I really like that angsty Batfam trope where Thomas and Martha Wayne come back to life for a short period of time, and they don't really care for the batkids. But hear me out, they don't care for the batkids EXCEPT for Damian. Imagine Bruce sees his parents, and one of the first things he does besides crying and hugging his parents is introduce his kids to them. He just proudly goes down the line from oldest to youngest.
Thomas and Martha are immediately delighted when they see Damian because he looks so much like their son when he was younger. And what if Bruce mentions that Damian is his only biological child because he didn't think it would matter. Unfortunately, he's wrong.
What if they make remarks about him no longer needing the other kids because he finally has a "real" child of his own. Maybe they tell Bruce he should've thought twice about taking in random children because it could've ruined the Wayne name. The rest of the family is hurt by this, but they're also not about to ruin this for Bruce. They try to be understanding and make it seem like everything is okay even when it's not.
The thing is, there's no saving this situation. At first, Bruce feels absolutely devastated, but slowly, it develops into anger. How could his parents adore Damian but have zero care for the rest of his children. They're just as important to him even without the shared DNA.
What if Bruce just tells them to get out. Maybe he tells them to go to a different part of the manor, go to a hotel, or sleep outside for all he cares. He just doesn't want them around his kids anymore. Bruce knows they've all questioned their place in the family, and he's not about to let it happen now. There are no words to describe the amount of sadness and anger he feels at the moment.
And maybe Thomas and Martha take too long to leave or they try to argue, so he just gathers up all his kids and takes them somewhere else. He has Alfred deal with them. He loves his parents truly he does, and he missed them like crazy but also, those are his babies. Eventually, Bruce realizes that his love for his parents is no match for the amount of love he has for the family he's built on his own.

This is so poorly written, omg but I had to get this out before I forgot 💔 It's almost 5 a.m. and I have hip pain, so go easy on me. I also definitely mischaractized everyone, but I don't even care anymore 😓 I'm so tired

I never had a fixed design for the Batfamily so here it is now.
I love what I did and if you don't.... well ok then.
I didnt change Tim a whole lot except his outfit because I thought he was perfect already. And his uniform might be my favorite of all of them.
And I added a little color in Steph's hair because why the hell not!
