You may have heard of the “cotton ceiling,” a euphemism for transwomen trying to break past the resistance of lesbians not wanting to have sex with a biological man. The “cotton” refers to their underpants, so “cotton ceiling” refers to the entitlement to get inside them, past that “barrier” (their word). Stonewall regards it as equivalent to apartheid.
The gay male version of this is the “boxer ceiling,” in which biological women express their entitlement to men’s sexuality and attraction, haranguing gay men who don’t want to sleep with them, acting like it’s a moral failing, calling homosexual (literally same-sex) attraction a “genital fetish,” lambasting them to get over it and have sex with someone with a vagina, and even condemning them to “burn in hell.”
Which is exactly the same thing gay men have dealt with for decades by Xian bigots.
Well, not exactly. Gay men and women are arguably better off with the Xian bigot, because society generally doesn’t accept Xian anti-gay rhetoric. On the other hand, the wail of the tired old canard of “transphobia” causes support for gay men and women to instantly dry up, and they’re left to their own devices. Unlike Xian anti-gay rhetoric, Woke anti-gay hate is a progressive virtue.
You may think this is a fringe idea. But here’s an album of over 4000 screenshots of rampantly anti-gay hate, including recommendations for the recipient to kill themselves. The album is appropriately titled “Woke Homophobia: Anti-Gay Hatred & Boxer Ceiling Abuse from Trans Activists & Gender-Identity Ideologues.”
These are the people who assure us that they are our most shining exemplars of progressive moral thought, the most awake and aware of the human condition, the guardians and champions of our collective virtue, and indisputably “on the right side of history.”
If you can get past more than a couple of dozen of these screenshots without concluding that they’re all heterosexual women with crippling mental illnesses and massive entitlement complex, then you’re far more charitable than I.
Apparently, this is what the world is now. This is what self ID gets us. This is what remaining silent for fear of being called “transphobic” gets us. This is what not saying “no” when we should have gets us. This is why groups like LGB Alliance exist, and need to. And this is directly why societal support for LGBT has dipped for the first time, like, ever.
Because people are sick of the gaslighting, sociopathic narcissism and outright reality-denial.
One of the main reasons why I feel alienated on tumblr in recent years is because I see a lot of this kind of bullshit, which gets around because a lot of well-intentioned people reblog them thinking they’re helping a good cause.
Newsflash: We’re not obliged to jump on the pity bandwagon for every nutcase that cries “I’m oppressed! People are so mean to me! Boohoohoo help me set fire to my enemies”.
Sometimes people on the internet are just weirdos that should be ignored. Please consider carefully if a cry of injustice has a legitimate claim before reblogging stuff that damages the reputation of the LGBT community and lowers public support for them.
Transmen can be incels too.
