Deltarune Theories: part 1
Iām bored so Iām gonna share my Deltarune theories
So one of the most noteworthy parts of Deltarune chapter 4 is obviously the prophecy. It answers some questions, and raises a whole lot more. Such asā¦
Of course, the easy answer (and the one the game wants you to think) is Susie. However, a lot of people like to argue that itās actually Noelle.
There are, of course, a lot of theories, but right now Iām going to talk about one in particular.
Many people (which, for a while, included myself) have had the theory that āThe girlā could actually be TWO people.
The reason for this theory is simple: these two prophecy panels refer to the girl as both the second and last hero, which doesnāt line up, since Ralsei is the THIRD hero. And as we (hopefully) all know, three comes after two. Therefore, there has to be another girl, who is the fourth hero of the prophecy.
Makes sense, right? Well, think about this:
Where does it say the girl is the last HERO? All the other panels say āThe first heroā, āThe second heroā, and so on. Always using that exact wording. Why would this suddenly change? Also, why would both heroes be called āthe girlā? Thatās too confusing, and doesnāt make much sense. Instead, I think that thereās a different meaning.
Instead of just āthere are two girlsā, I think that, after something happens to the other heroes, āthe girlā will be the last one left.
To further support this, think about where this panel appears. You see it shortly before the game talks about the ālast prophecyā, or at least tries to before the āsound of justiceā smashes the panel. Anyway, this leads me to believe that something will happen, and āthe girlā will be the only hero left, or even the only PERSON left to do anything.
