Why do people still say âthis doesnât fit my blog theme but I had to reblog anywayâ? Itâs almost 2018. Who gives a fuck. Who even has a coherent blog anymore
Reblog if youâve never had a coherent blog and got no intention of starting that shit now
AU: Sokka died too young.
Never before has an animalâs face so clearly expressed âYou think youâre hilarious, donât you?â
Strange phenomenon Iâve noticed is that trans positive cis men tend to be more pro-trans than trans positive cis women. Like cis women donât really know how to interact with me and tend to skirt around my transness even if theyâre not transphobic while pro-trans cis men will go out of their way to include me and hype up my masculinity without making it too obvious. Shame the ratio is like 1/5

Having a traumatic childhood means you cannot talk even objectively about your basic foundational experiences without it being "venting", even if you're not actually venting. You just straight up have a huge chunk of your life you can't talk about, full stop, without it being trauma dumping.
And it not being socially acceptable to talk about your own childhood is super alienating. Sometimes people want to know why, and any answer you can give them is going to be off putting.
It's to the point I get irritated when something I said is framed as venting when I'm literally just talking about my life experiences, doing my best to keep emotion out of it.
when I was in high school, I overheard two older students talking about a friend of theirs.
One of them said something like, "it doesn't bother me that [Friend] was in residential mental health treatment, I just wish they wouldn't talk about it ALL the time".
The other replied, "Well, that was all of last year for them. So when they say 'when I was in treatment,' it's like when you say 'last year'."
I try to remember that any time someone says something that sounds Shocking to me. sometimes one person's scary special crisis is another person's last year.
If you want to be accepting of mental illness, you need to accept the fact that some people's everyday lives are going to be terrifying to you. That doesn't mean they don't get to talk about it. Stop forcing hurt, isolated people to become even MORE hurt and isolated because you can't fathom toughening up a bit.
Pros of showering:

Cons of showering:

india is not a democracy anymore.
everyone needs to hear about the situation in india right now. the youth of this nation are going through hell and back to protect the foundations that our country was built on in the first place, while the adults who are supposed to actually be in charge try to silence our voices.
NEET, which is an exam taken by millions of students per year and is the ONLY gateway for medical admissions across the country, had its papers leaked. so many took their lives because this exam meant everything for their future. and NTA, the agency who conducts this exam, was not held accountable.
there was national backlash. cockroach janta party (initially a satirical political party formed by abhijeet dipke in retaliation to the remarks of the chief justice of india calling the youth "cockroaches" and "parasites of society") started protests at jantar mantar, demanding the resignation of the union education minister, dharmendra pradhan. the movement also asked for ten million inr (~100,000 usd) in compensation for the families of students who died by suicide and wanted NTA be held accountable.
sonam wangchuk, a climate activist and education reformer, also went on a hunger strike at jantar mantar to protest against this corruption in india's higher education system. his fast began on june 28, demanding the resignation of the union education minister. his fast lasted for 20 days until delhi police FORCIBLY removed him and admitted him to safdarjung hospital on july 18.
because of this, cockroach janta party announced "chalo sansad," a march to the parliament beginning on june 20th, 9:00 am ist. but the police seems to be responding with water cannons, mobile jammers, and baton charge. all of this, because of a peaceful protest led by people no older than 30.
and yet there has been absolutely no indian media coverage about a movement that spans the entirety of this nation. so, please, if you see this, keep talking about us. we will not let those old bastards stoop any lower than they've already had. we will not let them ruin our country any further. we will not be silenced
Please look it up. Students have been beaten bloody. Theyâre using electrified batons. Theyâre using batons with nails hammered in. Theyâre dragging people off and locking them up for no reason. People are being beaten, assaulted, and even molested by the police.
The government is doing everything it can except for actually having an honest dialogue with the protestors.
Itâs important to note that despite all the police brutality, despite how the government has had extra forces airlifted to Delhi to help quash the protest, this has deterred no one.
Not only is the protest in Delhi going strong, the government closed down every metro station in Central Delhi in an effort to stop them and it still hasnât.
Thereâs protests in most major cities in India in solidarity. Palakkad, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kochi, and probably more besides. There has been a protest in the UK as well in solidarity.
People who arenât at the protest are donating so much food that the organisers have had to ask them to stop doing so because thereâs more than enough. In lieu of that people are donating money for medicine, lawyers, cleanup, and umbrellas.
Most crucially, hopes arenât broken. Spirits arenât broken. People with bruises and broken bones are still showing up. People are showing up cosplaying as freedom fighters and super heroes and a dinosaur. People are doxxing goons who show up trying to incite violence. People are making reels. People in Mumbai literally opened a moving police detainment van to allow arrested students to escape.
*all links lead to Instagram posts or reels showing the same. Almost every major Indian news network has been bought and either ignores the protests or depicts them unfairly. All honest news comes from people on the ground and smaller independent news outlets.
reblog this post with the colour you associate with prev and why!

Tax is green to me, like a slightly dark green if that makes sense? Not too sure in all honesty, maybe the icon makes me associated green with you?
@mystic-menagerie, @sardonyx-x3, @megamad64, @delta-hexagon and anyone else!
Ooooo you're like. A very bright, neon orange. The kind you might see in strobe lights. Also you'd probably rhythmically flash, too.

You're like sky blue to me. Not midsummer sky blue when itâs super intense, more like morning when itâs a slightly paler blue. Kinda like this blue.
I donât normally do tag games but this one was easy because you are actually a colour to me lmao. Anyways I gotta tag people now soooâŚ

sorry if any of you have already been tagged in this lol
To me you are green, like a darker mossgreen or maybe even a grassstain. Very nature like, maybe a little because of your icon and because you spend so much time outside
