If county-A has a population of 50 voters but no prisons, and county-B has a population of 50 voters and 50 prisoners, the county with the prisoners gets more government funding and more political represention. This is sometimes called “prison gerrymandering” and it is used in redistrictring.

The concept of nonbinary that white people have is not the same concept brown and black people have of nonbinary.

I have limited spoons still but. White people so often use cultural genders solely to validate their existence as a white nonbinary person. And like I get it, but if you are a white nonbinary person, that is not the same as cultural genders or relationships to gender that black and brown people have. And the examples you using aren’t nonbinary, they’re 3rd genders or cultural genders that are not the same as the nonbinary found in people raised with the gender binary. They’re not equivalent, nor do they translate in whiteness.

And also, just fucking like, respect and care about nonbinary people of color and people with cultural genders instead of just using them as an argument piece. And dont fucking judge them for not fitting into neat white labels and ideals, I’m fucking tired of seeing white nonbinary people use cultural genders as examples to validate white nonbinary people, then turn around and shit on those same black and brown people for not fitting into their white nonbinary ideal.
