Back to the Future
This was meant to be done in time for @tolkientimewarp Day 5 (Family and Friends) but it got SO LONG because things kept happening. But I finished it in time before the end of the event! Here's a snippet:
“He found us,” said Maitimo, pointing past Fëanáro’s shoulder, “and he kept the monsters from eating us.” Fëanáro scooped up both children so that they were tight in his arms, then turned to face the other elf. “You have my thanks,” he said, and he meant it with all of his heart. “A star shines upon our meeting,” he said, giving him a friendly smile and a small bow. Fëanáro guessed that he was no more than eighty years old. Did his parents know he was wandering these dangerous woods? “I am happy to have been nearby. But who are you, stranger, and how did you come to these woods? Your clothing does not look like that any of the clans I know of would wear. Are you new to these parts?” “In a way,” said Fëanáro. Now that panic had not overtaken his thoughts, he was able to study the stranger. He wore a tunic and pants made of rough linen, with his long hair tied back and a leather pouch hanging from his waist. A piece of quartz had been fashioned into a pendant and dangled around his neck, but other than that he wore no jewelry. Still, there was something almost familiar about him: dark hair and dark eyed, with the wiry long limbs of someone who had not yet finished growing. No light shone in his eyes. Instead they were as deep and dark as a pool of ink, with no glimmer of the Two Trees reflected within them. He looked, in a strange way, like an older version of Makalaurë, or a younger version of - “Finwë?” “Yes?” The child - the child version of Fëanáro’s father - looked up at him. “I’m sorry, have we met before?”

He wakes in Valinor, and at first he thinks he is reborn. But he remembers dying fresh as his own undried blood, and he does not remember his soul flying to Mandos. And outside, the Two Trees shine. Something is wrong.

Birds of Prey
It starts with dying in each other's arms. By an ill-meaning but fortuitous curse, two fair princes are granted another chance to reshape the fate of Beleriand as it unfolds. Will Celegorm and Dior be able to leave past grievances in the future they hope to undo? Including (but not limited to): "Foresight" at its finest, a contentious canine custody case, and unruly flocks of gossips.
The result of a journey to find the best-worst Time Travel Duo for @tolkientimewarp. Things spiraled from there. (M, multichapter WIP)

“If none can release us,” said Maedhros, “then indeed the Everlasting Darkness shall be our lot, whether we keep our oath or break it; but less evil shall we do in the breaking.”
Yet Maglor yielded at last to the will of Maedhros, and they submitted. The Elves set sail for Valinor.
On the last march, Maglor said to Maedhros, “ Two Silmarils remain, and one is mine.”
He stole it, and flied, but it burned him so that he knew he no longer had a right to it. He wandered in pain over the earth, and cast himself into a pit.

Ilúvatar, please, it’s all my fault…take me instead, not Maglor.
“You are the High King now. We have already lost two kings; we cannot let you take such a risk.”
“It is the wisest arrangement to let Kanafinwë go, to be on the safe side.”
He has his part in the music.
“What kind of brother and what kind of king would push his own brother toward danger rather than facing it himself?”
No, it shouldn’t be like this. Maybe it was me playing out of time, and he covered up. My mistake has utterly ruined him.
One change is granted to you; yet beware, for Maglor is a mighty singer. Alter the tune, and he will reshape his own to meet yours, binding the music in harmony.
Then Maedhros the tall, the eldest son, persuaded his brothers to feign to treat with Morgoth, and to meet his emissaries at the place appointed.

DAY 6: Eldritch
Tolkien Time Warp-Lost and Found
After stealing two Silmarils, Maglor had a feeling that Maedhros, having lost his purpose, might be suicidal. Therefore, Maglor took two Silmarils and fled (one casted into a pit, one remained with him), but somehow ended up switching places with young Makalaurë who had run away from home.
Makalaurë : Ammë is having a baby and Atar has been in the room with her for days, but they won't let Laurë in. And, Maitimo said Laurë can't go out with him. Nobody wants Laurë anymore!
Maedhros: …
Makalaurë: Maitimo is very very bad!!! He wants to abandon Laurë too!!!
Maedhros: …Yes… he is…
Makalaurë: Maitimo is a big idiot!!! Big Big Big IDIOT!!!
Maedhros: Yes, he is.

Maitimo: I can’t understand…Why did Makalaurë run away?
Maglor: …He didn't have the courage to face the feeling of being abandoned. He wants to be found and…Please…Maitimo…Don't leave me alone …

A Tangle in Time
Written for @tolkientimewarp Day 2: Changing Eras, enjoy this little fic about Sauron messing up and accidentally bringing a tortured Celebrimbor into the Year of the Trees. Here's a snippet:
And then - And then there is a twisting, a shifting, a strange warping of his soul that is both painful and not. Celebrimbor cannot find the words to describe it. Then he blinks and the world around him has changed. Cool, bathed in golden light, with air that smells clean. There are tools hung up neatly on racks on the walls. There is a table, covered in papers and a stack of used teacups. There is something familiar about it all, so familiar it makes Celebrimbor’s heart ache. It is - It is a forge. His grandfather’s forge. Sauron spits out a curse. Celebrimbor takes some satisfaction in knowing that, whatever has happened, the Maia’s plans have gone wrong. With fingers covered in Celebrimbor’s blood, Sauron reaches out again for the Unseen Realm. The door opens. Celebrimbor uses what little strength he has to turn his head. Sees Curufin and Fëanor take a step inside the forge and freeze.
