This weekend has been a weekend of splurging myself (since Thursday night really). And I’ve been good at working out both Thursday and Friday and then went tubing on the river today and burned some calories paddling along, but otherwise, nothing. I don’t regret any of it because it was all during fun times with friends, but I’m also super excited to get back on track tomorrow morning. I’m going to have to go get some groceries tomorrow, but that’s okay. In the mean time tonight, I’ll have some semi-healthy snacks and just enjoy myself/relax a little bit longer.
So as mentioned, I was out of town visiting w friends this weekend and though I managed to stay somewhat healthy on Thursday, I definitely had some super non keto eats during the last few days (everything in moderation, right?)
Cheat weekend eats ———————————
Friday: birthday cake donut and cinnamon latte, matcha latte from a cafe (not my low carb one), and then a fuckin’ half a pound of brisket burnt ends w cornbread and sweet potato fries (sooo good you guys!!!) and then various snacks at an event that we went to (mini eclair, brownie, couple strawberries etc)
Saturday: various snacks at a brunch including a small slice of French toast, fruit, eggs and coffee; pesto chicken grilled cheese on rye w creamy tomato soup, popcorn w butter, shrimp dumplings, and sushi!!!! (I LOVE sushi. My love for sushi knows no bounds) and then some frozen yogurt w a few toppings
Sunday: Spanish latte and a bento box lunch which included mixed veggies, rice, egg and ground turkey w ginger!
Clearly, I had a really good weekend and ate all kinds of carbs. (Listen. Ya just have to live your life). But since I’m back home now, I will get back to healthy eating so stay tuned. Also, I think instead of having two weigh in days this month I’ll just go for one at the end of the month...since I’m fairly certain I have not been losing weight 😅

UNTRACKED CHEAT WEEKEND | Isle of Palms
So I was kind of intentionally / not intentionally terrible with my diet this past weekend. I had a whole bunch of social engagements that involved food and alcohol and I was just kinda of whatever about restricting my diet. I weighed myself Thursday evening to basically see how much damage I could do in 3 days and I was at 194. So Friday I was going out with my friends and I drank 3 coolers & probably 6 or 7 tequila shots - consumed a lot of chips and dip. Then Saturday I was feeling pretty shitty so I got a bagel with cream cheese, a Buddha bowl from Freshi and a chicken bacon wrap from Tim Hortons & then ate dumplings when I got home. Sunday I played 2 baseball games back to back 8am - 10:30 am. Then I got a hash brown and a bagel sandwich from Tims, I had a hot dog & 2 more coolers. Then that evening I went out for all you can eat sushi (picture in my next post). Monday I spent most of the day vegging and being exhausted, went to the mall with my mom & bought a Starbucks Carmel frapp (essentially desert in a cup) then we went to atomic blonde and I got a small popcorn with butter. So the above food choices were basically what I ate those days that were very atypical for me. Anyway so I weighed myself this morning and the damage was 198lbs. The thing is I can feel my body reacting terribly to terrible food. My chin broke out this morning from all the extra fats and sugars. I have been feeling really low on energy and my body is now only craving more high fat, high sugar foods. Cheating for a couple days can create a really vicious cycle and I can definitely tell I really need to be on top of self control game for the next couple of days!

w e l p lol. What can I say, it was a more or less happy weekend anyway. Currently meal prepping a zucchini lasagna (like, the concept is sliced zucchini is to lasagna noodles as zoodles are to spaghetti) that I am inventing a recipe for so I can eat something filling and healthy for dinner this week.
