Anyone who’s been on my blog for more than twenty seven minutes or so knew this was coming.

Thinking about a world where John and Martin have their own little flat with a couple of cats and their little baby girl Gertie whose the spitting image of her papa but as grouchy as her daddy if you catch her in the wrong mood.

Thinking about a Saturday in autumn where they get her into her little duffle coat with the hat her papa knitted for her and mittens to match. They take the tube, she loves the roar of the trains and roars right back at them as they stand on the platform, one hand in each of her father’s.

They go to her favourite place, the Natural History Museum. Gertie waves at the diplodocus skeleton as they walk in and the blue whale skeleton. She has to see every single thing, peering at it curiously while her daddy explains to her what each item is and where it came from in his low, soothing voice. Even when she gets tired, John lifts her into his arms and she rests her head on his chest while she listens.

The insects in the cases are her favourites, with their bright, colourful wings and spindly legs. Her papa has to take over the commentary at that point, her daddy says bugs give him the creeps.

They eat in the little cafe and her dad’s bicker and laugh and hold hands across the table. Gertie falls asleep on the tube ride home, in Martin’s arms, while John leans against them, both father and daughter enjoying his soft warmth.

And then it’s home and curling up on the sofa with the cats, Martin still cradling Gertie even though he could put her to bed, he just wants to hold his daughter for a little longer. John just smiles so fondly and makes the tea, though he’s secretly so glad to have her there with them

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

We gave him a fake and he never noticed," which the media would have a FIELD DAY with, because it's like the resurrection of Jesus only with a painting, instead of a person, and also, the whole thing is funny as FUCK, bc they gave him a fake and he didnt notice, and also-also, clearly the Lourve was ahead of the curve when it came to recognising Miles' stupidity, and it'll stay in the media for WEEKS, that Miles was conned by the lourve and clearly they were right to trick him because LOOK WHAT HAPPENED to the fake Mona lisa, PLUS of course all the rest of the stuff like the 2 murders and the hydrogen fuel and the idea theft and etc.

Like?? There's no losing here. Both options are great. If it was real, then he'll never live it down, and if it was fake, he'll never live it down. Either way: fantastic
