Successful violation fee collections are paid partially to the one who suffered the violation, which in many cases exceeds a year of work at these shit jobs. There's only two weak points to a corporation, and those are in the budget and in the supply chain. Hit them where it hurts.

Actually I will make a post about this. Please spell hawai‘i properly, with the ‘okina, which is a glottal stop that changes the pronunciation of a word! The ‘okina looks like a backwards apostrophe and sounds like a hiccup. There are other hawaiian words that are commonly spelled without the ‘okina, like the name of the island lāna‘i, but retaining the proper spelling and making an effort to pronounce hawaiian words properly helps preserve the hawaiian ‘ōlelo :)

Hey there guys. It’s me, in 2022, commenting on this post from 2016. There’s been a lot of people on this site lately being like “oooh no don’t make viral uwu I’m so pathetic, little, and defenseless and my poor notifications can’t handle 10k reblogs” well first of all ALL of us are pathetic, little, and defenseless and secondly none of our notifications can handle 10k reblogs and thirdly I’m not a coward and I think this should have a million notes. Not because of its own merit as a post, I just think it’d be funny if when I turn 30 this year and I reflect on the greatest accomplishments of my life thus far, I have to at least consider putting “famous tumblr popcorn post” on the list

Now that I actually have a comfortable amount of money, I can say that it does indeed buy happiness. The guilt free occasional food delivery, being able to afford going out w friends, buying something that makes life easier, health appointments!, hiring a service. Y'ALL THEY LIED

They really did though. There's so much.

Helping a friend in need without worrying about if they can pay you back before your next paycheck. Short-notice travel in emergencies. Replacing things when they break instead of either trying to tape them back together for 50% function or going without. Heck, being able to buy better-quality things that don't break within the year. Taking a day off without destroying your budget (though if you're making better money you probably have paid time off, don't get me started). Getting out of slumlord rentals. Hobbies!! (Seems small until you don't have time or money or energy just for playing and having fun.)

There's a point at which additional money stops buying more happiness, which is where rich people are at, so I think it's our responsibility as a society to relieve them of that oppressive extra wealth and redistribute it to people who would be made happy.
