I keep listening to this song called Heavy by Delta Goodrem and all I can think about is Batsis in Castle of Glass. How many days she felt like she was carrying the world on her shoulders, constantly feeling like she couldn't complain because she had everything she could ever ask for.
I keep thinking about her decision to leave home, to make the choice to leave everything and everyone behind so she could try and find a meaning for her life, for herself.
I think about her and Barry, spending time with his family during the holidays whenever Barry learned that she didn't have family to spend them with in Central City.
I think about her and Wally, him becoming the greatest confidant she had before the truth came out.
I think about Batsis going to school with other young adults who aren't literal geniuses and feeling like she's normal surrounded by them.
I think about Batsis lying in bed at night wondering if she made the right choice in leaving everything behind.
I think about her seeing magazines and internet posts of her family at galas, smiling and joyful and all she feels is a bittersweetness.
I think about Batsis understanding she made her bed and she has to lie in it.
I think about all the times she picks up the phone, starts to dial her family's numbers because she still knows them by heart and has to stop herself because too much of the bridge has eroded.
I think about Batsis stepping back into her place and putting the weight of the world back on her shoulders.

Alfred:
Regulates the amount of things you eat through the day, forcing you to eat if you refuse to and not allowing to eat too many junk food if you over eat. Sneaks a candy bar every once in a while.
Would try to comfort you with unconventional advises, “you should take a walk, miss (y/n)” and “sometimes being with yourself is the better company,” along with some other sayings.
Would recommend books and movies for you to watch so you can distract yourself and listen if you want to rant to him.
It’s actually really sad that you are so sad and would probably call in some of your brothers and friends so they distract you and make you feel better.
Bruce:
Honestly won’t know what to do with himself. Won’t know what to do with you.
Would try to make your training five times harder so you can let your anger out, the best medicine for a broken heart and grieve he knows? Crime fighting.
“This things happen (y/n)”, “It doesn’t mean you can’t let yourself trust anybody else, always be open to new people.”. You won’t be sure if you should laugh or cry at his attemps but well, at least he’s trying.
He won’t force you to talk about it, but if you’re too down, he’ll probably suspend patrols for you until you get over it because you’re starting to take too much risks and he’d get worried.
Barbara:
Organizes a big sleepover just for you to rant and cry over old romantic comedy movies until you fall asleep at 4 am dressed on one of her pijamas and hugging a pillow.
Would listen to you complaining for hours and just nod , knowing you have to somehow let it all out.
Would look for different ways to make something productive out of your hurt and constantly check on you.
Babarba would actually track your ex-girlfriend to make sure the both of you aren’t someplace near each other and get really angrier than you if your ex tries to talk to you to explain what you saw with your very own eyes.
Dick:
He’s the first one to know about it and would probably get sad with you and hug you and spoil you so much.
Would buy you tons of sweets but scold you for staying up until late and not taking proper care of yourself, more than anyone, I feel like he understands how it feels and he’d be extremely concerned about you.
Making up “fun” adventures after patrol/work so to keep you busy and distracted.
Would give you more hugs, would listen to what you have to say and help get through it.
Cass:
Pats your head constantly. Calls Steph and gives her some ideas.
Would, very much like Bruce, not know what to do with you and would try to step up your training and spar more harder. If you get tired, you can’t think about it.
Won’t ask you much about what happened with your girlfriend and listen calmly if you want to say anything about it.
Would look for ways to help you get your anger and sadness out.
Jason:
He hears about it and gets furious, but you make him promise he won’t do anything to her. Still, he teams up with Steph to pull off a small prank on your now ex-girlfriend.
Would attempt to teach you how to drive his motorcycle so you can keep yourself distracted.
Constantly checks on you and buys you chocolate, he won’t admit it but he’ll spoil you a little more. That book you told him you wanted to read three months ago? He gets it for you.
Would assure that you’d find someone better and attempt to make you say stupid things about your ex (even though that’s not alright) so you can somehow laugh it out.
Steph:
The day the she hears about it, Steph calls Jason and makes up a quick plan of “vengance”. Some witness say that night, Spoiler and the Red Hood throwed eggs at someone’s window, covered their house with toilet paper.
When you ask her about it, she denies it, but later on shows you pictures of your ex-girlfriend covered in flour while wearing some ridiculous pijamas and looking offended. You both laugh about it, but you make her promise she won’t do it again.
Would be eager to hear about it and give the best advise of your life. Also “girls night” happen twice a week and she goes over to the manor to eat tons of junk food with you and try to make you laugh.
Steph would often reassure that it wasn’t your fault, and that you’ll find someone better for you.
Tim:
Takes it the way you take it. If you’re sad about it, he’ll get sad too, if you’re angry, he’ll get angry too.
Would let you hug him if you need it, but honestly he’d be so uncomfortable because Tim doesn’t really know how to manage his own sadness so he won’t know what to do with yours. Though you know he understands.
Involve you in the process of resolving cases, making you investigate things so you can distract yourself.
Would probably offer video games as an outcome for your anger and listen to you talk without pressuring onto doing it.
Damian:
He’d be the last one to know about it. By the time he finds out, you’re already over it, kind of.
Would probably want to live up to his promise of “cutting her” if she ever hurts you and you have to sit down and talk him out of it, reassuring him that you’re fine now.
Still, he’s angry that you’re not doing anything to get revenge. What Jason and Steph did calms him a little, though.

batsis headcanons: finding out your dads dating wonderwoman
- when diana first started coming over for dinner you didn’t think much about it because you knew how close she was to your dad
- but after the 5th dinner and catching them stare at each other you began to suspect something was up
- now I wouldn't say you were pissed but you always thought that your mum (catwoman) and dad would work it out eventually
- but having wonder woman as your dads girlfriend actually ended up being really nice for you
- she understood you and took the time to get to know you better because she knew how close you were to your dad so your approval was important
- she’d take you out flying after school and buy you ice cream, not to mention she persuaded your dad to take a night off so he could relax with his family for once
- as for your other family members they were just as happy, especially dick who has always apparently seen them getting together eventually an now he can brag to the titans that wonder woman is his “future mother in law”
- you didn’t miss the wince from your dad when dick first said it though, he like my mother has minor commitment issues which is mostly due to their line of work and is part of the reason why they didn’t elope but that's a story for another time
- the truth is when you found out your were hurt but you’d rather see your dad happy and if diana makes him happy then that's good enough for you.
He’d often walk in in you taking in the phone with her or cuddling in the couch while he brings you snacks or cleans around but won’t tell you anything about it until he catches you trying to sneak out of the house for a date.
“Miss y/n, I’d advise you to talk with your father about your whereabouts these past few days” “I’m sure Master Bruce and your siblings would understand and support you in this new relationship”.
Understanding. Would make you sit on the kitchen and offer you cookies.
He won’t want to force you to say anything but would listen to whatever you’d share with him.
After he listens for a while, Alfred would quietly nod and say something like “From the way you talk, she appears to be a kind hearted lady”
Would convince you into telling the rest of the family, but would keep in quiet until you decide to tell them.´
Bruce:
Noticed by the way you started to act slightly different that usual. Would start a background check on your girlfriend almost immediately.
It would slip out of your lips when the both of you are talking about the next Wayne charity event during dinner. He smiles softly at you with the fork still in his hand and you would know he hear you mumbling about how much your girlfriend would love to go.
“I was expecting you’d tell me in some other way” “You seem to smile more around her, did you thought I didn’t already figure it out?”
Awkward just for you. Pats in your backs to congratulate you and “You should bring her to the manor some time, no closed doors while you’re in your room”.
He’d be happy for you but won’t know how to express it.
Would set rules and a curfew. Would assure you that you can talk to him about whatever happens.
That night, Bruce would make plans to invite your girlfriend over for dinner so he can properly meet her and introduce her to the family.
Would want you to go to patrol with him so you can talk things up more freely and buy smoothies for you to sip while seating on one of Gotham’s gargoyles.
Dick:
High key offended. Would hold back tears.
He would find you curled in the couch and resting your head on your girlfriend’s shoulder, holding her hand and giggling at some tv show.
He freaks out. He stomps over his feet and walks towards the tv with a stern expression, he crosses his arms over his chest and looks at you first, then at your girlfriend. When you ask you to move out of the way of the screen, he explodes.
“How come you didn’t tell me before?!” “Don’t you trust me anymore?”
So much yelling and choked cries and a lot of “I’m just so happy for you” whispers while he cleans his tears and sits right in the middle of you and your girlfriend.
He’d be so happy for you he’d literally beam.
Would hug you. Would hug want to hug your girlfriend and “Richard that is exactly why I didn’t tell you before”.
He’d eventually move out of the way and let you see the amused face of your girlfriend but he won’t let you two alone with questions and small talk for the rest of the afternoon.
That night, after driving your girlfriend home, Dick would give you tons of dating advice you totally did not ask him for and he’d probably tell you just how nice of a person she seems to be.
He would also cry a little more and tap your back, head and cheeks a lot because “They grow up so fast”.
Jason:
Already suspected it. Low key amused. Would smirk a lot.
He’d overhear you talking on the phone with her and using silly names. He walks smoothly towards you, grinning the whole time until he seats in front of you and you just know he knows with that.
As the phone call ends, He’d be crossing his legs and resting his hands on his knees, toying with his half smoked cigarette.
“Is she nice?” “Does she treats you right?”
Making cocky comments and teasing the heck out of you to try to make you blush. “If you ever feel like having some fun with her you can borrow one of my empty safe houses” while winking and laughing loudly when you punch his shoulder “Just kidding, Bruce would go nuts if I do that… but now that I think about it maybe…”
He’d be really happy for you but worried that she might hurt you.
Would definitely do a background check and won’t even try to hide it. Would ask you random things to see how much of her life your girlfriend has shared with you.
If your girlfriend calls again, he’d make you put the phone in speakers with a poor excuse so he can say hi.
That day, Jason would take you with him to patrol and squeeze every detail of the relationship out of you, you still don’t know how he made it. Once he’d be convinced it’s a good, healthy relationship, he’d only talk about it to tease you.
He would also offer to give your girlfriend “a scare” if she ever hurt you, half jokingly, half seriously because “She can’t be better than Wonder Woman”.
Tim:
Awkward. Low key surprised because he hasn’t slept in four days.
He’d walk into your room in the middle of a make out session, his laptop hanging from his hands with a paused youtube video he thought was so funny you should watch it frozen on the screen.
He’d stutter a lot. Standing in his place for a couple seconds to try to process what he had just seen, open mouthed and then mumbling an apology and running to close the door behind him.
“Oh, I-I’m sorry” “Though you should lock your door to prevent this things from happening in the future”.
He’d for your girlfriend to leave before attempting to talk to you about it.
Would be quiet the whole time. Would let you tell him only what you want to tell him and won’t ask much.
He’d stop you mid-sentence because he remember about a file he did on your girlfriend a while back, when he did the background check on her.
More flustered than you. His answers would consist on “Ok, cool” and “Oh, I see” sentences.
Tim would show you the funny video and the both of you would climb to your bed to finish watching the next episode of that show you both stared watching a while ago because nothing has really changed.
He’d often hang out with you and your girlfriend and offer you an ear to listen to whatever problems you could have in the relationship because “You can trust me sis, I might be sleep deprived most of the time but I sure know how to listen”.
Damian:
High key jealous and angry. Would probably threaten your girlfriend to death almost instantly.
“Does father knows about this?” “If you ever hurt her I will cut you”
He’d find you giggling mid kiss and screech until you pull away to look at him while he leaves one of Titus’s toys fall out of his hands.
Would probably leave you alone until your girlfriend leaves and then approach quietly at you, saying “She seems sufficient for you, I hope she brings you happiness” in the most subtle way he could think of.
He’d most likely than not try to spy on you and your girlfriend on your next date because he feels the need of making sure she’s a good person.
Barbara:
Not surprised. Already expected it to happen.
She’d walk into you and your girlfriend doing something like painting each other’s nails and glance at you first and then at your girlfriend, nod, and then walk out of the room.
When your girlfriend goes home Barbara would appear to say goodbye to her and talk with you about it.
Would want to make sure she’s a good person immediately and would do a background check on her.
She wouldn’t ask you anything, because she already knew everything and a “I hope she makes you happy” would be her way of showing you her support.
Stephanie:

Cass won’t ask anything about it but she’d keep an eye on her in case, to make sure she’s a good person.

-When you died, Bruce wasn't ready to let go of you, so he did the only thing he could think of
-He dressed you in your favorite dress, made your hair and make-up (with a little help of the girls who couldn't say no), so that you looked, like you were alive
-Than he used the technology from Mr.Freezes to freeze you cryogenically
-Maybe he hoped that he could find a way to revive you
-Or he just could't bare the thought that you could disappear when he would bury you
-What he didn't consider and what seemed almost impossible was that you weren't ready to leave earth yet and go over to the afterlife
-So, Let's just say it wasn't a really manly scream, Jason made, when he found you sitting on your couch
-Well, not really you. More your ghost
-You only smiled at him
-"Missed me?"
"Yo...you're dead..."
"Yep, but I can't let you guys ruin your life, because of that."
-When Jason is finally convinced that you're really a ghost (after numerous test with things flying through you), he told the others
-Let's just say Bruce was never so afraid and happy at the same time
-And don't let me start on Alfred
-(He screamed too)
-"What are we gonna do now?"
"Should we call an exorcist?"
"NO!"
-privacy isn't really a thing anymore
-cause you can fly through walls and doors and stuff
-but that's a small prince to pay for still having you around

-you can switch between the worlds (means that you can talk to other ghosts)
-and with that new 'power' you can help the guys solving cases

-and when it's your turn and your arm comes out through the table and you make a move, they doubt their own sanity
-You're the first one to notice them

-comes out you can't explain, because you have no idea how that happened
Batsis being babysat by aunt Harley and aunt Pam (HC)
-Actually, your mother Selina should take care of you, as your father and your brothers had to go on a dangerous mission and your grandfather Alfred (more or less voluntarily) had free
-But Selina had Business elsewhere, so she did the only thing that came to her mind and called her best friends Harley and Pamela
-Harls and Pam weren't really fond of the idea of babysitting, but when Selina told them you were the one they neede to babysit, they were immediately excited
-You were their favorite niece after all
-And they always wanted some time with you without your mom (or your dad) controlling them
-You were super happy when auntie Harls picked you up from Kindergarten (even though you were confused because she looked kinda weird)
-She drove you to the apartment she and Ivy had rented, where you practically jumped into Ivys arms
-Harley then disappeared into the bathroom, but when she reappeared, she looked like she usually looks
-In all honesty, Harley and Ivy aren't really made to watch over a little child
-Even though they try their best
-When you start crying, they freak out and the first thing that comes to Harl's mind is going out with you
-Then she buckled you up in (most likely not her) car
-She and Ivy sitting in the front seats not wearing a seatbelts
-Them driving way over the speed limit, but you not understanding that that's a crime
-And you just having fun, because of the wind, which felt so amazing, rushing through your pigtails (Harley insisted on you wearing them)
-Harley and Ivy kind of forgetting that you're also in the car until they hear the police sirens
-"Shit"
"don't swear in front of Y/N"
-"What are we gonna do now?"
-"Just drive. Y/N needs to learn how to be just like her mother."
"But Selina said..."
"It's not about what she said, it's about what she meant."
"What the heck does that mean?"

-Bruce and the boys finishing their mission earlier than they thought
-Them wanting to check on you, because that calms them down after a mission
-Them FREAKING OUT when neither you nor your mother is in your mother's apartment
-Bruce calling Selina and freaking even more out when she tells him, that Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy are babysitting you
-Him finally (almost) having a heart attack when he hears that the police is chasing Harley and Ivy and an "unknown third party, who seems confusingly small"
-Batman, Nightwing, Red Hood, Red Robin, and Robin joining the chase, but being much more successful than the police
-Them being super careful because they don't want to risk something hurting you
-You have fallen asleep long ago
-Harley and Ivy pulling over when Selina calls them because she saw the news and is also freaking out
-All the boys (and Bruce) scolding Harley and Ivy, until you yawn and they don't want to risk you waking up
-Red Hood picking you up and rocking you in his arms
-None of them seeing the paparazzi that are taking photos
-The media going crazy when every paper has pictures of the oh so hardcore and grumpy Red Hood with Gotham's sweetheart Y/N Wayne in his arms
-Jason acting super annoyed, but having a cut-out of his favorite picture in his purse
