just wrote a horror short story and am pretty proud of it ngl, let me know if y'all wanna read it on here. Its sorta inspired by the lore of iron lung (i haven't watched marks movie yet plz don't spoil), and so basically the mc and her brother are sent to find out what happened to the rest of humanity and theres a lot of gore at the end and dumbass older brother syndrome throughout the whole thing lol. Ngl I kinda scared myself with this one lol

Oh man, the emotional experience of reading down through this and deciding that I'll click on one of the "we will make it" options, and then reaching the end and selecting the "I love you we will make it" option, only to see that almost 2/3 of everyone else's done the same. btw this isn't solely a disability rights issue or an issue about people who are entirely unable to work. you should also be thinking about the people who are regarded as unhireable. transfems are hugely discriminated against in this way, people of color are passed over for less qualified white people, anyone who has any difficulty playing the interview game is less hireable... frankly anyone who made the mistake of pursuing the things they love and now has a degree for a niche field. if you still joke about Jobless People it's because you've fundamentally connected the worth of people to their labor, and specific labor, work that you see as valuable. and while i'm at it stop making fun of people who still live with their parents. asshole.
