My Twitch channel Adiamaea has been livestreaming, and the recorded livestreams go on Adiamaea on YouTube. We’re moving to Albania soon so I’m stopping livestreams for now so I can get through boxes.

My other livestream from Adiamaea is my Roblox Game project to use vibe coding to create a game based on my book, Adia, Scientist.

DannisPetChannel is cute vids of our 2 5 year old cats and a few backyard wildlife encounters.

DannisCole is a few videos about my job experiences and my job hunt for remote work.

Once we get this move out of our way, I plan to get more vids up. Our relatives know about IndigentExpat now, so I don’t have to keep mum about that channel any more.

Today I Lost My Friend, a poem #poetry #sad #grief #cat #rainbowbridge

2025-09-19 Today we had to say goodbye to our old friend of 13 years. Later, I'll do a tribute to her with all the videos I haven't posted yet. This is dedicated to all who've lost a pet. If you never had to decide your pet's life or death, this next video might be helpful.

Corene couldn't keep food down Wednesday. We were worried, but sometimes she has a bout. She had been showing signs of senility and missing the cat box more and more.

Thursday, she was still not able to eat and stopped drinking water. By last night, Thursday night, she was lethargic and when she walked, her back legs were stiff. That's how Leyla was at the end. So we planned to go to the vet the next morning. We're insomniacs, so we were late calling, after 1 pm on a Friday.

My poor daughter forgot her purse, so we were halfway to LaFayette before having to turn around and get it.

Corene wasn't happy about the car trip or the heat because our air conditioning doesn't work. But she made it through.

I didn't record the actual shot, but the vet was caring and everyone on the staff of Main Street Veterinary Clinic in LaFayette, Georgia were respectful of Corene, even taking her away after we said goodbye. The poor vet tech was crying in her car when we came out. That's how sensitive and caring this staff were to us, strangers to their clinic! Corene's life touched a lot of people today. We lost our beloved kitty, but all of them lost their patient!

Our vet couldn't see us because she had a surgery scheduled and farm visits after that. She must've felt terrible not to be able to fit us in at Summerville Veterinary Clinic. But the staff there went above and beyond in helping us, even as far as calling around to other clinics until they found one to send us to.

We went to the wrong place at Fayetteville Veterinary Clinic, but even they pointed us in the right direction to Main Street, only 2 miles away. Their staff knew where to send us. They were also kind and caring.

But, I can't say enough to thank all of these 3 veterinary clinics' staff, who respected our wish that we end our Corene's suffering today and not Monday. I might add, their offices were very busy, yet they took time to help us.

We were, frankly, surprised that Corene made it to 13. Her sister passed away at only 9. Torties don't live as long as other-colored cats, and there's still research going on to figure out why.

She began life on a farm. That farmer in Bluffton, GA found a kitten on the side of the road in nearby Alabama while visiting a relative. That kitten never learned how to catch mice, but her daughter did! That feral daughter had the litter that gave us Leyla and Corene, at 5 weeks. The farmer had a rat explosion, then a cat explosion, so he put a notice up at Cuthbert Critter Care. We decided to adopt 2.

When he brought the twins, he apologized for bringing us the 2 ugliest kittens. We thought they were beautiful! Torties are sweet-natured, quirky, and loving. They snared our hearts from the first moment when we put them in the crate in the back of my car.

We're grateful to have Belle and Fiona to comfort us. They are 5 and hopefully will live a long life with us.

Today I'm changing our DannisPetChannel logo, but Corene's playlist will remain where it is. We'll always remember her for becoming the vocal one when we lost her sister, picking up all our pets' habits good and bad, and stealing our spoons and forks from the dish drainer.

What I've Been Dealing WithI formatted my C: drive, then I had password troubles, and during that, I migrated from Capacities back to Obsidian. It's been a crazy month! Here's my chats with #CoPilot about migrating. I wanted to connect a local AI to Obsidian and Capacities doesn't let you.🗂️ Can You Drag the Folders into Obsidian? ✅ What You Can Do - Drag and drop folders directly into your Obsidian vault (e.g., `C:\Obsidian`). - Obsidian will recognize `.md` (Markdown) files and folders immediately. - Folder structure will be preserved, and links between notes (if they’re in standard Markdown format) should still work. ⚠️ - Non-Markdown files (like `.json`, `.png`, `.pdf`) will be imported but not rendered as notes. You can still link to or embed them. - Internal links from Capacities might use a different format (e.g., `[[Note Title]]` vs. `[[note-title]]`). I decided to go with my background I did in VUE 2024 and made some changes, adding some highlight on the cowgirl and facial features on my cartoon. Keep in mind that AI generated art is unusable on your book cover. It’s not copyrightable. So if you use AI to generate art, it’s great for a blog post, a YouTube video, or something that’s not going to directly make you money. But if you work with a publisher, there’s that checkbox that makes you legally certify that you have or have not used AI to generate your work, including the cover. I never use AI to generate artwork for a book cover unless I’m willing to spend hours in GIMP altering it to my art style.

However, the thrill it gives you to see that scene in your mind come to life is a great feeling! I recommend using AI art to visualize your scene while writing it, to help you describe it better. And, if you want to blog about it, there’s your visual to go along with your post! Just look carefully at your AI generated graphic to make sure your character doesn’t have 6 fingers or added details you didn’t want.

For example, the interior added an arch in the left wall and a square window to the back wall. I specified one square window and one rectangular door, and they showed with the door on the front, and the window on the left, which would not have shown in the interior pictures. The one that showed the blue obsidian tray added another tabletop on the floor, which wasn’t what I wanted, either. The countertop provided is too crowded to roll out dough or hold the obsidian tray. The adobe oven showed in the final outside picture, but is too small. I write about them being as tall as the trader (average height 5′5″ and stocky].

The adobe oven is in the right place, but tiny and without the obsidian door.

The trader is perfect. The only thing to add is the Tessite trim on his robe’s borders. Tessite looks like gold, but it makes a person strong while he’s near it. Unfortunately, once he waved his fine robes into his alt storage in his pocket coin terminal, he’s going to feel very weak. He better be lying on his straw when he does it!

In my description I tried to get the man-sized adobe oven, but the longer your convo with the AI goes on, the more it hallucinates and the quality degrades. I was tired, so I didn’t start a new convo and all the explanations again. But when you start a new convo you can provide the best render and tell it what you want changed.

I could have provided the AI with a graphic I created in VUE 2016, but I didn’t. It’s probably already scanned into everyone’s AI because I’ve posted my artwork online, but just in case, I really don’t want to feed my artwork into a public AI. I’m looking into adding art tools to my personal AI. All the ones so far have to use an online generator because my PC is not powerful enough.

Offline uses of AI I’m looking into that keep my work local on my machine are, tying AI to my Obsidian notes, connecting AI to LibreOffice, using an addon to connect yWriter’s character, item and location forms to LibreOffice, which I can suck into Obsidian, all sorts of ways to use my personal, local AI to search my notes for me and help me organize my writer mess into productive goals and record what works.
