(i remember the description of her flying leather armor was so cool it immediately reminded me of the witch king in lotr so ofc i had to include her helmet in the drawing)

the way that this scene was the hardest i sobbed in the entire the series, manon and the 13 were def my absolute fav sideplot i love them sm,, ain’t no one understand character development like my queen of the witches 😔✊🏼 (yeah i made two versions cuz i liked the red flush matching her red hair tie but alsoo her blood is technically blue so the second one might be more “lore accurate” or whatevs)

the second i read the scene where aelin and rowan kiss and she gives them their fire crowns for the first time (after aelin burned up all the ilkin flying to the marshes *in one blast*) i knew it needed to be drawn immediately
