Hot take but the needle drop moment (cover of 'The Middle') in Supergirl was actually good, especially if you consider the scene from Ruthye's perspective or even that of a young Kara.

Avatar "fans" on TikTok giggling and chortling over the possibility that Neytiri hid Spider's mask and going, "LOL, she wanted him GONE! I would have done the same thing! So valid!" as if it's the funniest thing ever…

Okay. Now apply that same logic to real life.

Let's see how funny it is when someone hides your inhaler. Or your EpiPen. Or any other piece of life-sustaining medical equipment you rely on to breathe and survive.

Spider's exopack isn't just a cool sci-fi accessory. It's damn near medical equipment. Without it, he dies. But y'all already knew that, right? Otherwise, you wouldn't be laughing and whining that Neytiri should have hidden it better.

But sure. Hilarious.

I hate when people say I'm too young to enjoy certain movies or songs. I'm allowed to like the first Avatar movie and listen to Michael Jackson.

What do you think the worst Marvel film is?

It's subjective (as is all art) but in my opinion, the worst is Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania. All that shrinking and growing without a half-decent sense of scale and Antman himself felt sidelined.

But that's just me.

Scalding hot take, but if you like Thg or Avatar and you use AI you are really really weird, both James Cameron and Suzanne Collins said they don't support gen AI at ALL, And if you think its okay just because its 'chatgpt' or 'c.ai' or whatever slop it is. It's not, it's harmful and weird. Thats my ted talk, thanks.

Sometimes, it's weird to think about how Sylwanin was actually still alive when Jake left Earth.

Imagine Spider wanting to hold Tuk after she was born. Neytiri resists with what little energy she has. However, when everyone is asleep, Lo'ak (being who he is) ushers him over to let him hold baby Tuk for a bit. For a human kid who's around 7 to 8 years old, Tuk is a big baby and Spider probably puts all his strength into holding her. And from there, a life long kinship starts.

Somehow, it's never occurred to me that Quaritch and Mo'at are roughly the same age. On the Avatar fandom page, Quaritch's year of birth is placed around 2096-2103 while Mo'at's year of birth is placed around 2095-2104.

Considering Mo'at is likely in her mid-60s or -70s, I think we'll get more of her since Na'vi live longer than humans (provided they don't get injured or ill, I guess). That makes me happy :)

I reckon Trudy knew Paz Socorro. It would make sense, given they were both pilots and both possibly Latina (Paz is unconfirmed).

I wonder if they were close. I wonder if Trudy knew about Paz's pregnancy and birth. What if she did know and she told Norm where Spider was hidden and that's how he was found after the war?
