Random collection of Batfamily headcanons I've been collecting in my notes app

- Jason has one of those fuckass 90s tribal tattoos

- Cass, Duke and Steph are cat people. Bruce, Dick and Jason are dog people. Barbara is a rabbit person. Tim is a reptile person. Damian is an everything person.

- Jason swears up and down that he hates country music but will listen to Dolly Parton's Jolene for six hours on loop

- Batfamily cuddle piles are a thing. It's not uncommon to see the Bats curled up with each other, soundly asleep.

- Tim can sing really well and he's so annoying about it. He can hit high notes that make girls jealous.

- They're all annoying to watch movies with: Tim will know the plot after five minutes of watching, Jason complains about plot holes, Dick talks the entire time, Steph eats obnoxiously loud, Duke will take up all the couch space or lie across people, Babs spends the entire movie shushing everyone, Cass tries to scare people, Damian refuses to share his snacks and Bruce falls asleep halfway through the movie and snores

- Tim is the reigning champion of Gotham's annual staring competition. He's held the title for four years now.

- Cass' favourite animal is the capybara.

- Dick has a tramp stamp tattoo (he lost a bet to Donna)

- Cass likes to send rick rolls to her brothers, especially Jason because he gives the best reactions

- Tim has the most random skillset because of random rich people shit his parents made him do as a kid. He can't ride a bicycle but can skateboard, he can't sew but he can tell you the exact brand and price of the luxury designer clothes socialites wear to galas.

- Duke likes to fuck with people using his powers. Especially if he gets to pull a looney tunes move like making goons run into a wall because he made it look like a tunnel.

- Steph gets really mean when she's sick, everyone has learnt to not take anything she says personally.

- Tim collects Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards. He has huge albums filled with cards that have a collective net worth of thousands, if not millions.

- All the Batkids can play at least one instrument

- Tim will only drink coffee if it's iced and has so much syrup that he can barely taste the coffee. Bernard takes his coffee black.

- They're all super flexible (compared to normal people). Bruce is technically the least flexible because of his age but he can still fold himself in half like a lawn chair.

- Tim has a mild form of narcolepsy

- Damian roleplays warrior cats on roblox with Nika, Jon and Trinity.

- Tim and Steph had emo/scene kid phases

- Tim and Steph had their first kiss at an Evanescence concert

- Tim's dream car is the T-180 from the Speed Racer movie

- Cass and Bruce like to hang out in the same vicinity and relax in each other's presence in silence.

- All the Batkids have come up with separate plans for stealing the Declaration of Independence

- Tim unironically says "you activated my trap card!" and "all according to keikaku" when his plans work

- Jason and Tim are unknowingly Tumblr mutuals. Jason has a literature blog and Tim has a photography one.

- They have family d&d sessions, Barbara dm's. If someone is unable to make it they just pretend the character got kidnapped for the umpteenth time.

- Sometimes after a bad night, Bruce will tuck his kids into bed and sing them to sleep, no matter how old they get they'll always be his babies.
