If more people chose the light, the world would be less dark...
Reminding myself as an business woman to always base my success off my client’s satisfaction, not the money in the back or the amount of followers on my social media accounts.
Just Avada Kedavra the bad shit and always remember to cherish the good shit.
Back story:
I was hired by these young lovebirds to capture their private and intimate wedding. They decided they can’t wait any longer to tie the knot, but are planning on having their huge wedding celebrating when traveling opens back up to their hometown area in Canada. They were accompanied by close family and friends but I’m sure they are excited to have their dream wedding that covid cannot prevent!
Until then, they and I are both pleased with the outcome of their private photos and I’ve even been welcomed to join them in Canada when the time comes for the main event! 💍🌟
Backstory:
I was hired by this cute little girl’s grandmother and due to the weather the session was postponed a few weeks out but the wait was SO worth it. During the shoot, little missy had no desire to take any photos and was not afraid to inform me of it either. At one point she even said she had “no reason” to look at the lens.
Honestly, I found it super cute but I knew the parents (coparenting, not together but wanting “family photos” still which I love) were nervous they weren’t going to have great images.
To be honest, driving back from Houston to my home in Austin, I too was nervous I wouldn't have.. but to my pleasant surprise I began editing these gems and WALA... pleased client and photographer again. 😊

Backstory:
Dont let this pretty face fool you, she is graduating HIGH school! She definitely shocked me when she said she had a love for math more than anything and wanted to incorporate it into her photos somehow.
What better way then to prompt her to use it like she’s texting her high school crush and neither of us would have known how cute they would have come out until afterwards.
She also is a fan of art and butterflies so she personally handprinted the casing of her calculator and her graduation cap!
Congrats, Sophia and good luck at Arizona State University!
Backstory: I have worked in the nursing field with this woman for 4 years and she was one of the first sessions I did when starting my photography journey. I got to capture her with her beautiful daughters!
Backstory: She showed up in cowboy boots, glasses and a country outfit for the boudoir shoot. I had no idea what to expect. We walked through trails and found this location and she just SHOWED OUT more than I could have ever imagined.
Backstory: I was hired by this mom to take photos of her daughter for her 15th birthday. I was so excited, because as you can imagine, I was assuming so was the daughter.... NOT! The daughter is a boxer, hates make up and despises dresses but she pushed through. I decided to edit a few in a more moody vibe that I felt her daughter would appreciate and gave her mom some light and airy copies too!
Backstory: I was hired as the photographer for a wedding... as surprise to the bride. She was not intending on having a professional photographer since covid had caused enough financial and emotional stress on them already. I showed up prior to the wedding to surprise her and that alone was an event itself. Enjoy some of these beautiful pictures of the venue and emotion involved between to bridesmaid/family member who hired me and the bride!
How is one expected to work when a Frenchie is sleeping on your laptop?

When you have as beautiful kids as I have, finding models is not a difficult task.
Real estate agent: I need you to take pictures of this listing for me *sends link*
Me: *to myself obviously* 900K FOR A ONE BEDROOM CONDO?!?!
Nothing like the sound of rolling water.
Backstory:
I was walking on a trail near downtown Austin before I began taking my photography seriously. At the time, I didn’t carry my Canon camera with me regularly for beautiful scenes like this but I didn’t want to miss it. So I did what anyone in 2021 would do.. I pulled out my cellphone and stopped this beauty of downtown Austin, Texas!
Backstory: When I first began woking at the obgyn office, she trained me. She left and continued her education and was able to married her best friend, graduate nursing school and conceive a new bundle of joy!
She was born with TWO uteri (plural for uterus) and was unsure if she would ever be able to conceive, easily at that! And sure enough, with no prevention and little planning she was blessed!
Needless to say, NEVER underestimate the female body. Never listen to anyone who says it’s impossible to have kids (unless you’ve had a hysterectomy or bilateral salpingectomy).
