The woman is wearing a fancy shawl, a modern contemporary type of regalia used for competitive dancing (though some don't compete). It is not unique to a specific tribe. There are several origins stories to the dance but the damce itself includes a fast pace beat where the dancer spreads her arms with the shawl and has to touch the ground with at least one foot for every beat. It is very tiring and takes a while to learn. It is one of the dances practiced amongst many tribes in the US and Canada.

The man is wearing grass dance regalia, a dance I believe originated from the plains region. Like the fancy shawl dance it includes a very fast pace and the dancer has to touch the ground with every drum beat. It is also a dance that is practiced among many tribws in the US and Canada.The color red is sacred to many tribes so you can't make a distinction on that.

The teepee in the background gives the impression that they are from a plains nation though they could also be visitors from another region.

“I’m a disabled veteran. I was a combat medic. Due to my service connected injuries, I was told I’d never have children. My daughter was born 11/11/88. Veterans Day . Her father was murdered. When she was 12. It happened in our home. We lost our home that year. Due too ptsd issues, I ended up in the VA hospital for the next 3yrs. My Aunt who raised me took care of my daughter. My own mother died when I was a teenager. My Aunt left her home to my daughter. My daughter is already residing in the home. Because it has not finished going through probate therefore it’s not in either of our names. The state is charging her full taxes on the house totaling close to $5,500. The state is planning on auctioning off the house if we cant pay this by May 1st. . I’m asking for help so that we can keep the roof over our heads. Please if anyone can help in these hard times I’m praying. Also all prayers are welcomed. Thank you for reading my story.”

honestly tho that scene in the incredibles where mr. incredible sees the names of all the old super heroes that used to be his friends / that he knew from Back in the Day and how every one of them has been killed by syndrome is such a chilling scene for so many reasons 

like for one, everyone he knew is dead at this point and has been killed on the same island he’s at now and two, its heartbreaking bc that means that almost every hero wanted to try out being a hero again despite the laws against it and wanted to try and help someone out and relive their glory days, only to be straight up murdered like fuck that scene is just so fuckin intense

One thing that shook me was how well it was planned out by Syndrome and how it was specifically done to keep Mr Incredible in the dark until the right moment.

For example, Frozone's location was known but he wasn't targeted by Syndrome. Why? Because Frozone and Mr Incredible were best friends and if Frozone went missing especially after the disappearance of Gazerbeam, he definitely would have noticed something was up.

Syndrome specifically targeted the supers in a specific order, sparing those that were close to Mr Incredible in order to keep the secrecy.

That is terrifyingly genius.
