Life as a Joke

"Sorry", that's what people say when they are busy, that's what people say when they just don't care, they pretend that they are doing it to 'protect your feelings', but really, they would rather stick their head in some technology world. So, I have a question for you, yes, you. Would you stand by and gossip about the latest trends, or save a life, and laugh at the joke. The next time someone tells you a joke, don't walk away. Stand there, look at them in the eye and say, "I care, I will not ruin a life, from now on, you should live, you should laugh, find your own happiness." And then, as you walk away, laugh, hysterically, at the joke. BUT THEN, did you just save a life? Did you take the advice too far? Did you just laugh at your friend who was saying how his grandma is dying? Were you even listening, no. You were too busy sticking your head inside of this advice, you were too busy trying to be a good person. You shouldn't have to try, you should be able to laugh without thinking, so the next time someone comes up to you, laugh. It could be the last time you hear those words, "You're a piece of shit" And as that person utters those words, just smile, be grateful that they recognize you, for the piece of shit you are.
