They sat on the small balcony in their shared flat. It was late, the city below was shining against the dark sky.
Barty Crouch Jr had a lot of feelings and somehow didn’t know how to process them.
„This is nice” Evan pulled his legs closer and rested his cheek on top of his knees. His head turned to the side so he could watch Barty’s side profile.
Barty put a cigarette in between his lips. Evan reached over with a lighter. “Until you fall in love with someone else and leave me too,” Barty uttered, blowing smoke away from his face.
Evan moved closer and rested his head on Barty’s shoulder “I sleep in your bed every night.”
“Because it’s more comfortable than yours”, Barty commented. As if it were a well-known fact.
“And you are wearing my shirt” Evan remarked, his chin dug into Barty’s shoulder.
“I must have got mixed up in the laundry” a small sigh escaped Barty’s lips, he looked away.
Evan shook his head “You are not a burden, get that through your thick skull”, he whispered. “Yes, Reg is in love with James, they are dating.”
Barty made an annoyed sound, “And you have to twist the knife.”
“You didn’t let me finish” Evan pulled Barty closer, his lips gently moved against his neck “That does not negate his love for you.” His arms wrapped around Barty’s body.
“Of course it does.”
Evan left kisses down Barty’s neck, “Hypocrite.” He said and ran his lips over Barty’s ear next.
“Enlighten me, Rosie” Barty turned in his arms, they were now eye to eye.
Evan smiled. He got closer, his nose nudged Barty’s “You love him. You love Regulus.” The ghost of his lips moved against Barty’s. “And me,” his lips moving against Barty’s slightly parted ones. “You love me.” Evan murmured into Barty’s mouth, his fingers wrapped in his wild green hair, “Say it.” He pulled his head back.
Barty was panting, “I love you, Rosie” His own hands nestled on Evan’s waist, pulling closer, always closer. “I fucking love you.”
“Such a good boy”, Evan bent to kiss him again. “I love you, too, idiot.”
