What if Apple convinced Raven to sign & when their story starts the mirror keeps saying that Raven’s the fairest? Apple keeps waiting for the day that the mirror says she’s the fairest but it never comes, she even asks it herself. Eventually, the mirror’s answer changes to Raven’s daughter, who’s now attending EAH. Apple’s the first Snow White that couldn’t surpass her Evil Queen in beauty.
Apple was giddy, it was finally the start of her and Raven’s tale as Snow White and Evil Queen, although it did surprise her when she learned that Raven had merely become a lady in waiting in their tale once they graduated Ever After High.
She was sad when her mother died the day after she graduated from Ever After High, but she knew it was destined to happen.
More so as she realized that her father was being comforted by Raven, mostly through the two of them talking or having tea with each other.
She was more surprised when it took 4 years for her father to court Raven and 2 more for her father and step aunt to marry.
Oddly enough, this was the 6th time a Queen truly fell for their Good King, and Apple at 25 years old was ecstatic to finally have Raven as her Step-mother and was giddy for their tsale to get to the point she wanted.
She didn’t mind when she was stripped of her royal title and given light chores, not harsh like her mother had done during her and Queen Mira’s turn.
She waited patiently for Hunter to order her to follow him so that he could try to kill her and then let her run away to the Dwarves cottage.
Weeks turned to months and months turned to a year.
Apple paced back and forth in her room, she was already getting desperate for Raven to try and off her, but she wanted to know why she wasn’t getting in Raven’s bad side.
She decided to walk around the castle.
As she walked in the halls she passed THE room.
The room that held Raven’s family mirror.
As she passed by she paused when she heard Raven’s voice, but she sounded as if she were tired.
“Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?”she heard her destined enemy say sofetly to what she suspected must be the mirror.
Apple held her breath as she waited fir the next words that would give her the destiny she was waiting for.
“You are the fairest in the land your majesty, no one can compete with your beauty.”
Apple’s eyes widened at what she heard. She felt her stomach drop before she ran off to her room.
“How am I not the fairest? I always asked my mirror-“ Apple paused when she realized it.
The mirror that she had in her dorm room did not since her mother had ordered a custom made mirror that was designed to speak compliments to Apple. It wasn’t a sentient mirror like Raven’s was which was created by the 1st Evil Queen.
So really she knew that Raven was much more fairest than her because of how she looked.
She had the hair and skin, and she was far more beautiful than Apple.
So Apple waited patiently for the mirror to say the sentence that would lead to her Happily Ever After.
Apple waited for months, and waited.
After a year and learning that Raven had just given birth to a little girl that she didn’t realize was born until she met the baby girl when she was 3 weeks old. That was when she had decided to d what she did.
She snuck into the room that held the mirror.
And minutes later she ran with her hand covering her mouth as she muffled her sobs.
She was 27 years old and the mirror has deemed her not fairest yet.
She knew that people talked because as years passed people would eye her in the streets of her kingdom once her father announced that he and his wife, Raven, would be moving to Raven’s kingdom that every Evil Queen and Good Queen moved to once the tale ends of The Snow White tale.
Years pass and Apple was grasping for something, anything that would cause her poison apple to get to her happily ever after.
But she knew it was no use.
She didn’t get married, but she did have a child after she had decided to use a sperm donor which had led to her being given dirty looks.
She wanted the poison apple, but it was no use.
Especially once she learned that Raven’s daughter, Bella Queen, was beginning to attend Ever After High.
Knew that she couldn’t surpass her Evil Queen’s beauty.
She never became the fairest in the land.
