c/w : not proofread, fluff, childe x reader, drabble, maybe ooc..
Childe knew you were the one.
He knew it when you helped him take care of his younger brother who came down with a fever. He couldn’t take his eyes off of you—not for the regular reason, no. This time it was out of admiration. You cared for his family just as much as he did—just as much as you did for him.
He knew it when you’d scold him for being so reckless. “I was so worried Ajax. Be more careful next time.” He’d laugh it off but deep down he so desperately wanted you to keep scolding him. To keep telling him off and worrying about him.
He knew it when he saw how hard you work to take care of the things he leaves for you. He often leaves you with random tasks no matter how much you complain. When he comes back to see it’s been completed his heart warms.
He knew it when you sticked with him even through the most complicated of times. His job always makes something harder no matter what it is. You stay with him despite the lies and excuses. Your trust in his ability to keep you safe and not push himself keeps him grounded.
He knew it when he noticed your unconditional love. He’s never said a thing to you about his crimes, but he’s sure you know. He’s slipped up a few times near you, but you’re still with him despite it all.
He knew it when he saw that look in your eyes. The look of love some may say. He particularly sees it right before he heads on his so called ‘Work Trip’. That look of worry, warmth, admiration, and affection all in one all for him was too much. He knew he needed to see it over and over till the world ends.
a/n : I felt the need to write genshin..have a good day/night
Livewire is already half asleep to the point of not holding much back. While snuggled up to Eddie as Volt is getting through his bedtime routine, they ramble to him about wishing they were more mature for him and Volt. Eddie assures them by admitting he's developed a soft spot for their silly side and, once Volt comes back, Livewire greets him with a dad joke before falling asleep
You Are Enough

“...and I know, I know, it’s not like peak storytelling or anything. But, I mean, c’mon, they’re really trying to say they’re the stronger character out of the series when the writer of the manga explicitly stated that they are equally matched.” Your eyelids drooped as you let out a long yawn. “Like, death of the author exists, but that has to do with interpretation. There’s literally nothing to interpret here!” You waved your hands about, attempting to physically emphasize your point. Ultimately, your hands dropped down as you lay there exhausted.
Through Eddie’s chest, you felt the vibration of his amused hum. His hand lifted to your head, giving it a loving ruffle. As he did so, you felt yourself cringe inwardly. Thinking about the last things you just said made your cheeks heat up. God, I’m so immature. You squeezed your eyes shut, nuzzling into Eddie’s chest to try and push away the self-imposed embarrassment.
“Are you okay, Spark?” Eddie could tell something was up, by the way your breathing had suddenly turned harsh.
“Yeah…” You muttered against him, though you still felt a sourness brewing within you; a common thing you experienced. “Sorry, I just got a bit carried away with all of that.” You stayed pressed against him, too afraid to see that his expression agreed with the insecure thoughts flashing through your mind.
You’re so annoying. Literally nobody cares. Jesus Christ, get a fucking job you loser. The words made you cringe even more. Lips pressing tightly together as you chewed on your tongue nervously.
“Hey.” A hand found your chin, lifting your face to look up at his. “What’s going on?” Where you had expected to find irritation, you instead saw brows furrowed along with worry swirling in those gray eyes.
“Nothing…”
“Please don’t lie to me.” Eddie sighed softly, his worried expression softening into a loving one. “I know when something’s up with you.”
Looking down, you pondered on telling him the truth. How despite the fact that he and Volt listened to you intently, you felt silly and childish. You didn’t deserve their time as you filled it with utter nonsense. Just letting yourself speak about whatever you thought of, a stream of consciousness that had no filter. As always, as soon as you were finished with the conversation, that terrible embarrassment creeped into the back of your head. It made you visibly cringe, forcing you to ask yourself: “Why did I say that?”
With you being so tired, you really couldn’t process the feelings all too well. When you were well rested, it was much easier to push away the thoughts of embarrassment. Recognizing that Eddie and Volt would tell you if you were bothering them. Right now though, you felt the humiliation sinking in your gut, and it wasn’t going away.
“Do I annoy you?” You asked Eddie, teeth worrying over your bottom lip.
Taken aback, Eddie’s eyes widened. Shaking off the surprise, he gently cupped your cheek. “Of course not? Have I done something to make you think that?”
“N-no…” You couldn’t look back up at him, now feeling even more embarrassed that you had asked him that at all. “I just wanna make sure. Cause it would suck, like a lot. And I know I can be a lot, so I needed to know. You know, just in case I have. So I could… um.” You shook your head, as if you could find a proper way to word yourself when your brain was trying to get you to crash. “I could… I could… change. Yeah.” You looked up at him. “So I can change my behavior. Make sure I don’t bother you or anything.”
That expression of concern had returned to Eddie’s face. “I promise, I have never, and will never find you annoying.” He pulled your face close to his, pressing a kiss to your forehead that had your heart warming.
“Are you sure?” Your voice cracked. “Cause I know I am a lot sometimes. I talk too much, and I say stupid shit. And I always feel so childish, while you and Volt…” You sighed, tucking yourself back up against Eddie’s chest. “You and Volt seem to have your shit together. And I’m over here acting like a kid.” You let out a sad sigh. “I just don’t think I’m good enough…”
Your words struck Eddie in the chest like a dagger of ice. Letting out a sharp breath, he processed the conversation. God, he hoped that he didn’t make you feel like that. Certainly, he could be aloof at times, but he worked hard to make sure you and Volt felt loved and cherished.
“Spark, I’m sorry if I’ve ever made you feel that way.”
Eyes flying open, you pushed yourself off of him shaking your head side-to-side. “N-no! That’s not what I meant at all! You’ve never done that! Oh, oh my gosh.” You gripped your head, feeling that wave of humiliation wash over you again. “Did I make you think you have? I’m so fucking dumb.” You looked up at him with sad eyes that sent another hard hit to his chest. “I’m so so so sorry! I shouldn’t have made you feel like that…”
“That’s not what I’m saying.” Eddie wrapped his arms around you, pulling you into a tight hug. “You didn’t make me feel bad. I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t hurting you.”
“Oh.” Your eyes fluttered shut as you accepted his hug. “I’m sorry.”
“Please, stop apologizing.” He let out a soft sigh, pulling back to look at you. “You have nothing to apologize for. You have done nothing wrong.”
Before you could respond, he pulled you in for a soft kiss. Melding your lips together, you felt yourself sink into him. Briefly, he pulled back. “You are not annoying.” He kissed you again. “You haven’t hurt me.” Another kiss. “You are more than enough, you are perfect, Spark.” Another kiss pressed against your lips. It was a sealed promise that made your heart soar.
“I love you.” He pressed his forehead against yours. “Volt and I need you, because you care so much about bringing fun into our world. Without you, I feel like things would be so dull.”
“Yeah?”
“Yes.” He grinned at you, eyes glimmering with adoration. “Who else could brighten Volt and I’s day with a ‘walked into a bar’ joke?”
“Well, I’ve got plenty more to share.” You said with a grin of your own.
“Plenty more of what?” Volt stepped out of the bathroom, looking at you and Eddie expectantly.
Eddie gave you a knowing look, nodding in Volt’s direction.
“Have you heard this one?” You took in a breath, now able to force out the embarrassment. “A jumper cable walks into a bar. Bartender says, ‘You better not start anything.’” You bit your tongue with a cheeky grin.
Shaking his head with an airy chuckle, Volt shot you a grin. Making his way to the bed, he spoke: “Oh Livewire, what would we do without you?”
He pulled in on your other side, cuddling up to you. Volt pressed a soft kiss to your cheek. With the two men holding you, you found yourself drifting off into a very blissful sleep.
Hiyaaa would be able to do a luciferxreader please?
" Just a bump in the road, I'm sure.. "
Lucifer x Reader
Tws; mentions of violence, stalking, yandere Lucifer
FLUFF
You and Lucifer had just gotten into a fairly.. bad argument. Usually you refrained from arguing with your lovely boyfriend, but..
He had seriously injured one of you friends for 'giving you lovey eyes'. At first it was just you expressing how you thought he was too overprotective, then he ended up admitting to stalking you. All the time. Yeah, not a good move on his end.
"Baby..?" You heard your boyfriend call from the other side of your shared room, voice laced with sorrow, and concern, "I'm.. really sorry, I was dumb- and.." he trailed off, and for a moment you swore you could hear him quiety weeping.
With a sigh, you called out, "Come in."
Not even a minute passed before the door flung open, a desheviled, guilty looking Lucifer rushing in and throwing his arms around you, sobbing words of apology.
"Oh, Luci'.." You mumbled, sighing softly
As much as you wished to remain upset with him -- how could you? He obviously felt like shit for beaking your trust, and was willing to make amends, of course you'd have to go through boundries.. but perhaps that could wait until you calmed your boyfriend down.
Gently, you pulled Lucifer into your lap, "Are-" He began, hiccuping, "Are you still mad at me..?" was his next words, spat out almost pathetically. But, it was that stupid charm that made you adore the fallen angel.
"..Yes." you replied with a nod, "What you did.. everything, it was wrong, decietful, and creepy. But, I still love you."
Lucifer's eyes lit up at the last part of your words, "Oh, starshine!!" he exclaimed, kissing your cheek repeatedly, "I'll never stalk you again-- I swear, I swear!". You chuckled at his enthustastic reply, and he kissed your cheek a few more times, now grinning broadly
"How about I take you out somewhere nice!?" he suggested, clearly trying to 'redeem' himself, atone for his bad actions.
You thought for a moment, "Hmm.. depends, where?"
For a second, Lucifer opened his mouth to speak, as if he already knew a place. "Crap.. I was gonna suggest Ozzie's, but you're a sinner.." he sighed, running a hand through his blond hair,
"I don't really care where we go.. how about you cook something for me?" you returned, hopefully.
He gasped and in swift movements stood, eagerly nodding, before dashing off, out of the room.
Lucifer was a creepy, charming, pathetic man.
But he was your creepy, charming, pathetic man, and he wouldn't have it any other way. Neither would you.
Lottie x Nat (Yellowjackets)
-
Established Relationship, fluff, oneshot
WC: >1k
-----> Also avalible on Wattpad
The day started normally, a basic day of classes, Lottie walking through the halls with a few of the yellowjackets. Nat is standing against the lockers with Kevyn. The two shared a small glance and a smile.
The whole team already knew, I mean, it was obvious.
But they still couldn’t be themselves, not in public. Especially with Lottie’s parents, even if they’re never home.
Nat opened her locker, finding a small note on a scrap piece of paper,
Meet me at my car after school, date night at my house <3
-Lot
Nat couldn’t help but smirk. Kev teased her, but she just ignored him and went off to class.
Lottie had been waiting for Nat outside her calculus class, standing there with Shauna.
“Hey,” She smiled, “You find my note?”
“Yes, what are you planning, Matthews?” Nat asked, a small smirk on her face, staring up at her girlfriend.
“You’re gonna love it,”
“I don’t do that.” Nat scoffed, looking back down,
“What? You don’t love?” Lottie smiled, her eyes staring down, letting out a soft hum before walking off, “See you later, Nat.”
The house was quiet; it always was. Not even the housemaid was there after breakfast. Lottie had her meds, and that’s all that mattered.
“Wait here,” Lottie said, her eyes lighting up slightly, running up to her bedroom, leaving Nat, who was still taking off her old boots.
Nat walked to the staircase, heading up to the top, right outside of Lottie’s bedroom. Lottie let out a quick breath,
“Come in,”
Nat entered, watching Lottie hold a slightly beaten Jacket, some patches sewn on, a few pins that had been found at the thrift store, and then one, this one pin that was just an L+N
It was perfect, it was so Natalie.
“Lot…” Nat mumbled, walking up to her, her smile plastered all over her face.
“Do you like it?” She said sheepishly
“Like it? Lot, baby, I love it,” she muttered.
Lottie handed her the jacket, opening it slightly to reveal the inside, right under the tag, in Lottie’s perfect handwriting.
I love you -Lottie
“I mean that, Nat,”
“Lottie… I,” her eyes softening, looking up to her girlfriend.
“You…?” A smirk grew on Lottie’s face.
“You know what I’m trying to say,” Nat groaned.
“No, I really don’t.” A smug smirk came over her face. “You have to say it.”
The condescending little smile is practically dripping off of her, “You what?”
Nat’s face scrunched, shaking her head. “I love you.” Coming out more like a whisper, shielding her face.
“Oh? Why are you hiding?”
Lottie started having too much fun with this, not realizing how easily she could make Natalie blush and get so quiet.
“You say it, then if you think it’s so easy, then”
well shit.
Nat wasn’t great with emotions, but neither was Lottie; hell, her medications make her lack them most of the time.
*“*I love you.” Slightly wavered and her face also turning red, “Okay, fine. Not fair you using my parents ’ detachment against me,” She huffed.
“So what were you doing to me?” Nat smiled, leaning back against the floor. “We both suck at saying it,” she continued. Her face fell into a more comfortable expression, just enjoying Lottie’s presence.
“Honestly, I think you just lying here near me is better than you saying it.” Lottie’s room fell to this comfortable silence, Natalie lying there listening to the music playing softly in the background, Lottie finishing some homework, forcing Nat to do some of hers as well.
“I love you,” Nat mumbled, resting her head on Lottie’s leg, staring up at her.
“I love you,” Lottie smiled, “Wanna just lie down and eat some takeout?”
“Of course,” Nat smiled, getting up and reaching her hand down to help Lottie up.
Nat lay on the couch, her hair messy, eyes on Lottie, who was grabbing the wine glasses and opening this old bottle her parents hated.
“How are you so perfect in like every way?” Nat mumbled, sitting up to make more room for Lottie.
“You make everything make sense. Like, the static is gone but not in the ‘bad’ way,” She spoke so plainly. “You’ve helped me, Nat, the episodes are so much less common and tamed down,” She sighed, like this relief washed over her. Sitting down next to Nat, “My parents don’t listen, but you do.”
“You helped me at my worst, Lot. I’m honestly shocked I haven’t scared you off yet,” She chuckled, laying her head against Lottie’s shoulder.
“Never,”
“I love you so much,” Nat whispered, her eyes focused on Lottie’s face, her soft features, the blush on her cheeks, their eyes meeting each other.
“I love you more, Nat.”
“God, you’re so cheesy.” She smiled, rolling her eyes
Regulus wakes up in the morning to a rough crashing noise, startling him. He immediately rushes out of the warm covers, skipping steps down the stairs and swinging into the kitchen.
His unruly haired husband is standing in the middle of the room, face paused in a grimace, his hands stuck in place. A pot is shattered on the floor, shards of terra cotta clay are scattered all over the room. The anxiety that was settled in Regulus' stomach withers away rather quickly.
James' eyes finally meet Regulus', an apologetic look in them. "I'm sorry, Reg, it was supposed to be a surprise." He frowns, standing back up to his full height.
"What're you doing, hm?" Regulus walks up to him, wrapping his arms around James' neck, as James' fall to his hips.
"I was gonna plant your apples, you know? Spring's coming up."
"That's okay, Jamie. Now we can do it together. But you're cleaning this up first, okay?" Regulus smiles, leaning up and pressing a soft kiss on James' lips, a wink and then back up the stairs to brush his teeth.

You take Katsuki’s hand in yours, gently wrapping his hand up in a bandage. He watched your every move, groaning occasionally from the open wound. Once you finished, you place a soft kiss on his injured palms and smile softly. “All done Kats.” You said softly, the blonde pulling you in for a tight hug. He was eternally grateful to have you as his partner, loving everything about you.
