Post Canon, latest part of the Come What May series. I'm telling you I wrote a sitcom episode but set in Baldur's Gate. I loved every minute of writing it. It was so much fun! Domestic bloodweave fluff where Astarion and Gale are doing their best at fatherhood. Gale's a dad who works too hard, loves his kids, and never stops.

Post Canon/ Canon Divergence. It starts with What Comes Next which is a novella about Gale coming to terms with his decision to not pursue Godhood and living a normal life. Also he gets therapy. Followed by Sliding Gales, which is about him having a second shot at Godhood. Then there's a What Comes Next: The One Shots which is well, what it says on the tin. A bunch of silly little one-shots about domestic bloodweave life. Finally the aforementioned Harvest Moon and Hormonal Monsoon.

Rewatching Bridgerton because I've lost control over my life. I remember people being like "Lord Kilmartin didn't even give her a pinnacle."

I want to clear something up right here and right now:

If Francesca had been honest with Kilmartin than that autistic little bi wife energy of a man would have made it his LIFE'S MISSION to make her achieve her pinnacle.

He just has a hard time understanding subtext.

Okay so there's a witchhunt going on in the heated rivarly fan fic community about genAI and who is and isn't using it.

I want to be clear to make 2 things clear:

1. I do not use gen AI in my fic and

2. I'm not a popular fic author.

BUT here's the thing you going online and saying "I saw Goody Proctor using AI, Claude told me so!" Well it's not a good argument because these LLMs were largely trained on fan fic and things in the public domain. It's why if you feed Frankenstein into a chatbot it will tell you that it was written by AI and not Mary Shelley. So according to Claude and other GenAI models they are going to tell you that "yeah I did it" because the work is going to sound close to the language that was used to train it.

Yes AI is bad but doing these witchhunts have real serious consequences on people's lives, livelihoods, and mental health. Are we really going to be out here threatening people because they may or may not have used AI to write about two boys kissing?

I feel like people are doing this out of a missed place sense of advocacy. The fic writer or fan artists or whatever who may or may not have used GenAI to code some part of some smut is NOT YOUR ENEMY.

The tech corporations stealing your tax dollars, making you train your replacements, poisoning your water, driving up your electric bill, buying your congressmen and getting into bed with the alt right to make a quick buck ARE YOUR ENEMY

Not to go all Hunger Games on you kids but "remember who the real enemy is". Take this Abigail and Mary Warren energy and please go to your town halls, get in contact with your elected officials, and do the unglamarous work of being an involved citizen. That way you might make a difference instead of just making someone's life worse.

Anyway I had never heard the all the lyrics before so I assumed it was about losing your husband in the club. Then idk maybe your husband is getting free drinks from a bunch of bears and he's being a slut and not turning down those drinks even though he is definitely straight! And there you are standing in the middle of the gay bar, definitely crossfaded like turning to the rest of your polycule like "baby. Where the hell is my husband??
