I’m starting a 30 exercise challenge today. Not April Fools! Maintained my 52 lbs lost in March but not much else was accomplished. Trying to focus more on cardio/strength training and less worrying over the scale.

I thought I was doing the 7 Minute Workout about once a week (my goal is twice) so I was shocked that in reality it's been averaging on 1,5 times per month 😅
Time to challenge myself with the 30 day full body workout challenge from the 7 Minute Workout app! I got 6 in, it only takes around 5 minutes a day. You can only see the next day's workout and sometimes it surprises you with a rest day 😁. Also, the exercises vary each day which is nice bc I get bored easily. 🤓

I’m restarting my weight loss journey. Finally feel like I’m eating the right kind of things. My body doesn’t feel so blah. I’m not gaining weight now it’s time to start the exercise. I haven’t been to the gym in awhile so I’ll start slow with this 30 day challenge and add the gym on top of this. I’m hoping to get under 80kgs in the next four weeks and I’m roughly 81.4kg now. Fight on fibro warriors and weight loss friends.
Yesterday for my lent exercise challenge I did 20 minutes on the cross trainer before work. Sometimes you can only fit a little in, but it's better than nothing!

Hi! I'm Bea. 🐝
I'm a 32 year old, bi, married trainwreck lol. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, but currently live out in the country in the great nation of Texas with my husband and two doggos.
I love cartoons, coffee, cars, animals, baking, running, and all things strange and inexplicable. My main blog is @cicadaskin (can be graphic/NSFW). I'm a chef by trade, but currently not working, as I take time to get my life back together in a healthy way.
My past was tumultuous, and I lived a life of escapism on the fringe. Only in the past couple of years have I turned around to face my demons and really address the underlying traumas that I've experienced in my life. I'm at a place where I can finally focus on myself and confront my fears and unhealthy coping mechanisms. And that's the purpose of my blog and the focus of this challenge for me: bettering myself physically, mentally, and emotionally.
I've been diagnosed with PTSD, chronic depression, and general anxiety. I do take medication, but also want to supplement my recovery with therapy and exercise, as well as replacing old habits with healthier new ones to cope with stress and triggers. I'm really hoping to learn who I really am underneath all the darkness I've been shrouded in, and to really embrace myself for the first time in my life.
I look forward to growing through this challenge and seeing others flourish with me!
