when peter first meets shuri his immediate thought is “mj would love this girl”. he tries to tell her this, but she dismisses him (to be fair, he’s probably done this before and been way off), but he keeps insisting bc he has a good feeling this time. she keeps refusing so finally he just invites shuri to hang out with them one day without telling mj. she pulls him aside like “what the fuck peter how long were you gonna hide this girl from me” and he’s just like “???? i tried to tell you!!”
even though peter and ned have known each other longer, mj and shuri start dating first bc they have their shit together and peter and ned are oblivious. mj and shuri both tease them a lot
once they do get together, peter and ned are bigger on pda. they’re almost always holding hands and peter’s favorite place to sit is ned’s lap
