CW Flash/Barry Allen Roleplaying Blog. I do have very basic simple knowledge of Comic Barry as well as animated Barry and have no issue with roleplaying within those verses. Just be patient and understanding if there is something I don't know or I make an incorrect reference to something not canon. Time Freeze

It didn’t matter that he wasn’t hers. As soon as she saw that ridiculous blue parka her feet were moving without her permission. First she was just walking, then sprinting, and then her superspeed ignted. She closes the distance between them in a flash. Arms wrapped snuggly around his waist, face buried in the warm fur of his jacket. Hot tears streamed down her cheeks. She doesn’t know if she just traveled back in time or if she jumped worlds entirely but she didn’t care either. Before Captain Cold has time to react or she collects herself enough to explain there is crackle of lightning.

Barry responds as quick as well the flash when Cisco calls him up about the breech. He had been expecting either a friend needing help or an enemy to fight, not Captain Cold getting a hug from a teen girl dressed in Iris’ once used Flash outfit. He clears his throat, “uh.. Am I interrupting or...”

She spins releasing Captain Cold from her hug and smiles big and toothy at The Flash despite the tears still on her cheeks, “Hey dad!” she exclaims. Then back pedals, “or maybe my dad? not sure if I world hopped or time traveled... or both? ooohh man would that be...”

“a mess,” Barry finishes for her. He throws a glance over her head to meet Leonard Snart’s eyes then looks back to the young speedster, “any particular reason you were crying into Captain Cold’s chest?” He asks mostly because thats really what confused him the most about all of this. A time traveling relative of his was surprising but not entirely unexpected. If any of his relatives got his speed it’d stand to reason they’d stumble over the same mistakes he did. Like time travel. 

She wipes at her tears hastily, “he’s who took care of me after you...” 

“Captain Cold, takes care of my daughter after I disappear?” Barry asks incredublously.

“I really shouldn’t be talking to you about this...” she huffs remembering the billion and one warnings her dad’s gave her about altering timelines.

Had they met, how do you think Leonard would have reacted to Savitar? If you're not answering these right now no worries.

Ooooh, that’s always an interesting one.

Len knows that Barry has the potential to be ‘bad’ in him.

He recognizes that Barry has a ruthless edge (sees his ‘ends justify the means’ bullshit for what it is and isn’t afraid to keep him in check sometimes even - )

So I think if he saw this:

He’d get it.

It would feel like being punched in the gut, the first time, but he’d get it. He’d be surprised but not surprised. It would make a twisted sort of sense to him. He’d get over any shock pretty damn quick, and not bother with any attempts to play on Savitar’s pathos. 

Savitar is the worst of Barry. The cruelest, most willing to hurt, least capable of hope. And I think seeing it would be tough for Len in the sense that - Barry’s a person who’s inspired him to be more, to do better. 

In a lot of ways.

So seeing the person who’s influenced him and believes in him and recklessly throws himself into danger to help him become the worst version of himself? I think Len, at least initially and on some level, would be repulsed by that, by seeing his worst beliefs about Barry brought to life. 

Still - Len doesn’t put people on pedestals. He knows Barry for what he is, what he’s capable of. 

And I don’t think he’d be especially impressed by Savitar? Frightened, sure. Savitar is fast and mean and dangerous as hell. He’s Barry unfiltered and violent. But Savitar hasn’t got anything over Len emotionally, and his whole “I’m going to become a god” thing would be cheesy af to Len. 

(look, we know how he responds to egoist self-acclaimed rulers and gods and ‘destroyer of empires’s).

He’d be interested to see how it plays out, maybe. He’d take it personal, possibly, that this version of Barry is so cheesy and violent and take a stake in taking down Savitar if only to save the kid’s reputation (yes, secretly it’s because he actually cares about Barry and its obvious how seeing this evil version of himself is affecting him but shhh don’t tell).

Because at the end of the day, as much as Len might want to see a version of Barry that’s willing to be bad, we already know how he really feels.

Like... Barry runs back and lands himself merged with his teen self with all his knowledge only to realize him and Len had crossed paths (like at the precinct... or Barry never gets adopted by west and they meet in foster homes? I don’t even know plot with me!!) and he can do something to help the thief now! Which help and good intentions then turn to feelings....

Or full AU where Barry gets his powers as a teen in high school and Len is making a name for himself as a thief and they meet then... young love ensues....
