Love Salads especially #dairyfree Caesar Salad dressing on my #coslettuce here is our recipe #CaesarSalad dressing ⅓ cup raw cashews 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast 1 teaspoon whole chia seeds ½ - 1 teaspoon kelp powder (optional) 1 teaspoon capers 1 garlic clove ½ cup unsweetened plant-based milk (almond milk or soy milk) 2 tablespoon lemon juice 1½ teaspoon maple syrup ½ teaspoon sea salt, or to taste ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, or to taste Place the cashews into a bowl and cover with water. Let soak for a few hours, or overnight. To make the Caesar dressing, drain and blend together the cashews, nutritional yeast, whole chia seeds, kelp powder, capers, garlic, plant-based milk, lemon juice, salt, maple syrup, salt and pepper until you reach a really smooth consistency. Serve tossed into romaine lettuce, along with your choice of croutons and any other salads you like.
