every time someone who goes by it/its gets called they/them an angel loses its wings
(*assuming the person who called it they/them knew its pronouns were it/its)
Nonbinary dysphoric culture is not feeling connection with ways binary trans dysphoria is often shown, and falling into "am I faking my gender?" abyss (again)
Dysphoric culture is!
Also, yeah mod dealt with this while being diagnosed with dysphoria (the second time). The questions were all about if mod wanted the 'opposite' body parts or used the 'opposite' pronouns as mod's AGAB, even though mod was out as abinary to that person.
This kind of framing of dysphoria excludes a ton of people like nonbinary, intersex trans, and even binary trans people with atypical dysphoria or who are gender non-conforming.
You're totally valid if your dysphoria is more non-binary anon!
bitches will be like ‘is anyone going to talk about the ways that transphobia, especially nonbinary skepticism, is inherently racist, specifically anti-indigenous and antisemitic?’ and not wait for an answer
friendly reminder that ace, nonbinary, & pan exclusionists don't do anything to help the lgbtq+ community. all they do is make people feel unsafe in a place that already welcomes them. anyways ace, nonbinary, & pan people deserve to celebrate pride.
trumeds really be like: ur not letting us exclude people that's not very inclusive of you :/
just trying to look my queerest
Defining bi as attraction to two or more genders invalidates straight and gay nonbinary people and their partners. It also excuses transphobia as a matter of preference. A lesbian is not less of a lesbian because she's dating an agender person or demigirl. An agender person's only link to womanhood can be their lesbian identity and that doesn't mean they are "just a woman" by calling themselves a lesbian and dating women. A bisexual person who refuses to date a nonbinary person because they're "only into men and women" is a bigot. A cis bisexual person who has a "preference" for nonbinary people is a fetishistic asshole. Do you feel sexual and/or romantic attraction? You can be attracted to some nonbinary people.
