but for real tho, that ‘how to ask for help’ thing is VALID. there’s been a few times I’m at a new job and I’m being trained on something and the trainer asks me, “Any questions?” and I respond with something to the effect of, “Yes, but I don’t even know what they are.” 

that’s one of the problems i have with work accommodations. the last couple jobs i had were through a program for people with disabilities, so shortly after starting my supervisor would ask me what kind of accommodations I need and i have to tell them that i don’t know until it actually becomes a problem, which is obviously really inconvenient and frustrating for everyone.
