Yes, I’m against gay ships. I don’t hate gay people–I never have and I never will. My grandmother is a lesbian and she’s one of the kindest people I know; please trust me when I say I’m not sitting in an airtight room with a sign that reads “the gayz r evil.” Because of my religion and my personal beliefs, however, I can’t condone a homosexual lifestyle. This is something I cannot compromise on; I will never do anything but love those around me, regardless of their sexual orientation, but loving someone does not always necessitate agreeing with them.
