➸ but the main reason kuki gave in was because itto never stopped bugging her to let him meet you ever since he saw you and kuki hanging out together once.
➸ you didn't know, but itto has had a major crush on you ever since he saw you that day. he found you so beautiful, so...angelic.
➸ you were not like the arataki gang, you never caused trouble and you were one of the most helpful, most liked and most well-known person in inazuma.
➸ which is why no one expected you and itto to ever get along as well as you did.
➸ but everyday, you would help itto get better. try and help him find actual legal ways to get food and money than stealing. you even taught him how to cook, which he was surprisingly good at.
➸ this just fueled itto's crush for you even more. it made it grow, and somewhere along the lines, he fell in love with you.

➸ there were many days that you chickened out, many days you thought you were just being crazy. but one day, you finally decided it was time.
➸ ayato had invited you all for dinner, since they were having a small little party for one of the approved contracts of their clan.
➸ you had it all planned out. dinner would go smoothly, you would stay near itto the whole night, and as the night progresses, you two would sit alone in front of the moon, and you would finally tell him how you felt.
➸ when you arrived, itto was there. he was wearing a suit, since ayato suggested to dress up a bit for this event. he looked so professional and mature. not to mention...very very handsome.
➸ he saw you and waved you over, then when you walked up to him he stayed quiet for a bit, just looking at you.
➸ "itto?" you said. he snapped out of it and greeted you, hugging you like he always does. "sorry, you just look...great." he said, almost whispering the last bit.
➸ "oh, t-thanks!" you said, your cheeks flushed. could it be possible that, this night goes like you hope it will?
➸ the entire night went well, you and itto were joined at the hip the whole night. making each other laugh, keeping each other company and just having a good time together.
➸ then, the guests started taking their leave. sooner or later, it was just you, itto, the gang and the kamisato siblings left. the rest of them were inside, but you and itto were outside, sitting together.
➸ "this was great, huh?" itto said, leaning back to enjoy the moonlight more. you nodded and slowly leaned against his shoulder. you always did this, but something about the moment made it fluster you.
➸ "it sure was." you say. you take a deep breath, pacing yourself to finally tell him what you wanted to the whole night. "listen, itto. i have something to tell you." itto clearly sensed the seriousness in your tone, because his eyes started to grow worried.
➸ "we've...been friends for a while. and at a certain point, i viewed you as...more." you close your eyes and take a deep breath. "i...really like you.”
➸ itto doesn't say anything. he stares blankly at you for a bit, just not knowing what to say.
➸ but finally, "oh wow...y/n i was not expecting this."
➸ you took a deep breath, not knowing what to expect but you were already sensing something was gonna go wrong.

➸ you looked back at him, teary eyed and looking a mess. he flinched, almost shocked that he was the person who made you sad. him, out of everyone else.

➸ the next day, you avoided itto in every way you could. he was waiting for you at the door, so you went out of your house through the back.
➸ you saw him at the food market, where you usually meet. so you decided to make food at home that day.
➸ he was waiting for you at your usual spot after lunch, for hours. until he gave up and headed home. nothing could describe how much he regretted everything.

➸ childe was always the flirty type, so the moment you guys became adventure buddies he never stopped teasing you.
➸ the reactions he got out of you were priceless in his opinion, and he says he wouldn't trade them for anything else.
➸ it always made you feel good inside whenever he said those sweet things to you, but you've seen him saying things like it to other fatui harbingers as well. so, even if you did like him you didn't think you were special.
➸ but, one night you and zhongli went out for drinks. you got way too drunk, which is what always happens when you and zhongli go out. mostly because you can trust zhongli to bring you home.
➸ although, while zhongli was distracted with the awful new tea sets at the shop, he didn't notice childe come in. but you definitely did.
➸ you went up to him and fell right on his chest, but you balanced yourself by hugging his waist.
➸ "well, aren't you cute?" he says, pinching your cheeks.
➸ you smiled and pulled him over to some chairs in the corner, zhongli still arguing with the owner about the tea sets.
➸ "what's up, huh? rough day at work? is that why you want to be here with me, y/n?" childe asked, leaning closer to you. you nodded and smiled at him, giggling.
➸ he laughed, amazed by how adorable you were drunk, surprised that he's never seen you like this before.
➸ while he was playing with your hair, you suddenly said, "i...love you."
➸ childe stopped, then lifted you off his lap so he could take a look at you. "what did you say?" he whispered, looking you straight in the eye.

➸ but thoma liked you too. loved you, actually. he's been in love with you ever since you helped him make his bento box when you were kids.
➸ something about you just made him feel so safe and so happy. you were the person he could tell everything to. which is why it was so painful to hide his intense feelings for you.
➸ so far only ayaka and ayato knew, and they never showed signs that thoma liked you either. thoma has begged them to never let you know, and they always keep their word.
➸ but there are definitely days when telling thoma how you feel seems right. you just never wanted to take that risk.

➸ it’s painfully silent for a while, and thoma starts to take deep breaths.

➸ after a while, you just stay in your house. cutting people off completely. not even attending training with gorou, or going out to eat.
➸ a few days went by and gorou stops by your house to make sure you're okay.
➸ he asks you why you've been gone, but you couldn't tell him the truth. so then offers to take you out for lunch to reboot your system, you agree.

➸ you started to laugh and smile again, it was nice being with gorou. he always did make you smile.

➸ "i haven't been sleeping well lately, that's all!" you say, trying your best to brush the situation away.
➸ gorou just stares at you, his eyes growing sadder. he moved closer, his hand still stroking your cheek. "why didn't you tell me earlier?" he asked, going from sad to concerned.
➸ "you're so busy with work, being a general and all. i just didn't want to bother you with such a silly problem." you say, nearly whispering towards the end. gorou immediately hugs you, his squeeze becoming tighter by the minute.
➸ you pat him a bit, since his hug was making it a little hard for you to breath. he pulls away, keeping his hands on yours.
➸ he leans in and kisses your forehead. then your nose, your cheeks, your chin, then he pauses at your lips. "do you ever wonder why i kiss you like this?" gorou asks, smiling.

➸ "come on, yoimiya! help me!" you pleaded. "ugh, fine. but you have to promise you will only use this prank on itto!" yoimiya said. you nodded and she quickly whispered her plan.
➸ her plan was to pretend to be unconscious on the floor as itto comes home. the plan sounded simple enough, you just needed to experiment with fake blood.
➸ you decided to combine some ketchup and strawberry jam, and your plan was ready to execute.
➸ itto usually came home around the afternoon, he used to hang around his gang the entire day but ever since you got together, he always missed you.
➸ yoimiya was one of the accessories in your prank, she was gonna go up to itto and tell him how she hasn't seen you all day. just to add a tinge of worry.
➸ itto was heading up to your apartment but yoimiya caught up to him. "hey itto, have you heard from y/n lately? i haven't seem them all day." a bit of worry settles in. "well, i haven't heard from them too but i'm heading up to their apartment now!"

➸ so hu tao drowned you in fake blood and used some makeup to add bruises to your neck, eyes and arms. surprisingly, it looked very realistic.
➸ you then heard hu tao run downstairs to tell xiao she hasn't seen you all night. xiao obviously went to look for you, and it took a while but you heard a knock on your door.
➸ xiao came in and saw you, all 'bloodied' and 'beaten'. he came in close, placed his hand in yours and whispered, "i know it's a prank, love."

➸ when you both heard steps at the door, venti rushed to hide in the bedroom. you heard the keys jiggling and got into character.
➸ diluc came in, and was clearly surprised by how dark the house was. he reached around for a couple minutes to look for the lights, and when he did, he turned around and screamed.
➸ he picked you up, (quite effortlessly) and placed you on top of the couch. he went away for a few minutes and rummaged through the cabinets. he came back with what looked like bandages and wrapped them around your arms.

➸ he carried you up again to bring you up to a hospital, which got you worried. it would be a bit awkward to reveal yourself right now.
➸ but before you could reveal your trick, you both heard a loud thud coming from the bedroom.
➸ "what the..." diluc whispered. he gently placed you back down and slowly walked over to the bedroom. he placed his hand on his claymore, getting prepared to take it out.
➸ he opened the bedroom door and there stood, venti. lying on the floor, giggling to himself.
➸ "venti? what are you doing here?" diluc asked. but venti just leaped up on him and started crying. "oh diluc, i am so sorry! we tricked you! tricksters, we are!" venti screamed.
➸ "tch, get yourself together bard. this is why i banned you from angel's share. you get too drunk and lose yourself." diluc muttered. he looked back at you and saw that you were sitting up.
➸ "l-love! you're awake! please, lie down. i'll carry you and get you professional care and medicine-" you interrupted him with a kiss. "diluc, i'm...not hurt. i deeply apologize for this, but venti put me up to it." you said.

➸ before you could tell him, you felt arms around your waist. you knew diluc was going to lecture you for letting the strange man get this far with you, but you were just glad he was here.
➸ diluc did what he always did and stood over you with a brooding aura, glaring at the guy hitting on you.
➸ the strange man did pause, but after a moment he just continued talking. "this your boyfriend, hm? you could do better." he said, pointing towards himself.
➸ you felt diluc let out a low exhale, he was trying to stop himself from causing a scene.
➸ "please, he's not even trying to defend you. i'm not a little bitch like him, stay with me tonight hm?" he said, taking your hand again.
➸ diluc grabbed his hand, slowly tightening his grip and he walked towards him. diluc didn't stop until he was right in front of him, seeing how much he was in pain from his grasp on his hand.
➸ "hey, let go of me-" he was interrupted by diluc squeezing harder yet again, which caused him to let out a loud scream.
➸ people were starting to stare, but diluc didn't care anymore. "get out of here, hm? i see you in here again, i wont just leave a bruise on your wrist." he whispered.
➸ he let go of the guy's hand, and the poor little wanderer quickly ran out of the tavern.
➸ diluc let out a sigh. seeing how many people were looking, he knew this was gonna spread around mondstadt quite quickly.
➸ you wrapped your arms around his waist, laying your head against his back. "thank you, diluc."
➸ all his worries went away with this. knowing what he did made you feel safe, he would've beat him to a pulp if it meant you would stay happy.
➸ "no need to thank me, love." he turned to face you and held your face in his hands. "i'd do anything for you."

➸ gorou is definitely the jealous type, while you yourself have never gotten jealous, because you know gorou loves you.
➸ gorou knows this too, but sometimes when people cross the line, he gets all sad and pouty. never one to confront, but it would just make him a downer the rest of the day.
➸ you found this absolutely adorable though, teasing him from time to time always brought out the cutest reactions from him.
➸ but today, his reactions were...different.
a➸ you and gorou were doing some errands today, buying groceries because you were running low on food for the troops in the resistance.
➸ when you finished up, gorou wanted to get some desserts for the two of you.
➸ "come on y/n! we haven't eaten cakes together in a while." gorou says, putting in his hands together pleading for you to eat some cakes with him.
➸ you agree, and he drags you to his favorite dessert shop with his tail between his legs.
➸ you had to admit, it looked beautiful. the cakes were very well decorated, every single corner and curve of the cakes detailed with gorgeous designs and fruits.
➸ while gorou was ordering his cake, you brought your cupcake and found a table to sit at and set down your groceries beside your chair.
➸ you were just fiddling with your fingers until you saw someone sit in front of you. "hi, sorry to be so forward but you are really beautiful."
➸ for context, you were very famous around inazuma and popular with guys and girls alike. people admired you for your fighting skills, but also your beauty.
➸ so you were used to people coming up and complimenting you, but you didn't exactly know how to reply.
➸ "uhm, thank you!" you said, laughing nervously. "don't be shy, now." the guy said, looking into your eyes.
➸ this caught you completely off guard, flustering you and making you look away. "ah, sorry this is embarrassing..." you mutter.
➸ "don't be sorry, you're cute." you nervously laughed, not knowing what to say. you just took a small bite of your cupcake and looked everywhere except the guy's face.
➸ "hey, you have something on your face." the guy said, reaching over to wipe some icing that got on your cheek from the cupcake.
➸ you flinched a bit but just let him wipe off the icing, and when he finished his hand stayed lingering on your cheek.
➸ "hey uh-" before you could finish he stroked your hair, "you are beautiful, you know?" he said. you quickly looked away and got his hand away from your face.
➸ "i'm sorry, i-" before the guy could finish his sentence, a hand slammed really hard on the table, separating you from him.
➸ "please leave her alone. you have completely crossed the line here, buddy. now leave us alone." it was gorou, and when you looked at him his face was terrifying. his cold piercing glare almost cutting through the poor guy, making him quickly run off.
➸ "are you ok, sweetie?" gorou asked, holding you close.
➸ you nod and wrap your arms around him, and you feel that he's trembling and his breathing has become deeper and heavier.
➸ "gorou, i'm so sorry." you mutter, feeling horrible for not confronting the guy for crossing the line.
➸ "no, no, no. it's not your fault, lovely. none of this is, i promise." gorou says, kissing your forehead.
➸ he slowly works his way down to your nose, then your cheeks, and when he finally reaches you lips, he pauses for a moment.
➸ you both spend a few seconds just staring into each other's eyes until gorou finally kisses you, quickly letting an innocent peck turn into a passionate kiss.
➸ you realize the two of you are still in public, and push gorou off.
➸ "what's the matter?" gorou asks, worried he made you uncomfortable.
➸ "w-we're still in public is all, it's not appropriate..." you whisper, feeling your face heat up.
➸ "why? would you like to do more with me...in private?" gorou says, a sly grin spread across his face.
➸ you just hit him on the shoulder and he laughs it off, but then he slowly gets close to your ear and whispers, "nothings off the table, let me know whatever you want to do to me, lovely."

"➸ surprisingly, kazuha was the jealous type. not that you knew, but he was. he was very secretive about his jealousy, though. he always expressed his feelings in writing and tells beidou about it.
➸ beidou gets super drunk whenever kazuha reads his jealousy poems to her, because they drag on and on that she finishes almost half of her alcohol supply.
➸ it's been this way ever since you got together, he's never even been suspected of jealousy by you once.
➸ but today, it was a very different story.
➸ you were sparring with aether one day, and your fight was getting kind of intense.
➸ "not bad, y/n!" aether says with a mischievous grin. you just roll your eyes and dodge his attempts at surprising you.
➸ you didn't notice, but kazuha was watching you from a bench. he arrived a few minutes ago, and he was glad you were too wrapped into the fight to see his growing anger.
➸ seeing aether get so close to you at times, sometimes even grabbing your waist to try and confuse you, it made kazuha feel all types of anger and jealousy.
➸ he knew it was irrational, he trusted you and aether. although it didn't stop him from feeling an odd feeling in his chest every time aether got closer than he should.
➸ "hey what are you-" you finally shock aether, make him trip and fall straight onto the ground. before he can get up, you pin him down with your arms.
➸ "i win!" you shout victoriously, your hands still holding aether's above his head. "well played, y/n."
➸ before you could stand up you felt a strong gust of wind push up up. you nearly fell until kazuha quickly caught you and held you up bridal-newly wed style.
➸ "kazuha...what are you doing?" seeing his facial expression, how he's holding you, and the fact that you were pushed by a gust of wind was all pointing to kazuha.
➸ he's only gotten like this once before, and it was when you bumped into your ex in liyue. he was so scary in that moment, as he is right now.
➸ kazuha stayed silent and walked away. he kept walking despite your complaints and questions until you reached the docks.
➸ he set you down and sighed. "kazuha. what's wrong?" you asked, hoping for an answer this time.
➸ "i...i hated seeing you and aether have such fun together." he replied. "the way you were fighting...reminded me of how i fell for you."
➸ you wanted to say something but then he knelt down and held your hands. "i don't want...anyone to fall for you the same way. because the way that i fell for you, i would do anything to make you mine."
➸ your face was way too red right now, and you were in too much shock to say anything. you couldn't even look at him in the eye with how flustered you were.
➸ kazuha slowly lifted you your chin, and made you face him. he smiled at you and placed his hand on your cheek, probably attempting to calm you down.
➸ it just made you more flustered, but he loved it either way. he moved closer and moved his hands down to your waist.
➸ "come on, love. look at me." he whispered. you looked up at him and he was maybe an inch away from your lips.
➸ "k...kazuha, you know that i love you, right?" you muttered. he chuckles, "i know. but i want to be the only one, alright?" he said.
➸ you kissed him, he was a little shocked but quickly kissed back. pulling you closer and tighter.
➸ "i love you." he said, pulling away. "truly, you are the only one in my sights. i love you. i love you, i love you." you smiled, a red shade filling your cheeks once again.
➸ you always knew he was a charmer, but this was a whole new level. maybe you should get him jealous more often.

➸ diluc wasn't the jealous type. he trusted you with everything, which is one of the reasons why he fell so in love with you.
➸ but since you're one of the top adventurers in the adventurer's guild, always on top of the list for commissions, you definitely had a few fans who crossed the line here and there.
➸ which proves diluc's point. he trusts you, just not other people.
➸ he gets protective, because he doesn't want you to get hurt. not that you couldn't defend yourself, but he's just like that by nature.
➸ you never really had any connection with your fans, you were kind of a closed book like diluc, which is why you both got along so well together.
➸ until one of your old friends came back into town.
➸ you were with diluc in mondstadt, planning to have a small picnic together. you were on day-off from the guild and diluc was on day-off from the tavern.
➸ it was your first day together in a long time. you were both very excited, you prepared special dishes for each other.
➸ you found a spot just outside mondstadt and set down your food. diluc made you a gorgeous dish, just looking at it made you drool. you made him his favorite along with one of the finest wine in mondstadt, (made specially by one of his winery employees).
➸ while you munched down on your food, you both talked about your lives so far and what's been going on. until diluc could talk, you were interrupted by a, "y/n? is that you?"
➸ you turned to see one of your old friends. you haven't seen him since he became a wanderer and set sail across teyvat. he was rumored to be very rich and successful from being a great fighter, and he looked it.
➸ "y/n! it's been way too long!" he says, hugging you. you hug him back, delighted he's back in town.
➸ "wow, welcome back! how long are you staying here? and why?" you ask him, since he hasn't been back here in nearly 5 years.
➸ "ah well, you could say i was hoping to run into someone." he says, smiling. "always a charmer, hm?" you reply, throwing a soft punch to his shoulder.
➸ he looks behind you and notices diluc. "ah...who's this?" he asks. you take diluc's hand and introduce him, "this is diluc! he's my partner, we were actually having a picnic day today."
➸ "oh, i see." your friend mutters. you continue to tell him about diluc, and while you do diluc slowly intertwines his fingers with yours, and you squeeze his hand back in response.
➸ "wow, you two seem like quite the adventurers." your friend remarks, looking diluc up and down. "anyway, why don't we hang out today, huh y/n? it's been too long, i must spoil you."
➸ you feel diluc's hand squeeze tighter, which worries you. you look at him, but he just nods at you.
➸ "well, we were having a date together-" diluc cuts you off with, "go ahead, love. he's only here for a bit." you stare at him and he nods at you in reassurance.
➸ "oh, well okay!" before you leave, diluc grabs you back and kisses you softly. one of those long gentle kisses he knows you love.
➸ he pulls away, and winks at you before walking off with the picnic basket.
➸ "a-ah...bye diluc!" you say, still a little flustered from the sudden kiss. "yeah, bye diluc." your friend mutters, not that you heard it anyway.
➸ the rest of the day was amazing, you always loved reconnecting with old friends, but this guy was your oldest. he knew everything about you, your likes, dislikes and hobbies.
➸ he had the perfect day for you.
➸ from great food to great entertainment and great talk, the day was just super fun for the two of you.
➸ you finally head home, right outside the winery. "thank you for this, it was really fun." you say. your friend just smiles but goes in for something in his backpack.
➸ he pulled out a small little kitsune figurine.
➸ "i know you were always fascinated with inazuma, so i got this limited figure for you while i visited there." he says, handing it to you.
➸ you knew all about this figure, it was specially made by inazuman designers who placed small details everywhere that reflected an intricate moment of history in each detail.
➸ you couldn't help but hug him, and he hugged you back.
➸ "thank you, so much!" you said, not being able to hold in your squealing. "no problem." you tried to pull away but he kept you in his grasp. looking up, he was staring right back at you.
➸ "one last thing, before i go." he whispered. "do you really...love him? diluc?" he asks. you're surprised by this, but immediately answer, "yes." your friend pulls away and nods.
➸ he smiles at you, and walks away. shortly after he's out of sight, diluc comes out the door.
➸ "i love you too, precious." he whispers, wrapping his arms around you from behind.
➸ you smile and turn around to kiss him. he really was the best boyfriend you could ask for.

➸ ➸ xiao was the jealous type, considering you were his very first love. you were the most important thing in the world to him.
➸ he got really broody when he got jealous, distancing himself from everyone except you. he just stayed by your side, making sure to be in touch with you.
➸ he made sure to show people you were his when he gets jealous. he hugs you, holds your hand, rests his head on the crook of your neck, all the wholesome PDA acts.
➸ it hasn't happened in a while since you two were were wandering teyvat together, but when you arrived back in liyue, something happened.
➸ zhongli was waiting for you at the docks, and you waved at him once you saw him.
➸ you two were close friends, ever since you helped him get together with childe, you have both been very close friends.
➸ no one knew they were together though, since they wanted a secret relationship. which made it hard for you not to cheer them on.
➸ their relationship was super private that even xiao didn't know yet. you felt bad about not telling him since you told him everything, but zhongli begged for it.
➸ you gave zhongli a hug and he gave you one back. "welcome back, y/n." he said with a smile.
➸ childe came quickly after you arrived and hugged you as well.
➸ the three of you talked almost the entire day, since you've been gone for almost a month there's a lot you've missed with the two of them.
➸ it took you a long time to realize that xiao left to go home a long time ago, and it was already nightfall. you waved goodbye to the two, and went home to look for xiao.
➸ you came in, and saw xiao in the kitchen. "hello, love!" you said, hugging him from behind.
➸ he stayed silent. man, i guess he was upset that you didn't talk to him for almost the entire day.
➸ "xiao...i'm sorry that i haven't been with you today." you whisper. xiao just sighs and continues cooking.
➸ you release yourself from him and flop onto your bed. you hated when xiao was upset with you, it was always the worst that you couldn't talk to him or look at him.
➸ you decided to go to bed, sleep it off.
➸ in the middle of the night, you woke up and xiao wasn't there. not that it was worrying, he always went on walks at night. but you still checked outside.
➸ there he was, with...xiangling?
➸ you hid yourself and listened in to their conversation.
➸ "they've been so close with zhongli-xiansheng lately. i have no idea why. are they...losing interest in me?" god, hearing this made your heart drop.
➸ you decide to sneak out back and head over to zhongli's house. you knock multiple times and a tired, grumpy zhongli answers.
➸ "just because we're friends does not mean you can wake me up at such preposterous hours." he mutters, rubbing his eyes.
➸ "i need to ask you, can i please tell xiao about you two?" he stops rubbing his eyes and looks at you. "we've talked about this, y/n."
➸ "he thinks i'm being distant! and i just tell him we're close friends but come on, from his perspective? it definitely seems like way more." you argue.
➸ "i...i love him. like you love childe. please help me let him know that, zhongli." you whisper, your eyes filling up with tears.
➸ zhongli's eyes become worried and he sighs, reluctantly saying, "alright. xiao's a good one, i don't want him hurt again."
➸ you smile and hug zhongli before dashing back home. xiao and xiangling are no longer outside, so you enter through the front door.
➸ you walk in and see xiao on the couch, his eyes filled with tears.
➸ "y/n! where were you?! i thought you were dead! you never even called for my help or-" you cut him off with a hug, he's confused but hugs you back.
➸ "xiao. i know how you feel about me and zhongli, and i wanna tell you everything now that i have permission to." you say, sitting down on the couch.
➸ you explain everything, to the very last detail. xiao's emotions change through it but he ends up happy towards the end. just glad you really did love him, just as he loved you.
➸ he hugged you tight, and you did the same. "you are...everything to me. i'm sorry for acting petty, but i can't stand the thought of you not being with me. in my life." xiao whispered.
➸ you gave him a quick kiss and put your forehead against his. "same here my little adeptus. i love you."
ayato scenario where his partner has a bad dream about him leaving them?

➸ one day you overheard a few girls gossiping outside the kamisato residence. they just finished talking with ayato and they were clearly smitten over him.
➸ "god, he is so handsome and polite. truly a prince." the first girl said.
➸ "yeah put his suck-up partner isn't good enough for him at all. have you seen them?" the other girl commented, rolling her eyes.
➸ "ugh, yeah. they're such a pain in the ass too, keeping ayato away from his fangirls." they both laugh and continue on gossiping who knows what about you.
➸ no words could describe the pain you were feeling right now. you ran inside the house into your bedroom and stayed there for almost the entire day.
➸ you fell asleep, and ayato found you in the room, but didn't wake you up. he just lay down next to you and fell asleep with you in his arms.
➸ a few hours into the night, you started squirming. ayato instantly noticed because he was still wrapped around you. he woke up and looked at you. still asleep.
➸ you started muttering words. most were indecipherable but some words were understandable.
➸ "no...please" hearing this, ayato got a little worried so he decided to wake you up. but then he heard, "don't...don't go, please."
➸ he woke you up and your eyes were filled with tears. he didn't see them earlier because he was hugging you from behind, but seeing you crying made him more worried.
➸ "honey, what's wrong?" he whispered. you were embarrassed to say what you were really dreaming about, but it was ayato. you trusted him with everything.
➸ "i...i don't know how to say it but-" before you could finish, he pulled you in close and gently stroked your hair. "go on, love. i just wanted to hold you so badly, i can't stand seeing you cry."
➸ this gave you courage to say what you needed to. you took a deep breath and continued, "i dreamt that you left me. in probably the worst way possible."
➸ ayato pulled away and looked at you in shock. "leave? what would ever make you dream of something like that?" he said, his eyes widened with worry.
➸ "i've never been confident with my...outward appearance. and those girls you trained today in your classes were gossiping about me this afternoon." you admitted, quite shyly.
➸ for a moment, it was quiet. you looked at ayato and he was just in complete disbelief. he stood up and walked out of the room, which confused you but he came back a few minutes later with a book.
➸ "i want you to know how important you are to me, y/n. take this." ayato handed you a small black notebook. you opened it and the first page had a picture of you and ayato on it.
➸ you smiled, remembering the day you took it. your first date with him. he took you to a small little cafe with cats and boba tea, and one of the cats sat right on top of his head, which is when you decided to take the picture.
➸ you looked at ayato and he gestured for you to continue flipping the pages.
➸ you went on to the next page and there was an entry in it. looking at the date, it was maybe a year ago, just before you met ayato.
➸ "i have a new student to train today. a friend of ayaka's, who's definitely sparked my interest. the pure gracefulness in their skill just amazes me."
➸ as you continued on reading, you realized that this was ayato's...diary?
➸ you reached the 3rd passage of the diary, which sent you into a big flustered mess.
➸ "i've never had this strong of a feeling for anyone in my entire life. it's a feeling that pulls me towards them, makes me want to risk it all just for one touch, one hug, one kiss. their smile makes me weak, their laugh makes me smile and the way they act is just so tender and sweet. could this be what love feels like? i'll make a mental note to ask ayaka." you looked at the date, and it was the day ayato asked you out.
➸ "now, do you believe that i love you so much it practically hurts?" ayato asked.
➸ you kissed him, he kissed back. when you tried to pull away he just went in closer to kiss you more, his grip growing tighter around your waist.
➸ when you finally got out of it, you looked him in the eyes and smiled. "t...thank you, ayato." you said.
➸ "anything for you, love." he replied, as he kissed you again.
➸ you knew ayato was perfect, but if anyone ever asked, he's more than you could ever have hoped for.
