This goes out to my middle school who basically did nothing after I reported my "friend" for sexually harassing me. They didn't do anything until I got a group of girls to mass report him and he only got suspended for 2 days.
((My middle school literally doesn't even exist anymore😭))
I wish people address me with pronouns other than just she/her. I mean, I understand why people usually do. I typically present myself femininely and it's pretty obvious that I was born a female when you look at me. I can't really blame people for doing it. It just kinda sucks especially when I've talked to people about my pronouns. I'm fine with all//any pronouns but my preferred pronouns are they//them. I just prefer going by more gender neutral pronouns. I'm even fine with going by neopronouns. I just don't like how literally nobody, except for very few people, use my preferred pronouns.
It doesn't really matter that much but it still sucks.
Otherhearted people, can you please tell me about//what your kith//hearttype is so I don't feel like I'm going insane//being delusional while I'm kithsidering!
I don't have any friends who are ace, aro, or on either of those spectrums but most of my friends are queer. For whatever reason, multiple of my friends have tried to encourage me to come out to my parents, who are devoutly religious, homophobic and transphobic, and have, on multiple occasions, made fun of and denounced queer people. Some of my friends think that me coming out to my parents "won't go badly" because I'm aroace and not lesbian, trans, etc. Like, that's not how that works.😭 Just because I don't want to get it on with women doesn't mean that my parents aren't going to have an adverse reaction to my sexuality ((nonetheless my gender identity)).
((To be fair, most of my friends don't entirely know my sexuality because I use aroace as an umbrella term and typically don't elaborate beyond that, but still))
Can we be nicer to people who are on the aro/ace spectrum who aren’t aroace please? Aroallos and alloaces and aplatonic folk and cupioromantics and those who want queerplatonic relationships and those who don’t and aros who date and aces who have sex and people who don’t fall on the “sex-favourable to sex-repulsed” line because they feel like it doesn’t describe them well enough and greyromantics and demisexuals and those in polycules and selfshipping communities and those who fight for aro/ace visibility and those who don’t and those who haven’t fully come to terms with their identity yet and this community is such a beautiful place can we see it beyond “uwu innocent aroace doesn’t know what sex is” please god I am begging you
Remember that if you don't like a label, you don't have to use it. If you want to remain unlabeled just because, go for it. If you'd prefer to use microlabels instead of the more "broad" or "known" term, go for it.
My gender identities & sexual//romantic orientations and their definitions
Greyromantic // Grayromantic - A romantic orientation on the aromantic spectrum which describes those who experience romantic attraction infrequently, weakly, or only under specific circumstances. It can also describe those who relate with aromanticism, yet feel that there are parts of their experience that aren't fully described by the word aromantic.
Berriromantic // Laurianromantic- The primary romantic attraction to female- and androgynous-aligned genders, with occasional, minor attraction to male-aligned genders.
Quoiromantic // WTFromantic // Whatromantic - A romantic orientation on the aromantic spectrum associated with challenging one's own romantic orientation as not personally helpful. It also can include not knowing one's romantic orientation or not wanting to define one's romantic orientation.
Quoiromantic experiences may include:
Being unsure what romantic attraction is, and therefore being unsure if one has experienced it or not.
Finding the concept of romance to be inaccessible, inapplicable, or nonsensical.
Being unable to understand romantic attraction as a concept or feeling.
Disidentifying with the concept of romantic attraction - either as a social construct or as something potentially applicable to oneself.
Questioning one's romantic identity for such a long time that the questioning itself becomes the identity, rather than a path toward any other more stable identity.
Having a difficulty distinguishing romantic attraction from other types of attraction.
Cupioromanticflux // Cupioaroflux - A romantic orientation on the aromantic spectrum which describes when someone feels that they are cupioromantic sometimes, but not always. One's want for a romantic relationship will fluctuate between not wanting a romantic relationship and wanting a romantic relationship.
Aegosexual // Anegosexual // Autochorissexual - A microlabel on the asexual spectrum that describes individuals who experience a disconnect between themselves and the subject of arousal. Aegosexuals may experience sexual fantasies, enjoy porn and other sexual content, or masturbate, but they generally feel little to no sexual attraction and typically do not desire to involve themselves in sex with another individual.
Gender Apathetic // Inersgender // Apagender // Anvisgender - A gender identity that describes those who are apathetic towards their gender identity and do not care what gender they come across as. It is different from agender in that one may have a gender and/or feel gendered, but it's unimportant what that gender is or whether it's even there at all.
Librafeminine // Librafem // Librawoman // Libragirl - a gender identity in which one is mostly agender but experiences a small amount of attachment to being feminine and/or have a connection with girl/womanhood (sometimes 1-49%, but can be greater or less).
When I was in middle school, I came out for the first time to a group of my friends. I did such a horrible job at properly explaining my gender identities and sexual//romantic orientations, that I never fully came out ever again. When I got to high school, I would only ever elude to some of my identities, say that I was gender nonconforming and ((angled)) acearo, or just say that I was queer. I legitimately only ever specified to one person about my gender identity and that wasn't until the very end of my senior year. I guess that I kinda scared myself into never coming out to my friends because I felt like I did a bad job at explaining it the first time I even tried.
Does anyons here also have like a compacted zip file version of their gender and sexuality that they tell to most people they don't know well, and then there is the full version of it with microlabels and everything else
Sometimes, I wish that my genders and sexualities weren't primarily microlabels. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy being the way that I am. I just wish people actually know what I'm talking about when I come out or bring it up in conversation.
I've recently been considering if I'm Otherhearted and Fictionhearted. I'm not really sure. I'm not new to Alterhuman stuff generally but I am new to this. I feel like I don't know enough to conclusively make a decision.
