not to get political™ but if i was a company making an official english version of a visual novel and that visual novel had fun little extras after beating the game, like idk.....recorded messages from the cast members talking about their role and the game, i personally would translate those too and have English subtitles for them, instead of just leaving them completely untranslated. yknow in my official english release? yeah i wouldn't leave something like that totally untranslated.

as a side note if i was making an official English translation for my visual novel i would make sure it like yknow.......makes any sense whatsoever. and doesn't require you to use a ported patch for the original ps2 version of the game to understand what's going on.

so was anybody gonna talk about the new ecology paper proposing Ethiopian wolves as potential pollinators of native nectar-rich flower inflorescences positioned on stalks conveniently within wolf enjoying height AND that it includes photos of said wolves doing said unconfirmed alleged pollination (delightful) AND that it has observational evidence suggesting some wolves do like 1 flower and are done and other wolves just get really into it and spend upwards of an hour going between 20 and 30 flowers for up to 4-5 minutes per cluster just utterly going at it, lost in the nectar sauce? because I cannot BELIEVE I haven’t seen something on this webbed site about it yet. it just has everything this site enjoys

actually i think it'd be really funny if cynthia investigates this and finds sophocles and penny at the center of this operation and when asked they're like "yeah cyrus lets us use his phone and socials we don't even have to work hard to make the content he just says stuff throughout the day and we post it" and to prove it they go to cyrus room and overhear him talking to himself

cyrus is a cult leader in all but name so i think having him brought to a livestream would be hilarious because i imagine iono would try to do her talk show host style stuff with him and he'd randomly jump between the most genuinely painful to hear self depreciation + nihilism combo and like a professional breakdown of physics and mythology and how it turns out the effervescent rotom has existed long before technology and as a Content Farmer she'd further push the envelope about it so he says some truly bizarre stuff

The thing about dog temperaments is, labradors are playful and happy-go-lucky kind of creatures that don't really take anything too seriously, they're just jolly and mushy, cheerful creatures that are chill with everyone and eager to please. Poodles, however, have zero chill, highly intelligent, need a job to do or they will invent one, take everything dead seriously and are the only dog in the "top 10 dogs most likely to fight god" list that isn't a terrier.

And now, it may seem tempting to think "hey what if we could get a dog that's as chill and cheery as a labrador but as dutiful and law-abiding as a poodle." Just like it was tempting to think "hey what if we could get a bee that's as honey-productive as an african killer bee, but human friendly like domestic bees?"
