Day 9

Favorite song: Well this is easy lol. Being a Pearl lover, my favorite is It's Over Isn't It. Everything about it is perfect to me. The melody is beautiful to listen to. The lyrics are very deep and complex. And ofc DeeDee's singing is top notch as always. It gives a lot of insight into Pearl's character and how she never truly got over Rose. It's so amazing yet heartbreaking at the same time. I get chills every time I listen to it. Imo, it's the perfect example of how well Rebecca can write and compose a song

Day 8

Favorite ship: It's really hard to say. But I would say, Bispearl. As much as I love Connverse, it's not my favorite overall. For the longest time I didn't even pay attention to Bispearl. But that all changed when the episode Bismuth Casual appeared. Those short 11 minutes made me fall in love with them. Ofc I'm a little bias since I love Pearl but I do think their relationship has a lot of chemistry. Friends, colleagues, soldiers on the battlefield who would risk everything for each other. And now knowing that Bismuth loves Pearl puts a whole nother level of intrigue. It makes me wonder if Bismuth ever got jealous when Pearl was in love with Rose. I really hope one day, Rebecca will say something about them getting married. That would make my year

Day 7

Favorite pet or animal: if I had to choose, I'd go with Lion. Mainly because he became very beneficial for Steven and was the one that kept him from going off the deep end when he uncorrupted. In the scene, you can tell the realization of what he just did hits him. He then starts spiraling again and considers it another thing that makes him a bad person. So once Lion comes up and licks his face, it snaps him back to reality. And after seeing that even Lion still loves him, Steven leans on him physically and emotionally. Even though Lion was very stubborn at times, he still cared about everyone

Day 6

Damn I really fell behind on this. I'm so sorry guys, I kept getting distracted. Let's pick up where we left off

The character you find the most relatable: this character is very special to me. And I never realized how special they were until Future came along. Now after seeing the mini series, they're probably the character I kin the most in animation in general. Who is this character you may ask? Well, it is none other than Steven himself. I could discuss this for at least 10 pages but I'm not gonna torture you like that. But you might want to hold onto your butts for this. Steven's arc and growth is very similar to my story. Minus the gem alien stuff. I've never had the chance to live a normal life. I have limitations and it was like that since I was born. And throughout my childhood I experienced so much trauma. And like Steven, I buried my feelings and didn't want to feel like a burden on others. I was also very into helping people. I won't go into what I experienced but I will say that it was very heavy stuff. So to summarize, I'm basically the female version of Steven lol. Steven means the world to me and if anything happened to him, I will riot. He's my son. I love you Steven. And I always will

Day 5

A fusion you would like to have seen: Oh god there's so many I wanted to have happen! But the one I wanted to see the most was between Pearl and Lapis. I would have loved to see them trying to get along and set aside their differences. Pearl could apologize for not releasing Lapis from the mirror. And Lapis could learn to deal with the trauma and move on from it. I think the pairing would make sense since Pearl is associated with water and a Lapis terraforms. Ahh a fusion between these two would have been incredible

Day 4

Favorite fusion: Oho this is an easy one! Mine is Rainbow 2.0! Some of you can probably already guess why. How could I not love a fusion between my two favorite characters in the show?! I've already said before how much I love the relationship between Steven and Pearl. So to see that love they have for each other be personified in a fusion is one of the best things ever. You should've seen me when I watched CYM the first time. I was screeching at my tv when it happened. My heart dropped. I couldn't believe it finally happened. I just, love my cute little British man so damn much!

Fuck I forgot a day! Okay well here you go

An underrated character you like: I'd say Greg honestly. I don't see many people talking about him and it's sad. He's like the best cartoon dad ever. Sure he made mistakes but no parent is flawless. He's so kind and always wants the best for Steven. Which is also why Mr Universe is one of my favorite episodes from SUF. I could go on and on about the conflict in that episode. But overall, Greg is such a wonderful character and deserves way more love than he's getting

Day 2

Favorite Human: I'm not sure if Steven would count for this so I'll talk about 2 characters! You get 2 for the price of one! Steven is just such an amazing character. His arc was so interesting and heartbreaking. He's kinda like my comfort character cuz I can relate to him so much. And he's so adorable! I love everything about him. Aaaaa I love my son so much!

Second character is Lars! And I'm not just talking about after his death. I've liked Lars since the beginning. Yes he could be a jerk to everyone around him but he still cared about people. He was just insecure, that's all. He's so kind and has always been there for Steven. Him and Steven are my BrOTP. And I love his passion for cooking

Favorite Gem: If you know me personally then you already know my answer. But if not, my favorite gem is Pearl! I could go on forever as to why I love this bird mom so much. However my favorite thing about her is the way she cares for Steven. I love their relationship so much and seeing Pearl be a mom is always adorable! My headcanon is she adopted Steven
