I had a dream last night where I thought I was watching the Owl House finale, but it was beingspoiled for me on tiktok. In it Luz was possed by emperor belos and the possesion gave her the ability to perform regular magic without gliphs. Both Amity and The Golden gaurd (Spoilers *Hunter*) was trying to snap her out of it. And Luz was attacking them and telling them that Luz never really exsisted that she was a lie. And Amity couldn't beleive it. She said that the love they shared was real. And Luz went to blast Amity with a spell but she froze up and couldn't move. She was trying to fight Belos, but she lost. And she started moving again. Amity didn't move she stood ready to take the blast, before Hunter takles Luz to the ground. Luz strugglesd against him before Amity kissed Luz and broke Belos's control. Then I woke up and relised I dremt all of that. I am happy I wasn't spoiled but also bumbed cause it was really cool. And beutifully animated.

First take a standard rectangular piece of paper (I used one from a small notebook which I ripped out then cut the holes off)

Then fold in half touching the shorter side to the opposite shorter side.

Fold again making the new shorter side touch the other new shorter side

I did this one more time, but this time I unfolded it right after to get back to where it was only folded twice. It should have left a crease in the paper.

Using this crease, fold the corners up alongside it to look like this

This are also going to be unfolded, but this time you’re going to push in alongside the triangular folds you just made and undid.

These dudes are fucking legit.  They don’t just show up one day in court, either, they actually make friends with the kids and let them know they have a support system and that there are people in the world who care about them and will always have their back.  And less important, but also cool, is that the few times a couple of them have come into my cafe, they’ve been super friendly and polite and when I told one of the guys that I noticed his Bikers Against Child Abuse patch and wanted him to know how awesome I thought he was because of it, he got kind of shy and blushed and said, “The kids are the awesome ones, we just let them know they’re allowed to be brave.”

Guys? This post changed my life. I saw this post. Forever ago. And thought it was only in america… and wished desperately that they could help me. But then I saw it again, during a bad episode, and checked their site. They aren’t just in the USA

They’re in Canada as well and probably other countries. I met and talked with a native guy who runs the place near me. His name is Shaman. I got in, and I’m considered a BACA child now. Despite being 17, turning 18 when I talked to them. They spent time with me when my abuser was over, they gave me therapy resources. They give you something called a ‘level 1′ where they go to your house with as many bikers as they can, i shit you not a solid 20-40 bikers came from even out of province, and met me. I got to choose my biker name and I got a vest with patches on it and my name on it. They all hugged a Teddybear before giving it to me, and told me if I ever felt the BACA bear was running out of love, to give them a call and they’d refill it for me, and then I got a ride on one of their bikes. Just a day or so ago I went to an annual party with them and they we ate food one of them cooked and had a lot of laughs. 

I’ve never felt as loved as I did being a part of the BACA family. They also gave me dog tags with the names, and phone numbers of my 2 workers.  So I can call them whenever I feel scared. 

BACA is an absolutely wonderful group that will do everything in it’s power to help any child whos been abused. 

And it doesn’t end when you’re 18 either. As long as you get in contact/get your level 1 before you’re 18? you’re ALWAYS a BACA kid. I’m 18 now and they still invite me to parties, ask me if I’m okay, and are there for me. They’re still trying to find me resources for therapy. 

BACA has changed my fucking life.

I am always so proud of me and my boyfriend. We both have our own money but we take turns spoiling echother. Liek he pays for dinners and stuff or buys me snacks or drinks when I ask. But I do the same thing for him. It just really depends on gets to there money faster, but we always try to make it fair.

It's funny that u mention lu//mity = Starco bc if the show does pull the merging of the two realms at the end so that luz & amity could be together forever I will never watch another Disney cartoon ever again.

I compare it to Starco in terms of being a “fan fave” the same way I’d compare Willuz to Tomstar because those ships would’ve made sense in the show.

Tomstar fit the whole mewmans vs monsters theme and had it been acknowledged that Tom is a monster, then I think both of them could fix relations. They’d also parallel Eclipsa and Globgor who were another 2 faves of mine. I say that Willuz is the same way. They fit the “weirdos stick together” theme because they were both ostracized and very quickly found comfort and solace in each other. It also would be more original to have 2 girls of color with 2 different body types being together, kinda like Ruby/Sapphire. I’d think they’d also parallel Eda and Raine nicely because I could see that being Luz and Willow, easily.

I didn’t like starco because the two opposite sex main characters getting together is annoying. I thought svtfoe was going in a direction to show that a boy and girl literally can be friends. The blood moon thing wasn’t even a problem because I thought “platonic soulmates”. Their breakups with other characters were forced in order to keep them together which was such a cop out after seeing Tom and Star in a pretty healthy relationship after Tom made the decision to improve himself.

Lumity, in a way, felt the same. As soon as Amity showed up as a yt girl bully, i knew she was gonna be the main one shipped with Luz despite the fact she was completely awful when she thought she was alone. I’m once again, tired of seeing sweet characters being used to redeem terrible ones. It’s one thing if Amity did grapple with how she used to be/how she treated people, but only after Luz, she becomes better. In fact, Luz becomes her motivation for everything and I’m not here for it.

Ofc people are gonna say Luz changed her for the better but Luz shouldn’t have had to change her at all. She should’ve wanted to be better on her own terms. She could’ve just been tired of being mean or at the very least, face the consequences of her actions that makes her think. Something like Willow deciding not to be friends because years of harassment is pretty traumatic or Willow and Gus simply not trusting her because she was Boscha’s right hand. Luz could even be conflicted because on one hand Amity was nice to her but on the other, she was literally Willow’s bully.

I genuinely just want some character depth because everything seems so surface level. Also, if they did merge worlds, I’d hope they actually show life there later on because svtfoe’s world merging literally looked like they just fucked up everything and put everyone in danger.

However, I feel you missed some things that are worth noteing. Amity was a product of her up bringing and her mom is clearly pretty toxic. Her mother is controlling, belittleing and egotistical. Alot how Amity was when we first meet her. But thats all in the name of trying to be the person her mother wants her to be. And yes she could want to be a better person and not act on it because she is scared of the backlash she would receive from her mother. She stopped being friends with Willow because her parents threatened to keep Willow out of Hexide.

This is where Luz I think is so great for Amity. Luz is undinably herself, a weirdo, and at first that is threatening to Amity because she herself can't be. We see this when they have their dual. I still think their relationship holds to the theme that weirdos stick together as well as brings up the point that its ok to be a weirdo. And sometimes its ok to not do exactly what is expected of you. Yes Amity was a bully but I think she was trapped in a position that only Luz was able to help her be brave enough to get out of.

But of course, I am not saying you have to like the ship. Those are just some of my thoughts and opinions. If you would like to have a friendly debate on it I am willing to discuss further.

No no, I understand. I mean, Amity ,in her own right, is a “weirdo” but not really to me. She was brought up that way and doubled down because it was all she knew but I wish that it was more than Luz having to fix it. I wish there was a glimpse of guilt before Luz so then it would be like Luz is helping her while she helps herself.

I would’ve preferred to see her want to be around Willow/long for the relationship that Willow, Luz, and Gus had so she’d want to do things on her own with Luz probably encouraging her. My biggest gripe is that pretty much all of Amity’s development fell on Luz. Even Willow’s development revolved around Amity.

But ignoring Amity’s sad violin backstory, it really doesn’t excuse the mistreatment of someone for years and everyone kinda glosses over it. Even when she wasn’t outright nasty, she still managed to be rude and I hate to repeat this point but it lasted YEARS until Luz showed up. That’s what I’m stuck on, she bullied Willow for years(probably Gus too) and it took a crush to stop it.

Like, imagine being bullied by an ex friend and they stopped because they got a crush on your new friend since they hung out. It’s weird. And even when her parents did get Willow, Luz, and Gus expelled, she didn’t jump into action until realizing Luz was in danger. Even then, she brought Willow and Gus along, they got sidelined and we got “stay away from my Luz”.

We got a speech about how important her friends are but we only ever see her with Luz. We only ever see her jump into anything for Luz.
