here in brazil we have a show (it's actually on netflix) that's called 'ilhados com a sogra', that is pretty much a show where mothers-in-law and their sons/daughters-in-law spend like, a week trapped in an island having to work together on some games

and i just started thinking about how the marauders would deal their mothers-in-law, and honestly, here it is:

. regulus and effie would win. that's not even negotiable, effie and reggie would control the entire game, they're the perfect mother-in-law and son-in-law duo

. sirius and hope lupin would be... cute and soft, they get along well, but i don't think they would win, 'cause sirius might be competitive, but i don't feel like hope would? they WOULD be the most gossinp duo, though, they'd hear absolutely all the tea

. on the other hand, james and remus wouldn't participate. walburga would never

. i feel like marlene would be too distracted telling her mother-in-law how much she loves dorcas, and would forget the actual games (she wants to win mrs. meadowes' approval)

. lily and mary would be in second and third place each

. evan wouldn't participate either

. barty would kill his mother-in-law (not literally, but maybe...), they'd hate each other, and they'd have to be expelled from the show

. pandora would be the host actually, or the family therapist

. i hc peter as aroace, so i think he wouldn't have a partner. he'd be watching though (cheering for regulus and effie, but he loves sirius and hope as well)

. alice would be arguing with her mother-in-law every second

. ted wouldn't participate either

. rita would either beat up her mother-in-law or get beaten up by her, no in-between

anyway, the show is awesome and so silly actually, i just think it's funny to think about the marauders and their mothers-in-law

i'm watching a show called achtsam morden (murder mindfully, if i'm not wrong?) and it has SUCH a rosekiller vibe

like, let me pull it out here for ya'll:

evan rosier is a lawyer who works in a small company and mostly defends some weird people who work for the mafia. he spends most of his time working, but he also has to look after his little niece, luna, ever since she lost her father.

but his work/life balance is terrible, so he starts doing the mindfulness thing. he improves really fast, spends more time with his sister and niece, stands up to his dad, all in all, his life gets better!

until the mafia boss he works for starts to get tailed by the police, and evan is supposed to help him out of town, so he stuffs the guy inside of his trunk and just... leaves him there.

but here's where things get interesting. without the boss, evan, who speaks for him, starts to secretly get the entire operation for himself. and does that with the help of the boss' former handyman, barty. barty's father is a politician, and has no idea his son is literal mafia, so barty has access to all things they could possibly need.

when they need to get rid of a body, they get rid of it. if they need to commit crimes against the state, they do it together. they become absolutely inseparable (bonus if pandora helps them with some stuff, too)

feel it like... romcom meets dexter type of vibe. evan and barty flirting as they have a guy locked up, in the middle of blackmailing the hell out of him. evan and barty on a romantic date (they're burrying a body). evan and barty- i think you catch the drift.

regulus black is a neck biter

james potter is a shoulder biter

they are both back scratchers

i'm back with my nonsense! today i offer you:

nobleflower x bridgerton

arranged marriage, friends to lovers, slowburn, belated love epiphany

narcissa starts the story already promised to lucius malfoy after her two older sisters went through terrible scandals (andromeda ran off to marry ted, who isn't from society, and bella ran off with rita)

she meets her new maid, who is supposed to be her head housekeeper once she marries, alice fortescue

they end up becoming very quick friends, after all, narcissa's husband is awful, but he's also rarely home

i think this story would be way slower, way more focused on day to day life than the entire rush of the marriage season, mostly to show narcissa adapting to her new life, her new house and her new routine

alice would be there for that, they would walk the entire town together, talk, and on days lucius isn't home, narcissa even invites alice to eat with her at the table (after all, she feels lonely)

after a few months, narcissa would end up having her first and only son, draco, and she and alice would pretty much have to raise him alone

i don't know if i'd off lucius in this story or just make him have his own home separated from narcissa's, but really, they rarely even see each other

slowly, narcissa starts to catch feelings, but she can't really tell alice, because it feels extremely wrong

i still don't know how i would solve the entire employer x employee situation, but in the bright scenario where i did solve it, alice and narcissa end up becoming a couple, living their best life in the field, raising draco together

bonus, this is also the story that starts preparing for the two next stories, which are, really, the ones i want to write the most: the black brothers. let's just say that narcissa helps them to make fake graves

i haven't been able to write a lot recently (since i'm busy studying for college stuff)

but i had a vision. a mirage. a hallucination if you will

so today i present you:

marauders x ever after high

i'd like to start with lily evans as apple white. yeah. I MEAN JUST THINK ABOUT IT OKAY beautiful slightly nerdy popular girl, everybody knows her, everybody loves her, and i could argue that mary would look AMAZING as apple as well, sure, but then we have:

mary as darling charming. she's absolutely perfect, she's a fighter, a rebel, she likes to do things her way, the stubborn princess she is, AND she's lily's true love kiss

dorcas meadowes as raven queen, i don't even have much to say here, BUT i could also argue regulus black as raven queen (and james as apple white) but i think i'm more for the girlies on this one. anyway, dorcas makes the goth, raven type, chic and slightly off-putting. not everyone loves her, but that's just because they don't really know her

which brings us to: pandora rosier as maddelyn hatter. i can't even stress this one enough, pandora is all mad hatter vibes, really

i think maybe marlene would be briar, but i'm not really sure yet

james is daring charming, period, i don't even need to put say a lot about it (although i don't think he'd fit the narcissist type, it's just the general vibes, y'know?), and regulus would be either lizzie heart or rosabella beauty, just because i like the idea of scary/unhingend regulus and mister sunshine james

i'm not really sure who barty and evan would be, but i'm very inclined to say evan would be duchess swan, and barty would be sparrow hood. evil genius x appealingly dumb sidekick, except they're both really smart-

remus is ashlynn ella (i just find it funny him running a shoe store), and sirius is hunter (pretty little goody two shoes x rebel couple, but they're both rebels, really)

if regulus isn't cerise hood, i'd also say remus, actually. the half-wolf thing just seems like it was made for him

rita skeeter is blondie lockes, that's it

also, alice is alistair wonderland, and narcissa is bunny blanc (i actually have an hc that alice calls narcissa bunny, so it fits her like a glove)

and last but not least (i think), bellatrix as faybelle. i just think i'd be funny

barty is a great cook.

like, not only because his mum taught him how to cook (gets even better if you hc him as italian or spanish [or latino, too]), but also because his friends can't cook even if their lives depended on it

regulus is a menace in the kitchen, he once burned a kettle trying to make tea, evan is too lazy to try to learn, pandora was banned from the kitchen after making something (no one really knows what it was) that got them all sick, and dorcas can do the basic, but she likes having barty cook for her

it surprises a lot of people when they learn it that that goth, punk, edgy, slightly off guy with too many piercings and tattoos to count could be the chef of his own restaurant if he wanted to. his specialty is main dishes, he's superb with pasta and meat, but also rocks the desserts

he bonded with james over food, because james is also the cook of his group of friends (he makes the most amazing desi dishes [which i won't go into much detail because honestly it's 3 am and i can't research properly right now])

opposite to what many people think, the skittles rarely order food when they're hanging out together. barty almost always cooks. more than knowing how to, he likes to cook. it's something he shares with his mum, something his father never had any influence over (after all, he was never home during supper)

most of all, barty loves to cook for evan. evan is the type of person who tends to either get into hyperfocus and forgets to eat or has a very bad week and forgets to eat. either way, he doesn't take good care of himself. barty helps by popping up in his house, making him get up from the couch and help him in the kitchen. evan doesn't cook, but he sorts the ingredients out and occasionally chops a tomato (not onions though, he hates how they make him cry). he makes barty company, and they both have slightly better weeks just because of that

so, in the end, barty loves to cook.

(i might be finally going insane) so i was sketching a marauders bridgerton!au because i have this thing where i like to watch a show over and over again until my obsession goes away

so let me talk a bit about the first pairing i outlined

quillkiller X bridgerton

secret admirer, mistaken identity, runaway bride

i think bellatrix would play the marriage market like a pro, this girl is giving everyone the best performance of the perfect young lady >ever<

things go downhill when she meets wallflower rita skeeter, who is a known gossiper and who everyone knows to like to write, so bella automatically thinks she might be whistledown

as her genius plan, bella decides she will help rita to bloom this season, all so she gets closer to find out if she really is the (in)famous writer

bella starts to be courted by lord rodolphus lestrange (who i think would be, like, an earl), and at the same time, starts to recieve the most beautiful love letters she ever read

rita starts to act weird after the letters, but bella thinks it's because she's hiding her identity of lady whistledown

when things happen and bellatrix finally finds out that rita's secret was actually the love letters, and not being the most wanted writer in london, they both go through a turmoil before noticing they actually love each other

bella ends up running away from her own wedding with rodolphus

this is as far as i thought, even i don't know how this ends, but i actually started to write this, so i guess we'll find out if i ever decide to post it

i will come back at some point with other pairings, so for now, this is part 1 i guess
