This prompt starts with Jason and Danny being childhood friends. Danny had lived in crime alley with Jason because, at the time, the Fentons were broke due to Jack and Maddie's constant ghostly escapades.
They were best friends. Nearly inseperable. Until Jason is adopted by Bruce and the Fentons get funding and move. Jason and Danny keep in touch, though, until Jason dies. Then Danny later dies. They never meet in the gz.
Years later, after all the Redhood stuff, Jason is introduced to the latest member of the Justice League, King Phantom. King Phantom is a tall and kind man. Being the king of the dead naturally causes a bit of a deadly aura, but the look of death in his eyes said a lot about him. He was lonely, mourned every step he took, and when he looked at Redhood, it was like he was reading his very soul. His long flowing hair added a natural shroud to his tired face. His clothing hangs loose, making him movements look almost like water with the way the drapery of his armor dragged with him.
Apperently, the guy joined after the loss of his hometown. He didn't like the Justice League (that won a few points in Hood's book), more like he tolerated them with a grim understanding that they are the greatest form of protection he can offer his people.
He was such a fascinating being, yet he rarely stuck around long enough for questions. That is, until Redhood started staying with him. At first, they sat in silence. They didn't need to talk. Phantom just seemed to find another undead man comforting. Phantom only started talking when he noticed Redhood brought a book once. "That was my best friend's favorite book," was all he said, with a saddened smile. "Sounds like a cool guy, anyone who reads Jane Austen is a cool person in my book," Redhood responded, earning him a grim chuckle.
The next time they met Redhood asked, "who was your friend?" Phantom gave him a wistful look, "Jason. He, uh, died a long time ago. Never got the chance to go to his funeral before I died, too. Lucky fucker got eternal rest, all I got was eternal unrest."
That's when it hit Redhood. That's why Phantom's voice felt so familiar. All he could do was nod and sit back into an uneasy silence. Danny. His best friend. Someone he thought had forgotten him, so he forgot him in turn. Was sitting in front of him. King of the dead, stuck in eternal mourning for a lives lost and one life brought back. He said Redhood was lucky, and looking at the man now lost in his own magic thoughts, he couldn't help but think that maybe he was.

A/N - Take that angst bit where you want! Just a swift generic prompt to pump out for fun.
Side note: im not tagging anymore dp x dc prompts under the main tags of Danny Phantom, DP, DC, or DC comics. I've heard there's been a bit of an over saturation of Dp x Dc on those tags, and not everyone enjoys crossovers like this. God knows there's characters I despise due to their oversaturation. So all prompts will now be marked under the main dp x dc tag, and Danny Phantom crossover, dp crossover, dc crossover, dc comics crossover.
Authors note: This is what follows after Damian and Danny are friends (also known as: Damian has a crush on Danny). It's gonna be mostly snippets of Damian and Danny during their dating years and how their relationship evolves. The stories might not always be lineal.
NEXT
It’s been about four months since Damian and Danny have started officially dating and for the three months they kept their advances on each other sweet and careful; kisses on cheeks, hand holding, hugs, sweet pecks on the lips… two lovers getting used to each other. But then one night during one of their dates at Robinson Park, – there was a sort of night walk event lit only by paper lamps and fairy lights – they were watching the full moon on one of the strange clear nights over the city, they were sitting under a tree, their backs against the tree trunk that hid their figures from the eyes of the other attendants to the event. Danny put his head over Damian’s shoulder, Damian looked down at his boyfriend at the same time that Danny looked up at him. Their eyes locked and after sweetly smiling at each other they joined their lips… what no one expected – not even Danny himself – was that Danny, driven by pure instinct, gave a soft nip on Damian’s bottom lip.
Damian pulled away in surprise, vibrant, bright green pupils shaking in his wide-open eyes as a flaming blush paints his cheeks.
Danny was frozen in place as his clear ice blue eyes, also wide open, locked on Damian’s surprised ones, his cheeks on fire when he realized what he just did.
Did I just bite him?! Danny inwardly panicked. This is it…. This is why he will break up with me… he thinks I’m a freak now! What the fuck Danny?! Why did you do that?!
As for Damian… Damian lips were all over Danny’s in seconds, the youngest Wayne used his own tongue to pry open his lover’s mouth and tangled the muscle around Danny’s own. It was like a dam had exploded and all the emotions were flooding everything away. Danny’s back hit the ground as his mind caught up with what was happening, the panic/surprise settled down and it transformed into relief and warmth, the young halfa reciprocated the kiss with eagerness. He rounded Damian’s broad shoulders with his arms and trapped him in a hug as Damian’s hands went down to Danny’s legs, clutching the lower side of Danny's legs and settling in between them.
Danny bit harder on Damian’s bottom lip shortly before the youngest Wayne broke the kiss and proceeded to grace with his teeth Danny’s jaw, nipping at his chin and slowly moving down to Danny’s neck, leaving love bites all over the way. As Damian’s lips settled on his boyfriend’s neck his hands started traveling up, getting into Danny’s clothes, Damian’s fingertips caressed the sensitive, cold skin. Danny moans Damian’s name and the afore mentioned bit harder on his neck, Damian left hand reached Danny’s chest…
“Ahem.” Someone loudly cleared their throat as the light of a hand light fell upon the entangled – horny – teens. Both Damian and Danny froze. “I know that this is a beautiful night.” The officer making their rounds around the event said. “And the event’s atmosphere does give a lovely vibe, but there are children around guys, just keep it into your pants for a little longer until you reach home, alright?”
Both Danny and Damian nodded their heads in silent dreed, both of them beet red at been found intensely making out, out in the open, during a public, family event in Robinson Park.
“Ok, good.” The officer said as they turn off the light of their hand light. “Now, I’m gonna turn, walk away, and nothing happened, but don’t do it again, alright?”
Both Danny and Damian nodded their heads again, grateful that the safety of the darkness was given back and that the officer let them go with just a warning.
The officer did as they said, both teens waited for another five minutes just to breath. Damian crawled off of Danny and Danny straightened on his spot, both ending sitting in front of the other.
“I’ll take you home.” Damian said as he stood up and offered Danny to help him stand up.
Danny took Damian’s hand in silence, his eyes on the floor as he felt his cheeks on hellfire, and stood up with shaking legs.
The whole way to the parking lot Damian and Danny didn’t say a peep, not even after Damian closed the driver’s door and started the engine. They travel in silence, neither of them daring to look at the other, both with blushing cheeks and electricity buzzing under their skin.
This is it. Damian thought in panic as he drove. This is why we will break up with me… he thinks I’m a beast now! What the fuck Damian?! Why did you do that?!
“Damian.” Danny called his name and the afore mentioned then noticed that they have reached Danny’s home. “Damian, please look at me.”
And Damian did, and the image that greeted him will feed his dreams for a long time and inspire many paintings and sketches. The street light outside Danny’s home showed Damian a messy Danny with tousled hair and plump, rosy bitten lips, the visible bite marks already red. The vibrant blush on Danny’s cheeks only made Damian want to bite his boyfriend’s cheeks.
Danny closed the distance between them and gave Damian a quick, small peck on the lips as he held Damian’s intense gaze. “What happened tonight…” Danny whispers against Damian’s lips. “I really liked it.” And then he ran away, phasing through the car’s door in both trepidation embarrassment at what he had said and the way he said it.
Damian was left in shock… his lips tingled and his groin ached. He was so shocked that he didn’t even notice that his boyfriend didn’t even open the car’s door or that he just phased through the brick wall inside the building. The poor boy stayed parked in front of the antiques shop for fifteen minutes before he managed to takes his cellphone with shaking hands.
The line only rang two times before Bruce picked up. “Damian.”
“Father… I do not think I will be able to join you for patrol tonight.”
“Is everything alright?”
“Yes father, all is good.”
“Are you sure, gulbi? You sound breath-oh.” Bruce all of a sudden understood what might have happened between his youngest and his boyfriend.
Damian is not pleased by this. “Whatever crossed your elderly mind father, erase it.” Damian growls.
“It’s alright chum, you both are young and healthy. Do you want Alfred to prepare some cold treats?”
“I would really appreciate that, thank you.”
“Alright, omri, drive safely.” And Bruce ended the call.
That night the first thing Damian did after arriving to the manor was take an ice bath in the tub while eating a homemade mint sherbet.
On Danny’s side, Clockwork was waiting for Danny with a steaming cup of perfectly brewed tea and when he saw his young ward run towards his room and slam the door closed, he couldn’t help the chuckled that escaped his lips.
“Ah yes, the one with the officer.” He smiled to himself as the timeline settled.

they don’t scream when his eyes glow green for half a second.

no one can explain it.

Alright now we have something more specific to answer. Time to unleash the wave of stuff that I 've thought about when I've gotten into PJO and then later DC Comics and how the two realms of gods work in each respective universe.
Alright, this isn't the first time and you guys have no idea how long these kind of questions have been debated for along. It’s like Billy Batson being adopted as one of Bruce Wayne's children because this boy is an Orphan and has black hair and blue eyes, which is basically a per-requisite of being a Robin.
In this case and in the same vein, most consensus that I've seen over the internet is that If Billy Batson was a demigod, he would be a Son of Zeus because of said black hair and blue eyes like Thalia, and with his most notable power is his lightning abilities from his Power of Zeus, he’s basically a demigod of Zeus.
Not to mention backstory wise, this fits anyways because as an orphan background, he's also avoiding social services and child services, while on the run a few times, and in classic demigod story, that isn't unusual for young demigods to break out and live on their own (like Leo Valdez) or constantly getting in trouble due to monsters.
But for the most well known DC fans, who've seen in later series that Billy's dad is actually still alive but is stuck somewhere, Billy Batson could still be a Son of Zeus.
Just entertaining the idea if his dad was mortal and his mother instead the godly parent, I can see Billy's mom being Astraea "Goddess of Justice and Innocence" for Billy's pure of Heart and Determination, which lead him to being chosen by the Wizard;
Nemesis "Goddess of Balance, Retribution, Revenge, and Vengeance" for his fight to be treated and his disposition to treating everything and everyone fairly (even to Black Adam) and he's eventual path to being a hero, ;
and now the reveal of Hestia? having demigods? representing Billy's eventual lead to finding his found family (but this one is the one I'm not so keen on because well, we don't know anything about Hestia's demigods).
There's also the argument that Billy could be a demigod of Mercury due to his nature as a troublemaker and his disrespect to authority and being quick on his feet.
Regardless, popular consensus is him being a son of Zeus makes more sense as it explains how Shazam keeps his having lightning powers even after he lost the original SHAZAM pantheon one time, because he has ties with lightning and thunder.
Anyways, back to the ACTUAL question: "Would he be a demigod through blessings?"
Short Answer: No because Billy's powers of Shazam are merely blessings and are borrowed powers of said heroes and heroes, but not entirely his own. He’s basically like the ancient Greek hero Jason except he kept his favours from the gods. Therefore, he is not a demigod.
Long Answer:
Demigods in concept are beings of either half-divine/half-mortal, or a being that achieved divine status after death (discarding their mortal selves) or someone who has attained/promoted upon divinity. According to the Webster, demigod is (1.) a mythological being with more power than a mortal but less than a god, (2.) a person so outstanding as to seem to approach the divine.
So while Shazam may seem like a demigod, Billy Batson himself is not.
The gods and heroes bestowed a portion of their power as a gift to the Wizard, as well, who gives it to Billy, but the Wizard still exists. He can take away Billy's Gift of power and the Gods and Heroes themselves can do the same too.
Just like the Ancient Greek Hero Jason who is Hera's champion, remember, Billy Batson is the Wizard's Champion.
Jason himself won his favour by Hera, hence becoming a Champion of Hera, and he also was born to mortal parents much like Billy. However, after betraying his oath to the gods and betraying Hera's domain by being unfaithful husband to his wife Medea, Jason lost Hera's favour and being her champion.
Even when Billy lost his original abilities after the New 52's Darkseid War event, even after searching for another pantheon of gods, the Wizard was still connected to Billy as Shazam and his Champion as the Mystic Lightning of Mamaragan a.k.a the Wizard.
Billy is very much mortal and while he may be connected to such divine beings, it doesn't change him being mortal with no divinity in himself or any sign of reaching it himself as Billy Batson. He is merely a mortal who has been blessed by the gods and is allowed to use some of their powers.
If anything, Billy Batson would be a priest or in DnD classes, a Cleric or Warlock.

In the middle of the large Wayne Manor living room, four men are passed out and hog-tied. They’re laid out in a row on the floor, bruises blooming on their foreheads and necks. The balaclavas they’d been wearing are placed on the coffee table in a neat stack. The fireplace crackles in the silence as Steve stares from the couch.
“They’ll be out for quite a while, Young Master Steve. There’s no need to stand guard.”
Alfred appears in the corner of Steve’s vision, placing a plate of cookies on the coffee table. They are, pointedly, on the opposite end from the balaclavas. On either side of the plate is a steaming mug of cocoa, cinnamon sticks poking out from the expertly placed whipped cream.
“I’m not standing guard,” Steve says, finally turning away from the men. “I’m sitting guard.”
“Well, there’s no need for that, either,” Alfred tells him, sitting on the couch and watching Steve expectantly. It’s only when Steve reaches for a mug of cocoa and a cookie that he adds, “They won’t wake before Master Bruce returns. He’ll take care of them then.”
“He won’t like that you shot them,” Steve says around a mouthful of chocolate chip. “How’d you even get that gun past him anyway?”
“A butler knows the home better than its master. I have plenty more where that came from, despite Master Bruce’s misgivings.”
“Why use them, though? I mean, doesn’t Uncle Bruce have a no-guns thing?”
Alfred nods once, takes a sip from his own mug of cocoa, and glances at the shotgun leaning against an armchair. “How should I, a frail old butler, protect himself otherwise?” he asks.
Steve snorts. He’s never once thought of Alfred as frail. There’s no way the man could be after having to keep up with Bruce and the rest of the bats for so long. “At least it was only rubber bullets,” he says, finishing off his first cookie and reaching for another.
“Oh, yes, it’s far too much work cleaning blood from this carpet. Rubber bullets make things easier in that regard.”
Steve thinks about that, about how Alfred calls shooting guns easy. "Have you ever…killed anyone, Alfred?" he finds himself asking.
In the silence that follows, Steve finishes his second cookie. He glances at the butler next to him as he subtly wipes the crumbs off on his pants. With a sigh, Alfred pulls a handkerchief out of his pocket and offers it up. "I have, yes," he says, watching carefully as Steve takes the handkerchief and wipes at the chocolate chip smudges on his jeans.
"Was it easy?"
"A better man might say no. I, however, have always considered myself an honest man, at the very least."
Steve considers this as he licks whipped cream off his cinnamon stick. "That's a yes, then."
"It is a sometimes," Alfred corrects. He stares at the still-unconscious men on the floor. One of them grunts, shifts, and settles once more. "It is never easy, but it is doable. Especially when people I care for are at risk. Many things are suddenly possible when a loved one is in danger.
"A strong sense of duty, of course, will also soften the guilt some. But never fully. If a person kills another for duty but feels no remorse, they merely wanted an excuse to satisfy a desire. Do keep that in mind, Young Master Steve."
"I will," Steve promises. Not that he understands entirely what Alfred means, but he's sure he can ask Jason or Dick or Stephanie to clarify all of that for him later. Or Cass. She'd be most likely to keep quiet after.
He thinks, distantly in the back of his mind, that he could kill for the people he cared about. The opportunity wouldn't present itself anytime soon, but he could. If it meant keeping his mom safe, he could.
In fact, he could be proactive about her safety. He'd even be doing the city of Gotham itself a favor if he did. He eats another cookie, mulling over the thought before safely tucking it away for another day.
"You didn't kill them, though," he says.
"No, because Master Bruce doesn't share my opinion, and I care enough about him to compromise on some matters."
"Like rubber bullets?"
"Exactly so."
"But not all-nighters?"
"Precisely. It's bad enough Young Masters Tim and Barbara are stubbornly holding onto that pesky habit they picked up from him."
Steve drains the last of his hot chocolate, deciding to not tell Alfred about the time he overheard Duke, Damien, and Dick figuring out who among them had managed to go without sleep the longest. (Duke was the winner, beating Dick by a mere fifteen minutes.)
"I'm glad you had that gun," Steve says, bringing the conversation back around. "I feel…safer."
A gentle hand lands on his shoulder, squeezing twice. When Steve looks over, Alfred is smiling warmly at him, and Steve wonders if this is what having a grandfather is like. "Of course, Young Master Steve. It is my pleasure to keep you safe."
`````
Steve would say he knows the smells and sounds of a hospital anywhere, but that's not true. Why would he ever go to a hospital when Wayne Manor was right there? It's state-of-the-art equipment and Bruce's Doctor-On-Call money made hospitals pointless. Not to mention that it's almost never been funny or narratively satisfying for him to get hurt.
And that's why he's especially disoriented when he starts to process the smell of alcohol wipes and stale, sterile air. It burns his nose, makes him want to recoil and curl into a ball until the smell fades.
He regains feeling next, fingers twitching against a scratchy material that makes his skin crawl. He next feels a dull, radiating pain from his sternum area. It should be sharper than it is, he thinks. He was impaled, after all. But the weird intrusion in the crook of his elbow that he recognizes as an IV soon explains that numbness.
Sight and hearing return in tandem. The incessant beeping of a machine nearly drowns out strained voices coming from a few feet away. He blearily opens his eyes, hoping to magically see some button that will turn the machine off, and is instead blinded by fluorescent lights.
They didn't seem quite so bright from behind his eyelids.
He groans, squeezing his eyes shut once more.
"Steve!"
"You're up!"
Two voices shout together, the words blurring before Steve can process them. He does, however, process that they're loud and make his head hurt. With another groan, he turns his head to the right, away from where the voices came from.
"Do not shout," another voice says, this one rigid and stern, "Post-impalement headaches are intense."
Blessedly, the lights dim. Steve sighs with relief, turns his head back towards the voices, and cracks his eyes open again. After blinking a few times, the world is less blurry.
He notices Robin and Eddie first. They're both disheveled. Between their messy hair and the dried blood-stains on their clothes, Steve can confidently assume they carried him out of that basement and haven't left his side since.
What good friends, he thinks, a sluggish smile tugging at his lips.
"Yes, you've chosen rather well."
Oh. He said that out loud.
Steve shifts his gaze past Eddie and Robin, landing on Damien standing ramrod straight against the far wall. His mouth is pressed into a tight line, his eyebrows are furrowed, and his arms are crossed. To most people, he'd look pissed. To Steve, he looks pissed and worried.
"We saw you get impaled," Robin says, pushing frizzy hair out of her eyes. "We're, like, legally obligated to be your friends now."
"I do not think that's a law," Damien tells her.
"Sure it is."
"Where?"
"In my heart."
Damien stares at her a moment before turning back to Steve. "I believe your friend is concussed."
Steve manages a weak, amused smile. "Could be," he says, ignoring Robin's squawk of protest. "By the way, what are you doing here?"
"Also, who are you?" Eddie asks.
"You didn't introduce yourself?"
"Do I need to?" Damien asks.
"You know, you've got shit manners for a kid," Robin tells him.
"I'm older than you," Damien says.
"You don't look it."
Damien bristles, his shoulders rising. Steve knows he's a little sensitive about his height, if only because he's surrounded by giants. Damien should have, in his own words, overtaken them all by now. Or, at the very least, Tim. "I could kill you before you even knew I'd moved," he says, eyes narrowing.
"Please don't kill my friends. They're the most interesting people in this town."
"These interesting people still don't know this guy's name," Eddie says.
Steve sighs and closes his eyes. "Eddie, Robin, this is Damien. Damien, these are Eddie and Robin."
"Robin? Really?"
"Damn, fuck you, too," Robin mutters.
"No, he wasn't—"
The door to the room opens before Steve can finish explaining. Standing in the doorway, wearing a messy Arkham Asylum uniform and even messier pigtails, is his mother. Their eyes meet, and hers start watering.
"Pumpkin!" she shouts, throwing herself across the room and onto the bed. Somehow, Harley avoids touching where Steve's been impaled while still managing to cradle his head to her chest. "You have no idea how worried I was!"
"Enough to break out of Arkham," Damien says. He's watching them with a neutral expression, which makes the looks of astonished confusion from Eddie and Robin even funnier.
"Like you wouldn't break outta your own maximum security prison if that cow of yours was hurt," Harley says, running her fingers through Steve's hair. She smells like sweat and dirt and the jasmine flowers that Ivy likes to grow for her. Her presence is so comforting that Steve almost falls asleep right there.
And then he hears Eddie's strained voice ask, "Steve, dude, why the fuck is an escaped villain here?"
"Quinzel has prefered anti-hero lately," Damien says.
"Oh, Pumpkin, are these your friends?" Harley asks.
"Yeah. Eddie and Robin," Steve says, deciding it's much funnier to feed the chaos than try to contain it. He wiggles around to see them better, flashes a bright grin, and gestures to Harley. "This is Harley Quinn, my mother."
The two stare at him, and then Robin blanches. "Dude! I said I'd bang your mom?! Why didn't you say anything?"
"Did you say that?" Eddie asks.
"It was heavily implied, at least!"
"Sorry, shnookums, I'm a taken woman," Harley tells her.
Eddie, finally unable to keep standing, walks over to a chair against the wall and collapses into it. "This explains so much," he says, leg bouncing as he seems to review everything he knows about Steve with this new information.
"I've got a question," Robin says, raising her hand like she's in class. "Actually, several, but this one seems the most important: What the fuck are you doing in Hawkins?"
"That's…a long story," Steve replies, shifting his gaze to frown at the scratchy blanket covering him.
"Fortunately, we have time," Damien says, "He won't be here for another hour."
"He's gettin' slow in his old age," Harley says with a near-manic giggle.
"He? Who's he?"
"More family," Steve answers, figuring that's as much information as he can give before he knows if it's Bruce Wayne or Batman about to walk through the door. "An hour's enough time, though. You might want to sit."
Robin looks from Steve to Harley to Damien. When none of them say otherwise, she sighs and flops into the chair next to Eddie's. With an already-weary look, she waves at Steve to begin.
I’m reading Superman & Batman VS Aliens & Predator and this part from issue 2….
And I immediately remembered this part from Justice League Unlimited S1 ep 10 “Dark Heart’’…….
All of this to say, I hope we get a moment like this in the DCU. Batman plummeting to his death with an almost casual air about it and then suddenly be rescued and whisked away all princess like in Superman’s huge, strong and loving arms.
