It randomly appears and hit you clean on the head and you feel the need to follow it and make whatever it left you with happen.

This was inspired by a random screenshot I took on my friend's Minecraft Cobblemon server.

we have dandelions EVERYWHERE, they are basically our State Weed, it is absolutely impossible that my mom has never interacted with a dandelion before, this requires further investigation

So after extensive interrogation I have an update:

my mom is in fact aware that dandelions exist. she temporarily forgot the name and there was some miscommunication.

the truth is actually weirder

she’s aware dandelions look like this

she is familiar with this flower. she knows the name of this flower. she declines to believe, however, that these are also dandelions

she does not believe these are the same plant. I tried to explain, and she thought I was either misinformed or lying. so I asked her what exactly did she think the yellow ones were called?

she answered, with complete confidence: Daffodils.

“buttercups” is a name applied to MANY flowers. in my part of the south it was this one:

imo there’s correct identifications of dandelions, daffodils, easter lilies and marigolds in this thread, but buttercups are simply impossible to agree on and the only solution is for everyone to post pictures of their local buttercups

So I haven't been posting the character a day from like last year.....

I'm going to rapid fire all of them here!

(part 1)

The Fakemons

Comet Ledyba & Comet Ledian

These Bug/Fairy variants of Ledyba and Ledian are based more directly on the star theming the Johtonian originals have.

My focus on these two are to make them more "superhero" and "comet" like with the colors and more helmet like head shape.

Pink ladybugs also represent good luck and so are shooting stars!

Feral Intel & Iron Conquer

So far I've just made variants as my Fakemon, huh.

Feral Intel (Normal/Dragon)

Feral Intel is a Pokemon greatly resembling Porygon. It appears to be from the past despite Porygon only being invented and created by Silph Co. in the recent years.

Iron Conquer (Rock/Steel)

It resembles both the unchanging Relicanth and the multi-purpose conquering weapon from a bottom of the barrel sci-fi horror story book many years ago.

These two Paradox Pokemon were concepted with a friend on how Paradox Pokemon are supposed to be.... contradicting with logic, a Paradox.

Past Paradox of Porygon and Future Paradox of Relicanth are the perfect way to get this point across.

Iron Whirligig

Iron Whirligig (Grass/Psychic)

It is not known to resemble anything in any books. Its body parts seem to rely on various orbs on its body to levitate.

This Paradox Fakemon is concepted by my own, I think. Cradily is a funny Pokémon and I turned the petals into abstract shapes that spin like a fan or whirligig. It's ability to levitate is more from its psychic orbs however.

The Pokémon Mystery Dungeon OCs

Team Harmony Lotus

These three are what I consider to be my main three OCs

Pecha Periwinkle is a Pikachu, he's a little timid but like a pink dog, he can muster the courage to protect those he care when he's needed.

He's probably the most pacifistic of the three and the heart of the group.

"RK" (Rokaren Flashfire) is a Vulpix, her eyes may indicate she's uninterested in most things but she's attentive and knows a lot. Most would spot her sleeping in strange spots so maybe she's just sleepy?

She's probably the most likely to get in a scuffle for fun. This chaotic Vulpix knows how to throw hands, being both the brains and the brawns.

Ellie (Elevatina Everston) is an Alpha Eevee from genetics but she doesn't really act or enjoy leading much. She has a big appetite but always look out for others to the best that she can.

She's a gentle giant to most and decent at sparring. She can be the tank of the team while also being a good source of support.

They work together in one team when they get the chance to pair up for adventures or just group activities in general.

Chople Periwinkle is a Raichu, she used to be a Rockstar but has since retired from most kinds of performing. She still knows how to throw down when the situation calls for it and you'll be seeing stars if that meteor mash lands in your face.

Petaya Periwinkle is an Alolan Raichu, he's a kind gentle organizer who keeps things in check and ready for the stage. He used to also be on stage himself but hasn't since his wife retired from being onstage herself.

I was gonna include all of them but apparently there's a photo limit ._.

The rest are supposed to be kinda grouped up too so I'll reblog this with part 2 when I'm finished writing it

RK's Parents

Goyuka Flashfire is a Ninetales that have seen a lot in her life. Despite many meetings and good-byes over many years, she doesn't appear to let anything get to her mind. She runs a renovation business with the many experiences she acquired.

Auburn Flashfire is a Flareon with less fluffy fur than most... or is he keeping it less messy on purpose? He seems mellow but can and will assert force when it is needed.

These two are more known in their proficiency in tag team battles than their other traits... Except how both of them have eyes that do not match the other side, which they state to be that way from birth.

Ellie's Parents

Ever got suplexed by a Sylveon before?

Moonstone Everston is a Sylveon that had a bountiful history, almost as much the Fruitful Forest he lives in which some rumor its bounty was his involving. Physical labor gardening and tending to the plants had given him more bulk and muscle than other Sylveon....

Vale Everston is a Vaporeon working as an Rescue Official. Her line of work focuses more on ensuring safety and rescuing others than capturing outlaws or exploring locations. Her best quality is how agile she can be whenever water is involved.

Miscellaneous

Compass is a Lucario working as an official agent, alike Vale. However, his work is more focused on unveiling mysteries and catching outlaws. He can appear cold to approach and often spends his time analysing things he doesn't understand or double checking his duties.

Codex is an Eevee residing in a library building and is usually absent or busy studying. He has studied Pokémon Moves and have been documenting and improvising how to use moves even if it's unnatural for the Pokémon performing it. He is a very valued Move Tutor according to many.

Marilynn Susanna, she's somewhat famous, rich, and somewhat self-absorbed. She loves attention and has garnered a lot of reputation with her prowess in performing with Mega Evolution involved. She dislikes it when others stand against her but she still knows to not get into too much trouble

side note: she was originally a joke OC on the phrase Mary Sue but I repurposed her... somewhat.

An outlaw known by most as "The Brute Bonnet" for his strength in fighting. Compass has been attempting to apprehend this Pokémon for a while but he always escaped. It's unknown why he was deemed an outlaw but some say he lashed out too violently after... "he let the crystalline power get to his head too much." The orb he carries on him is a rare find but is also rightfully his.

A Banette manifested from a vulpix doll and adopted the name said doll once had, "Konner." Despite manifesting, it appears to have a desire to stay in the same shape rather than morphing its vessel completely into the regular Banette form. The Marble embedded onto the top of its hat is no ordinary stone and is only activated by Konner when it is absolutely necessary.
