When we don’t sleep well, everything changes! It directly affects our eating patterns, our brain functions and can lead to diseases 🤒 like diabetes, obesity, and even cancer. It can also shoot stress levels, make us feel fatigued, and make us easily irritable about anything 😤. ⠀ ⠀ You’ve probably asked yourself a million times which are the motives that inhibit you from sleeping well, and here we bring six possible answers that have a lot to do with your habits at home:⠀ ⠀ 🔵 Your room is too warm 🔥: This, of course, will bother you as it has been proven that cooler temperatures ❄️ make us sleep better, so maybe it’s a good time to get a fan or turn on your A/C.⠀ ⠀ 🔵 You drank caffeine after 3 pm: A cup of coffee in the afternoon sounds about right ☕️ but… it’ll keep you active until very late! Had a great sunny 🌞 walk today. Kept a nice pace to wake up the legs and lower back, but felt pretty great after. It's been 6 days since I went mostly plant based. I say mostly because I had a Burrito on Monday that had about 4oz of animal protein in it. But all in all I'm already feeling the effects. Energy is up, feeling more refreshed and sleeping a bit better, definitely not feeling as bloated all the time. And the big change is I've already dropped about 2lbs in that time. Definitely looking for to seeing how this will impact training for upcoming races.
