Of the Batkids (or Batman himself) who do you see Peter getting along with the most? Which one do you think would have the most entertaining (to you) relationship of the bunch with him?
OOOH this is a great question and i actually have several answers!!
realistically, i think tim and peter would get along the best. they're both in their own ways tech nerds who became heroes young (like the rest of the batkids but yk...) and both have estranged relationships with their mentors. they'd watch star wars together and nerd out about it for sure. this especially applies if they're both teenagers in high school. hell they'd be absolute menaces at gotham prep together just for the hell of it. and they'd work so well together on cases as vigilantes because they have such similar motivations and morals. they'd both do everything possible to save as many people as they can and care so deeply about the right thing.
i also think he and dick would get along really well. dick is such a sucker for kids that need guidance, and peter is exhibit A all the way to Z. dick would be such a grounding voice for peter. the so desperately needs positive advice and support from an adult in his life (like happy), and dick would absolutely provide. dick is also such an inspiring figure and would motivate peter to do better and take necessary breaks. dick is also a hypocrite, and even peter would need to remind him to take care of his health and that he can't save everyone. they'd help each other emotionally so much and i think they'd get along great.
however, the most interesting relationship to me would have to be peter and duke. this is probably bias because duke is my favorite bat other than damian, but PLEASE hear me out!! duke is so much like mj to me in ways peter would appreciate so deeply. duke is genuinely such a strong willed person, who never backed down no matter how much he went through. he has the same strong will mj did and peter would vibe with that heavy. duke being the only other meta would automatically create understanding between the two in a way no other bat can offer them. duke understands what it's like to suddenly develop powers at an unexpected time in his life, just like peter, and they'd get along so well in that regard. they're both newly meta teenagers that just need someone like themselves to relate to, and they'd be that rock for each other. they'd also share the same humor to me. like, i can totally see them laughing their asses off at a joke only the other finds funny in a room of extremely left out bats.
i think peter and bruce's relationship would resemble his and tony's the most. although bruce is less sarcastic and tough-love than tony is, that's still an older rich guy providing resources for peter. he'd treat bruce the same way he did tony, which is being an awkward teenager enamored by him. peter would be a lot more rigid with him when he's batman, though, before slowly loosening up. i mean, it's batman! he's gonna be nervous!
peter and barbara would also get along great. in the context of barbara being a librarian, they probably would have been the first to meet out of all the bats and peter. she'd also be a grounding force for peter, somewhere to go when everywhere else seems unsafe or crazy. they'd also totally nerd out together about books, barbara being a librarian and all. she'd recommend books completely out of peter's regular genre that he surprisingly ends up really enjoying. she gets him out of his comfort zone all the time and he's really appreciate it.
peter and damian would have the cutest little sibling relationship in my heart in ways no other bat can wrap their heads around. damian would be distrusting of peter at first, but slowly warm up to him as he proved himself more and more, eventually leading to damian allowing himself to laugh at peter's jokes and make his own around him. peter would remind damian of jon in a sense, and he'd enjoy his presence a lot.
peter would also find jason SO cool. he wouldn't be offput by jason's lack of a no kill rule because he's fought alongside so many people that do kill, and would just find jason the coolest. he'd find red hood's dedication to protect children honorable and would find jason's alt motorcycle riding ass SO sick. he wants to be jason when he grows up.
those are my personal most interesting relationships for peter, but i love all the dynamics i've seen people make with other batfam members! peter would just fit right in with the batfam and he'd get along with absolutely all of them in their own weird ways.
