So apparently the haters have decided to review bomb S3 on IMDb TWO YEARS after it came out, so for posterity here are the episode scores as of February 12th 2026:
Episode 1: 7.8
Episode 2: 8.0
Episode 3: 7.9
Episode 4: 8.6 (the highest rated Bridgerton episode in any season)
Episode 5: 8.2
Episode 6: 7.8
Episode 7: 7.6
Episode 8: 7.7
We had 4 episodes over 8 before they started (that 7.9 is the drop) but they’re still really respectable numbers, don’t let anyone fool you.
If you haven’t rated S3 on IMDb yet, leave it a positive rating to help cancel out the review bombing. And honestly? Part 2 deserves better scores. The angst was SO GOOD! The wedding episode being the lowest is ridiculous.
Wake up BuckTommy Girlies it’s time for your morning submission of feedback politely asking to see Buck move in with Tommy next season and why you think Buck and Tommy deserve stability together.
i think we all need to see this pic again
If Tommy treated Buck the same way Eddie does, that other side would call Tommy the devil incarnate.
a few of the many reasons bobs already think Tommy is the devil incarnate:
he calls Buck "Evan"
he made a daddy joke (that Buck started)
he gave him ibuprofen
he gifted him basketball game tickets
meanwhile Eddie:
dismissed Buck's grief (Buck watched Bobby (his father figure) dying, but Eddie receiving a call in the middle of the night and having to talk to Chris about it the next day is somehow a lot worse)
made it all about himself and his own pain while accusing Buck of making it about him (when all Buck has been doing is holding in his own grief and checking in on everybody else)
almost got physically violent
insinuated that Buck may have not done everything he could do to save Bobby
left a note that implied he had gone back to Texas
came back with his child and aunt in tow with no prior warning
didn't apologize (just a hand wave "some guy was mean to you, whatever")
gaslighted Buck about his interpretation of what his note meant
sure. very similar situations.
he's so cuteeee
here’s what i think. i think that if you watch a drama about first responders who risk their lives on a daily basis, but you watch it because you think it’s a slow burn romance because someone online told you it was, and then you turn around and claim that the show is “making fun of you” or “laughing in your face” or being “cruel to the fandom” - well, i think you’ve probably convinced yourself that this show is something that it isn’t.
people die. firefighters die. and you know what, babies and children die. to think that bobby’s beautiful full-circle story was anything but carefully crafted - we’re not watching the same show. like, we can’t be. you’re watching edits on tiktok. you’re watching week to week and clinging to anything that feeds the machine. 9-1-1, from season one (skipped by many apparently, which is a damn shame), has never shied away from the darkness of the human existence, and it never will. this show isn’t what you’ve told yourself it is. there’s nothing to be afraid of, though - you can enjoy darkness, you can appreciate it. no one is pranking you. no one is laughing at you. you can enjoy it for what it is. think your own thoughts.
ROBERT WADE NASH ▸8x16, the last alarm
"I live in the believe that one day I'll see them again" "You really believe that?" "With all my heart, I do"
"You're home now"
And THIS is exactly the reason why Bobs will never ever get what they want.
Such a beautiful episode and you focus on a character that is there for a minute? lol
Their despair will give me immense satisfaction. They deserve less than nothing and that is what they will get.
Since we're seeing BoBs complaining ✨️again✨️ about Tommy being a pallbearer, let's just think for a second.
It's been pointed out before a million times that it's customary to have members of a Captain's house carry the coffin, that's why it's not Harry or May. Next.
"But Tommy isn't in Bobby's house, it makes no sense." If we're using that argument, Eddie also shouldn't be a pallbearer because, at the moment, he's not a member of the 118. Next.
"But Tommy didn't even really know Bobby." Babes, we can't keep having to quote canon, on-screen moments that prove this wrong every time just because you ppl watch the show with your eyes closed and your ears plugged. Next.
"Well, why don't they put another random firefighter from the 118, then?" 😮💨😮💨 Okay. Let's put on our thinking hats for a second. Who is the General Audience going to be less surprised to see in that spot? A random firefighter who we've never seen before ('cause they've never even been consistent with the last names of the background firefighters, let's be real)? Or the recurring character who:
Was an OG member of Bobby's first crew at the 118 and who spent months under his command.
Was a key element in saving Bobby and Athena from the cruise ship last year.
Was a part of the most recent, two-part emergency where he was a key element in saving Bobby's crew.
Dated Bobby's pseudo-son for 6 months.
Bobby *verbatim* said was good people and good for Buck.
Has been mentioned constantly, even in episodes he wasn't in, keeping him in the audience's mind.
Seriously? WHO makes more sense? A random person we've never seen or the character who was literally in the previous episode who has many connections to Bobby, even beyond their own personal one?
Like, be for fucking real. BoBs, babes, you just don't want to see Tommy 'cause you hate him. JUST SAY THAT instead of trying to pull dumb empty arguments from your asses. At least that way you people would be honest. 🙄🙄
Pure and Dumb: A Summary
The fact that in such a monumental jam packed episode, they made the decision day of to film Tommy reacting to Buck. We also know that Tim is involved (heavily) with the editing process so for him to then take that scene and have it inserted in that sequence. To top it all off he highlighted it in his interview. If anyone has any doubts as to whether Tim likes Tommy/Bucktommy I think there is your answer.
Yep.
Exactly. Timbo’s decision-making process may be bizarre and not all of his choices are good. But it is beyond time to stop letting bvddies control the narrative that Timbo would do bvddie if he could and he resents the success of bucktommy. WHY would he? He created it! He got the approval to do the story, got Oliver on board, handpicked his love interest and went with a character and actor he already liked, is on record liking, and swung on a storyline that could have very easily been rejected wholesale by the wider audience… but instead it was largely well-received except by a few hundred weirdos who were never going to accept anything that wasn’t their fanon ship.
In those terms bucktommy was an unmitigated success, and what writer hates it when people like their work? I have my problems with him as a showrunner, but it’s a mistake to think he’s totally unaware of what he’s doing and lucking ass-backward into everything. Does he want to keep the bvddies on the hook? Yeah of course, that’s kind of his job, though he should definitely not play pattycake with them so much. He’s trying to placate them (and failing. They’re actually implacable), not please them. Why on earth do people still think he actually wants to please people who send him death threats and harass his family, though?
Genuine question.
One of the most frustrating parts of bucktommy fandom is how many people let bvddies live rent free in their heads and control the narrative and set the terms of engagement.
Free yourself.
Consider the evidence, the primary smoking gun of which is the canon events that happen on screen. Of course Timbo likes bucktommy as a pairing and Tommy as a character and Lou as an actor. It was a runaway success that got him a lot of buzz and solved more problems than it created. At least, in-show it did. The fan bs is best ignored. Does that mean he’s married to it? No of course not, he just took an axe to Bathena, he’s not married to a goddamn thing. But the evidence at this point supports that he’s running with it for a while!
Lou is not a fan sitting on the internet and making headcanons. He’s the actor that plays Tommy Kinard. And if he is playing Tommy Kinard like Evan Buckley is the love of his life and soulmate then that matters to the characterization of Tommy.
That’s the intention he plays his character…
that is informed by the scripts and directions that he gets on set…
that fans don’t have access to.
So yes, it does matter and it’s not equivalent to B*ddieWarrior234’s headcanon on X. Lou is Tommy Kinard, and Lou is playing Tommy Kinard with an intention and purpose. In reality (where most of us try to live) unless you’re Tim Minear, he’s the most important source for all things Tommy.
His hands.
I just love seeing them realize just how crazy the other is <3
