES abandon luke's new jedi, not by falling and murdering people, but by stealing the millennium falcon and running off to escape responsibility and swaggers around with incredible han solo "loser pretending to be cool" energy. and then. she accidentally picks up two force sensitive teens on jakku and she's like. are you KIDDING me
listen my OC would be so good. she's introduced in like a space bar and you're just like "oh okay, the han solo character is a lady in this movie, okay"
but THEN some sort of shit hits the fan and you get that sexy, sexy lightsaber reveal. DO YOU SEE MY VISION
Djarin/Maul fic but instead of it being the AU where Maul lived past the Empire and shows up to the Seeing Stone on Tython instead ☝ it's the one where Maul lived past the Empire and has hired Djarin on more than one occasion and consequently is in Djarin's little black book of wildly powerful and influential friends that he doesn't know he has (the friends or the book). So when they eventually cross paths again Maul gets to play the wounded friend card like "My dear Mandalorian ally I would have been delighted to train your new young son in the ways of the Force had you only called upon me" and Djarin gets to look him dead in the eye and go "oh I'm so sorry I didn't know you're a Jedi, can you do the magic hand thing too?" Like do you guys see my vision? Can anyone hear me?
Luke Skywalker in The Mandalorian but it’s Toxic by Britney Spears
I’m gonna propose something: if your combat/ass-kicking sequence can’t fit to a top 40 female-vocalist Banger like “Toxic” or “Mama Mia” or “I Need a Hero” you’re not Doing It Right.
At this point its starting to feel like Editors are using 140-150bpm as a standard for action sequences, and I cant say I hate it.
I agree wholeheartedly with every point above but I watched this first with the sound off because I forgot that was an option and what struck me most is how efficient Luke's lightsaber style is. Almost every flourish he makes and all of what, 2 entire spins?, is defensive to better parry blaster fire while nearly every offensive swing he makes is basically a head or chest level kill shot. If I had to make a guess about his character I'd say this vintage twink has probably Seen Some Shit and maybe comes from a background where resources are scarce and help is far away so if you get in a fight you have to end it before it starts or you're dead meat
deeply want a time travel fic where Luke visits the old republic and the Jedi are like “that’s not a dueling style” and luke is like “yea am not doing much dueling tbh”
Inspired by a convo I’m having on Discord…
Raise your hand (or reblog or something like that) if you actually enjoyed the Kenobi show (or at least if the stuff you like about it outweighs the stuff you don’t, or even if you don’t love it but think it’s overhated)
What @mrv3000 said in her tags above.
The Kenobi series is, IMO, the best Star Wars since the TCW series ended.
And I do not care if you disagree.
soldier boy.
Hey gang, I’m doing @fandomtrumpshate again this year!
Check out my auction page for more details, but this year I am doing Heated Rivalry, Pokémon, and any fandom I’ve created for previously.
You might know me from:
Star Wars: Codywan, rexobi, dinluke
MDZS/CQL: wangxian, pretty much any wwx pairing
SVSSS: bingqiu, bingyuan, qingqiu
Marvel: punisher/daredevil (fratt)
DC: jaytim
Teen Wolf: Sterek, Steter
BNHA: most deku pairings, with an eye to shindeku and tododeku
…. And more, but those are the ones I made a lot of stuff for.
Take a look at my favs tag, my fic cover collections, my pinup tag, or just take a gander through my blog if you’re curious about my style.
My minimum bid is 200$, and feel free to reach out via tumblr if you have any questions about what I will or won’t do.
Bidding is now open!
Got ~33 hours left to bid if you’re thinking about it :)

i was really tempted to make him uncomfortably large thanks to the pioneers of big fisto (posts A and B — spectacular stuff) and it just feels right. feels organic
DOOKU In Star Wars: Jedi Knights (2025) #5
I think in any Jedi!Maul scenario where he grew up in the temple his whole life, it would be very very funny if he kept the evil Sam Witwer voice and cadence and delivery when he talked. Good guy with terminal mellifluous bad guy voice. He doesn’t hear it and can’t help it, everything he says sounds suspicious by default and constantly makes people do double takes. Genuinely a good person but sounds like the most classic evil mustache twirler of all time
i never want to yuck anyone's yum but one issue i have with how star wars fandom tackles slavery is the concept of universal slave culture. a unique culture certainly develops in enslaved populations over time but it's by no means universal. one of the greatest evils of slavery is the mass displacement of people. they're torn from their families, home(worlds), languages and forced to assimilate to the culture of their slavers. in the friction between the cultures of the groups of people that make up an enslaved population of a place and the culture of the slavers, a new sense of identity is eventually created
i feel like the way fanon tackles it, it doesn't actually acknowledge the horror of displacement and the grief of being ripped from your culture because it seems to assume people will just embrace that being a slave is their new identity and easily give up their places of origin. this is still assimilation, in a way. it ignores that those people have an individuality beyond the traumatic experience that other people have forced on them and they have their own cultural origins. and even then, slavery in geographically separate locations is an entirely different experience. assuming that for example slavery on tatooine is generational, with people living long enough and reproducing often enough that you can have a somewhat stable population without a constant influx of new displaced individuals with their own cultural background, then anakin's experience is going to be very different from idk. a twi'lek on zygerria where people get sold or die too quickly to form communities. they might relate to each other in terms of traumatic experiences but the cultural background is different because shockingly, same trauma doesn't mean same culture. it seems odd to me to equate the two.
and then moving backwards, not everyone is going to want to meaningfully relate to their status as a slave either. for some people rebellion might mean reclamation yes but for others it might also mean saying fuck you, i belong in xyz place and nothing you do or say will ever change how i see myself. i understand the appeal of making a powerful message but i feel the poweful message loses its sensitivity when it assumes the only reaction to an involuntary experience is to entirely embrace it to the point where it becomes the primary identity marker. whatever existed before a person was enslaved is erased and in a way slavery is then equated with being a minority group when it's not that, in the same way that prisoners of war and hostages are not a minority group
and to clarify the last bit, what i mean is you don't owe the social class that someone else forced on you a belonging. nobody is naturally a slave, it's something that's a violation of human decency in every manifestation. the same identity based reclamation that is empowering for a minority group might fall shallow here and i think the reason it irks me is that it feels like a very western liberal way of adopting a viewpoint that sounds fairly empathetic on the surface but is clearly not giving any thought to realities that (white) westerners aren't likely to personally encounter. unfortunately for my ever thinning patience with social media sites, i'm a hater and i firmly believe it would do us all some good to think about situations that don't affect us with a little more care
#but essentially what im saying is a culture can be influenced by slavery but slavery is not in itself a culture#and losing your whole idenitity to slavery is still a forced assimilation even if its hashtag slave culture#my primary beef is that this piece of fanon started off as located on tatooine (feasible)#and developed into 'every slave in the sw universe speaks the same secret language' (what are you even doing)
#i wanted to elaborate on this because im aware that a minority status was usually relevant to a person being able to be enslaved#but i don't think this is the case with star wars necessarily#and anyway as i said my problem is mainly with the idea that slavery overwrites a person's birth culture & that this is a good thing#imo the loss of someone's identity until the only thing that remains is forced servitude is a horrifying thing#yet this horror is never explored in fanon and instead there's this odd celebratory empowering tone with it

Jedi Knights #8 - "Through Youngling Eyes" (2025)
written by Marc Guggenheim art by Madibek Musabekov & Luis Guerrero
For some reason as a like 5 or 6 year old I got one of those dolls that can pee and I remember being really frustrated that the pee went straight through it and there was no transformation of fluids involved, so I decided to make blueprints for dolls that had an actual digestive system & organs & all that. I was also a fan of Star Wars at the time so this resulted in my mom finding a notebook full of naked Star Wars characters (Yoda & his penis included) that I got in huge trouble for.
