I got fully moved in yesterday, not that I had much to unpack. My roommates name is Carter I think, and he seems nice. Definitely a more outgoing guy though, kinda seems like the average business course student, not that I don’t like him. He hasn’t bothered me to much other then saying hi while I was moving in, which I appreciated. We talked a little about room rules, not a lot. I was the one who gave most of the suggestions, which worries me a little. Thats about it for now. I’m hoping that my classes will be ok, they start tomorrow. I don’t think I’ve written down the classes I want to take. I’ll do that here.

this is kinda venty but I’m freaking the fuck out right now. So I’m on vacation with my parents and my grandma and we were on this buggy touring around, my parents were sitting behind me and my grandma was sitting next to me, and instead of saying my name, or tapping me, she grabbed my face a turned me to face her, like this v continue

And then made fun of me for not smiling because she was turning me to face her face for a picture. I’ve never been grabbed like that by anyone accept my dad, who was abusive. I felt so fucking dirty after that, like physically but also like she’d like, tainted me or something idk. But I didn’t like it but I didn’t say anything cause other people were around. And when we got off, my mom tried to grab my hand cause I don’t like crossing the street without doing that, and when I flinched away she backed off. I said I was going to the bathroom, but my grandma went to. I didn’t need to use the bathroom I just wanted to wash my face because I felt dirty and gross. She came in and so I walked out and found mom again and we walked for a bit. Then we went to go do another activity, and we drove about 5 minutes to another place, but we were early and it was hot so we said we would stay in the car, but my parents sat up front and my grandma was next to me while I was having a panic attack, and so I asked to go to the gas station we passed to get snacks. My parents said yes and my grandma stayed back to get the tickets for the activity. When we got to the gas station my stepdad stayed in the car and me and mom went in. She said that she was sorry I was upset and that she recognized I was wanting to stress eat. I was still having my panic attack and said that of course I was upset my grandma had literally grabbed my face instead of saying my name or tapping me or something. My mom said that she saw my discomfort when it happened, and said that it was very mature of me to have not yelled at her. And because I’m still freaking out I said I should have, and she said that wasn’t the right thing to do. She went on to say that my grandma is just old and doesn’t understand how that could be upsetting, and when I said she needed to learn boundaries, my mom gave me a look and told me to drop it. I hate being touched by adults in any context other then my mother, or if I initiate contact. And because of all this I’m realizing that my mom hasn’t done anything to defend me in any way. I have a very low social battery even with people I am super comfortable with, and my mom will get me out of social situations because of it. But she never does anything else to help me. She knows I’ve struggled with arfid my whole life and never defends me and just says I’m different about my diet, and lets other bully me for it and tell me to get over it. She also doesn’t help when people are deadnaming me and misgendering me even though I’ve told her to do that for me and she agreed because I’m always to scared to correct people. She never defends me about my interests or hobbies, even though some of my family have literally said that because I’m into true crime and horror media and gore that I would’ve supported people like Ted Bundy and John Gasey. And she always says that she will defend me and that she will let me have space, but she barely ever does. I admired her last week for yelling at some maga fuck, and now I’m just so angry and confused. She also didn’t help me when I family member saw my s/h scars, and asked about it, even though she knows I’m super sensitive about talking about my depression with adults. My grandma also just doesn’t respect my privacy above a base level that reserved for pets basically, makes really odd jokes and laughs when I don’t get them because I’m autistic and very tone deff, which she knows, and that I’m just not a social person when it comes to adults. I’m leaving to go back home tomorrow thankfully, and idk if I’m being over dramatic or not, but someone please tell me if I am

Heyy, do you have any inclinations or headcanons about who the Winters’ (Ethan, Mia and Rosemary) might be as people? Like how they act in normal life? We mostly see them under duress during the game play, so I feel like I can’t get a good grasp of their characters, especially Mia.

Yes! I have many headcannons about this kinda stuff. We have to think about the timeline a little cause how everyone acts along the story changes, so I’ll probably do a few of these, and post the links in the comments for this one if it helps!

There’s shown to be a lot of wine in the house that Chris moved the Winters. I think Mia was the one who drank wine more before the events of the Baker Incident simply because she had a stressful job working for a bioterrorist group, and couldn’t tell Ethan about it. After the events of the Baker Incident I think Ethan started drinking more.

Ethan was some sort of computer scientist I think, so I think a lot of Mia’s computer based problems would just be solved by the power of husband.

Ethan and Mia seemed ok with a short term long distance relationship, Ethan being understanding of her need to travel for her job and not asking questions.

Ethan trusts Mia with his whole heart and doesn’t feel the need to ask her tons of questions. Mia is a very extroverted person from how we see her message to Ethan, and Ethan seems to be also be extroverted from the lines from Chris about them being friends.

I think Mia would either love or hate flowers. No there’s no reason.

After Mia’s disappearance I think Ethan tried to do as much research on the ship she was on as he could, obviously not finding a lot out considering how secret the mission was.

I think Mia would feel very uncomfortable at Rose calling her mom with how she responding with how Eveline was, especially after the whole ‘ur baby’s a super powered mold god’

This is honestly making me want to do a deep dive on Mia’s character and her relationship with Ethan, kinda of like my comparison of 7 and 8 through the eyes of Ethan’s trauma, which I am working on rn btw.
