i think people are starting to confuse class analysis with bioessentialism. like... no not all men do this, but Men as a constructed social class do do this. that's still okay to say. that is regular material analysis of the world around us.

This is literally what people are talking about when they say AI will be used to mainstream widely held bigotry. LLMs are trained on frequency and probability -> straight relationships are more well represented in the dataset -> straight pronouns and terms become the "correct" normal.
This is a form of backdoor bigotry from both normative facts (there are more straight than gay relationships) and well represented bigoted beliefs (men are superior to women).
Combine this with the mass of people inclined to believe (and being encouraged to believe) that if AI says and does something it must be correct

FMA is fascinating because there aren't many works about what it means to be an atheist and a heretic to a god that you can not only see, but who has personally snatched body parts off of your living body and made fun of you for it.
They are having theological discussion in my notes but I think that people are too...divinity centric about Truth to make good interpretation of the situation.
Truth is a god in the way that gravity or magnetism is a god. He's just a manifested force of nature. He's sapient on some level, sure, which is a neat trick, but we managed to make meat think and we're not extraordinarily special about it either. He didn't invent humans and he didn't spawn the universe the way that Rose would have expected the god of her religion to have done; he has minimal to no interest in the day to day lives of any creature and only intervenes when someone actively wanders into his grip of influence. He's not a Capital-G God. Truth is to matter what fire is to flammable objects. He's a metaphorical (and perhaps even allegorical) chemical reaction.
Ed isn't an atheist because he saw god and cussed him out irl; Ed's an atheist because he doesn't believe that the brute force of Truth qualifies as a god. Quite frankly, I think that's a hell of a lot ballsier and a much more complete understanding of the situation. This perspective insulates him against idolizing the Truth as an ultimate divine force and makes Truth something that can be reasoned around or through, rather than with, which would never have worked.
Ed is a scientist. He's always worked with the Truth in some way, shape, or form, because the whole point of science is an attempt to pursue lower-case-t truth. Being able to see Truth's reflection in the mirror as he does doesn't really affect Ed's whole..everything.

I have no idea how to say this coherently, because I do not actually know that much about professional sports and the sports entertainment industry, but a fair amount of "Heated Rivalry" fanfics keep pinging my "that doesn't feel right" instinct regarding... well, a lot of things, but especially how these fictional franchises are supposedly handling injury management.
Like, okay, the show is making the conscious choice not to show a lot of things due to focusing on the romance, limited number of episodes, and budgetary issues, sure. I can't recall even the book actually naming a single general manager, much less the rest of a front office. So, if you as a fanfiction writer don't know much about the sports money machine, you aren't going to know about the complex daily operations of a professional team or even the staff / services that an individual player might be paying out of their own pocket to help their performance.
But... like... these are billion-dollar hockey franchises... and Shane Hollander just in S1 is a generational, two-time cup-winning captain of arguably the most hockey-crazy city in North America. He is a multi-million-dollar asset to his team. (Over the course of his entire career, he probably contributed at minimum hundreds of millions in value to the league.) This doesn't mean that a team or a league won't mistreat a player, but it DOES mean that they're almost certainly not going to just let their beautiful racehorses (Shane OR Ilya) wander off randomly when injured.
Of course, this doesn't mean that these businesses and their medical teams won't accidentally mess up the healing, recovery, and physical therapy processes somehow, and the general idea that you can buy and use up people's bodies is a gross, inherent part of sports entertainment, but these businesses are pretty heavily invested in the recovery here and will want to supervise. You don't have to know anything about the actual sport of hockey to know that, uh, sports teams ideally have a team of employees to maintain the health of their athletes.
Like, these businesses WILL probably sell their beautiful racehorses here, if they think the costs of keeping them and maintaining them are too high and timelines are too long or they think the horse has behavioural issues, of course, but they are absolutely going to want to, at bare minimum, know exactly where their concussed horse is.
Isekais would be funnier if there was less of “I know the entire plot” wish fulfillment and more “I didn’t even read this piece of shit series that I don’t even like” while desperately trying to navigate the world without looking like an ass
