Hi. I’m a professional math tutor. I am “good with numbers.” I have answered muttered questions while the person was trying to figure out how to solve them using a calculator. I have been gawped at and referred to as a “human calculator” many times.

Here’s a secret: These tricks are exactly how people who are “good with numbers” do quick mental math. Anyone who tells you not to use them is wrong. (Including the fingers thing. Fingers help you keep track of numbers. That’s good.)

Spent a good amount of time to figure out that I really am the human equivalent of a saltine cracker. 3rd level human cleric, true neutral. I’d like to think I’d be knowledge domain, but who knows. At the very least I can cast 2nd level spells… like locate object… so I can find my phone after I put it down.

Um, so while bay leaves should be used to cook food...They gotta be taken out before you serve it! If somebody tries to eat/swallow a bay leaf, it’s like swallowing razor blades. These flavorful little guys are tough and sharp. It can and will slice the inside of your throat and stomach.
