Are there any other fellow autistics who are celebrating new years eve alone? I am this year,, it will be a bit lonely i think. However i already kind of know, how the night will turn out if i go with my parents to some of their friends to celebrate. It will be kinda boring. I also think new years eve is the most stressfull day of the year (for me)

Struggling with communication
Anyone else who tends to leave out important pieces of information when communicating with other people? I tend to leave huge important chunks of information. Apparently I expect them to know the information.. because if I know it, then they must know it too... Not. Then they have to dig out the information,, lets just say it's a work in progress. I don't want people to misunderstand when i'm saying.
SO IM APPLYING TO SCHOOLS FOR NEUROSCIENCE SOON AND MY BRAIN CANNOT HANDLE THE FACT THAT THE FUTURE IVE ALWAYS WANTED IS LESS THAN A YEAR AWAY AND ILL BE LIVING ALONE WITH MY CAT AND SERVICE DOG IN A COOL APARTMENT I CAN DECORATE MYSELF AND GO TO SCHOOL FOR MY ACTUAL SPECIAL INTEREST AND LITERALLY WHAT THE HECK HOW IS IT SO CLOSE
people trying to tell me I’m autistic is very funny to me
real conversation that happened yesterday:
Person: “So I think… like… I think you maybe might have like a touch of… autism? … slash… a lot?”
Me: “Yeah I’m autistic.”
Person: “oh so you already know”
but why do they tiptoe around it like that?? it’s not the plague ffs
thinking about the time my social worker told me a metaphor about a lady in a parking lot thinking of going into a building and asked me if I understood and I just replied no and hung up
