Hi my Oblivion OC's name is Alaurne and she sucks at magic and is scared of horses and got Martin hooked on trashy romance novels. Someday I might actually work on my fic and people can meet her properly lol

Alaurne knows the following things: fabric, admin work, and hit things with mace. She's an administrative clerk for the Fighter's Guild and her parents/brother are luxury textile traders in Morrowind. She can keep herself alive with a shortsword if she has to, she doesn't like apples, and despite living in Cyrodill for over two decades, she doesn't really know anything about the Empire or humans.

Alaurne isn't stupid, but her knowledge base is not super suitable for the quest the Emperor puts her on and she's going to need a lot of help to end the Crisis. I love stories about the unlikely hero who singlehandedly saves the day (like the actual game), but the story I want to write I think will end up being more of an exploration into the importance of community and working together to solve problems. I have exactly one chapter written so far lol

I dunno where this anti-ceiling light movement came from. least relatable meme of recent years. like I actually like being able to see stuff clearly?
