Marvel Ship Headcanons
AKA things my silly little brain came up with when I'm half asleep that may or may not make sense.
Stony
Steve understands technology a bit more than Tony gives him credit for. There have probably been times where Tony is going super in depth on how to fix a technological issue, only for Steve to waltz up, unplug it, and plug it back in again, and it works.
Steve drags Tony on dates at least once a month, and those dates are stupid and cheesy and Tony makes fun of him for it all the time except he secretly loves it. Like, laying in bed, kicking his feet after the date amount of love.
Tony obviously pampers the HELL outta Steve. Like... a LOT. But Steve pampers Tony right back, in his own way. Massages, flowers, drawings, anything he can give Tony that means something.
In his very limited spare time, Steve sits on the couch in Tony's workshop and watches Tony work. He sketches him in a little sketchbook that Tony bought him. He sneaks those sketches into Tony's work case, in between his papers for Stark Industries.
Tony keeps those sketches in his workshop when he finds them.
Tony's love language is touch. He tries to pretend it isn't, but it totally is. It shows in the way he melts into Steve's arms after a particularly rough day. It shows in the way he plays with Steve's hair during Forced Team Bonding Movie Night.

Stucky
Bucky has nightmares. Of course he does. But people don't seem to realize that Steve has them too. When Steve wakes up from a nightmare, Bucky makes him a warm drink, sitting with him until he finishes it or until he falls asleep. Just like he did when they were kids.
The arm that Bucky got from HYDRA tended to pinch in weird places and was very painful to use. When Steve found this out, he went straight to Tony. In the end, Tony got to ditch team bonding time for a month. Steve got Bucky a new arm.
At first, Bucky refused to touch Steve with his metal arm. He didn't believe that something that had done so much harm could be gentle when it was most important. One day, Steve took Bucky's hand, and just held it. Bucky didn't let go until he fell asleep.
Steve plays with Bucky's hair constantly.
Bucky put eyeliner on Steve once. He didn't notice until Tony burst out laughing in the middle of a mission debrief.

WinterIron
Tony keeps his distance for a long time. It's Bucky who comes to him, explaining that his arm is malfunctioning. He says it hinders him during missions, and that it was a liability. Tony fixed it and insisted on bi-weekly check-ins. It's during one of these check-ins, when Bucky finally lets Tony remove the arm, that Tony begins to fall for him.
Tony is super jealous of Bucky's friendship with Steve at first. When someone brings up the idea of Steve and Bucky as a couple, Bucky doesn't stop laughing for at least five minutes. The jealousy faded after that.
Tony uses JARVIS/FRIDAY to mess with Bucky all the time. Whether it's calling him to the workshop just to remind Bucky that he loved him, or if it was programming the AI to only refer to Bucky as "Terminator" or "Sugarplum" or "Rapunzel".
Bucky started wearing his hair in a half-pony when it got too long. Tony was exceptionally normal about this (he was not).

IronHulk
Tony biggest turn-on is competence. The second that he met Bruce on the helicarrier, he was gone for him.
Bruce keeps the mini-fridge in the lab stocked because he knows Tony won't bother to leave the lab to get food when he's in The Zone (TM).
Tony has tried to find a cure for Bruce's gamma radiation. He gets frustrated whenever he works on it. Bruce makes him go to bed whenever he catches Tony working on it.
Bruce mostly sleeps in Tony's penthouse, but Tony makes sure that cleaners tend to Bruce's floor at least once a week anyways. He knows Bruce isn't a huge fan of heights.

(Tony has been injured, taking a bullet for Clint. It thankfully didn't hit any dangerous areas, but it did come close to the Arc Reactor- startling his team badly. Clint can't help but puppy guard him for a while, unable to stop seeing tony falling to the floor bleeding. Steve can't help but follow Tony around as much as possible- to afraid of losing him, especially before confessing his feelings for the genius.)
Tony: *On the couch, irritated* Do I have to lay here?
Clint: *Sitting on the floor in front of Tony* Yep, you just stay there and let Steve cuddle you! Please, for us? *Gives the puppy eyes look, the one people feel to guilty to say no to*
Tony: ...Fine.
Steve: *embarrassed and flustered* I'm sorry Tony, I just... j-just...
(Steve struggles to find the words he needs. In the end he can only bury his face back into Tony hair, nuzzling his entire form even closer to Tony's body somehow.)
Steve: I can't say it right now Tony, but believe me when I say I can't stand to see you hurt again like that. I hate when you're hurt at all.
Tony: *Confused, oblivious, and concerned* Alright Cap, you can hold me as long as you want. Take your time on whatever you have to say too, I can wait. *Glances at Clint* you can stay too, you know? As long as you desire, Birdbrain... Want to hold my hand?
(Tony offers Clint his hand, which he happily takes. Steve is happy too, grateful that Tony was understanding. Then the other Avengers decided to join them, setting themselves around Tony.)
Tony: *Sighs* Well it's now a party in here, can I at least have a drink?
Natasha: *Hands over a glass of chocolate milk*
Tony: *Deadpan stare* ...Thanks. Also, why?
Hulk: No bad drink today, only safe ones. *Gently pats Tony's head*
Steve: Hulk is right, you shouldn't drink right now Tony. You're one some strong medicine and being drunk isn't going to help you heal anyway.
(Tony pouts, but settles as he drinks the chocolate. Thor comes over with snacks for Tony, things that won't be too hard on his stomach. The medication is making him feel great, but he doesn't feel hungry much.)
Thor: Eat SHIELD brother! You need your strength to recover your wounds! Steve would be saddened if you had to stay down much longer.
(Tony's attention was caught on what Thor said.)
Tony: Why would- Steve, why would you be sad if I'm benched for awhile anyway, besides me being an important part of the team?
Steve: *Blushing, he mumbles his words.*
Tony: Could you say that again? I didn't hear you, and I don't have super hearing like you do.
Steve: *Blushing red now, blurts out his answer.* I-I love you!
(Five whole, silent, seconds pass by.)
Tony: *Blushes* I like you too, Steve.
Steve: *Bolts up, staring at Tony's face* Really!?
Tony: *Hiding his face in his hands* Yeah...
Clint: Do you love me, Tony? *Teasing*
Tony: *Blushing harder* Y-Yeah.
(Clint froze, staring at Tony with disbelief. A blush slowly making way on his face.)
Hulk: Little Tony like all of us?
Tony: *Gives a small squeak* Y-Yes, okay! I like all of you, each of you having traits that make you wonderful! *So red at this point*
Avengers: ...
( They bring Tony down off the couch, rearranging themselves so they could cuddle their precious genius.)
Avengers: *internally* No one shall take Tony from us. No one.

Can I just talk about TonyBruce for a minute?
As much as I *personally* love the madness of st/0n/y I feel that the Science Bros(boyfriends) Isn’t always given the respect it deserves.
People tend to really undermine how beautiful and important that relationship is to both characters. Their genuine bond for science is so refreshing to see because they just get each other and they can nerdy talk all day about stuff no one would get.
The fact that Tony was the first person to treat Bruce like a person, he invited him to hang out more and freestyle create, promising a stress free environment. (Too bad their first creation/baby was a psychopath Tony saying Ultron has anger issues 😆 Tony made Bruce smile/laugh and was beginning to get him to open up/he was never afraid of Hulk and more fascinated him.
My heart just swells when they show Tony’s reaction to hearing that Bruce tried to kill himself.
🥹then Tony coded Bruce is the strongest avenger!!!
HULK CAUGHT TONY AT END OF AVENGERS! It took time for him to trust Thor and others but he already considered Tony a friend. 🫠 (when he threw him was such a Hulk thing 😆 but he made sure he was ok/didn’t fall to his death) HE GROWLED and Tony woke up!!
I love seeing Tony/Bruce ride off together all happy is so iconic and it added years to my life. Just science bros going off to do science bro things!
And while I may be one the few people that didn’t hate the BruceNat arc,Tony would and should have been the one to calm him down.
I think the “therapy” scene at the end of Iron Man 3 was so cute/funny but at the same time I don’t think Bruce would have fell asleep. I get they were going for a laugh but as much as Bruce loves and respects Tony I think he WOULD HAVE LISTENED and would be happy to hear Tony open up. The fact that Tony even felt comfortable opening up says a lot. And Bruce didn’t want to hurt Tony’s feelings by thinking he didn’t have time just not the proper training. And even though Bruce is tired/he still stays and listens to Tony tell his story all over again.
The “Hey Tony” “Bruce?” “Are you ok” and the way Bruce just falls into the hug with no dialogue. And the way Tony automatically knew something was wrong 🥺! (And him acknowledging Pepper was nice too because what a gent)
I love that Bruce knows that Tony wears his pants really tight!
I hate that so many friend-zone them/there was some immaculate chemistry that gets downplayed when the story wants to focus on other things.
