This morning I woke up bloated from last night's ice cream + burger, yet never felt so confident in my own skin.. Had this been the situation a year ago, I would have forced herself on to the stairs and treadmill for well over an hour because of the guilty conscience of a binge. Today? I skipped the gym, put on work out clothes and took a causal walk at a local park with my sister. In no way am I knocking people who can abide to a specific meal plan and be content, in fact I praise them. It takes a strong amount of self discipline and dedication to do so. However, it's not the only lifestyle to achieve goals. Am I the leanest I've ever been? Absolutely not. Am I okay with that? I couldn't be happier. Though my abs may no longer shred through, my happiness outshines any muscle definition. Embrace the fact that we all have different fitness goals, and empower each other to accomplish what each person desires. But do not knock one persons method versus your own, you never know an individual's story or past.
