Terry Crews came out and admitted he had been sexually assulted by someone in the film industry, and is now being blacklisted. I have been a fan of his since Idiocracy, and will continue to support all of his work.

So when you wonder why people don’t come forward with their assults, this is why.

This misses the really powerful piece of the story: Terry Crews was the one who chose not to do the movie. One of the producers told him, essentially, that he could either do the movie and be drop the sexual assault charges, or continue with the trial and have “troubles”. Terry dropped out because he felt standing against abusers was more important than his film career.

It’s bullshit that he was threatened in the first place, of course, but his response was ballsy. I admire him for it.

Hi friend! Fun fact! The human body can only absorb one liter of water per hour, and not all at once! Likely the reason you’re peeing so much is because you’re taking in too much water at a time, so your body just flushes it through your system as opposed to absorbing it. A good rule is ¼ liter every 15 minutes. Don’t get me wrong, there are definitely times that I want to (and will) glug a whole liter like it’s nothing, but steady hydration throughout the day is key! -Your friendly local wilderness first responder who rehydrates people for their job :)

If you are in a massive heatwave water is not enough.

Over-hydration like the OP is talking about is a problem.

Drinking too much plain water while sweating can cause a serious problem called hyponatremia.

The symptoms are very similar to heat exhaustion - nausea, headache, confusion, fatigue, restlessness, muscle cramping. In extreme cases it can cause seizures or put you in a coma and it can be life threatening.

Hyponatremia is caused by too much fluid and too little sodium. You’re particularly at risk if working out or doing physical labor outside in the heat. Basically, your body loses water and sodium when you sweat, and many people only replace the water.

You prevent it by making dang sure you also replace the sodium. You do this by:

Drinking sports drinks (diluted 50/50 is best).

Adding electrolyte packages to your water bottle

Not drinking until you are actually thirsty

Eating something high in salt. Potato chips! Eat a bag of potato chips.
